I'm lurking in the shadows. It takes a lot of effort to lurk. Has anyone else lurked? Perhaps if I just slithered, I might get more done. Or maybe skulked. And these shadows...somebody needs to do something about the lighting in here...we could all go blind!

Actually, the Alliance killed many without calling it "assassinating". Assassination is defined as the premeditated murder of someone (at least that's how I define it). If this is true, tell me how civilian employees in Imperial bases are spared when Imperial outposts are destroyed by the Rebellion? How many innocent paper pushers died on the Death Star? What about Imperial freighters that were "liberated" of their cargo? Surely there were deaths on board. It is true that the Rebellion didn't have assassins creeping around in the shadows putting blaster bolts in Imperial characters' faces, but they did do indiscriminate killing. What about Wraith Squadron? I don't think they were particularly law abiding... Just my opinion...but I think the Rebellion actually committed just as many atrocities as the Empire...from a certain point of view...

I had some things going on IRL that has kept me away, but everything's okay now. I don't know of any mods to GB, but I wish there were. I too love putting big holes in Trade Federation droids. Especially with an Imperial AT-AT!

Actually, I think I may have the answer to this. When you conquered the last Rebel/Neutral system, Luke was probably on his way there in hyperspace. When he got there, he had high enough combat/espionage to escape but since there were no more Rebel systems, he's in limbo (since escaping characters always travel to the nearest friendly system). Did you check the "Characters" tab and see if his location says unknown?

I just played Clone Campaigns a few days ago...it's still a very good game.

The Empire would probably team up with the Romulans, since they look the most "human". Remember, the Empire hates non-humans (they wouldn't be crazy about the Romulans, either, but what the hell, they have cloaking ships! ) Klingons would be alone, but they would like it that way, since they're idiots and think they can conquer everybody by themselves.

In order to keep it from being a problem, use RebEd to make them EXTREMELY expensive to build and maintain so you'd only want one squadron anyway. Then crank up their hyperdrives to 5 so they can travel great distances quickly. Oh, yes, and don't allow the AI to build them, because the AI would spend all it's time building them and never build SDs. BTW, once again you've found a great quote! I am truly impressed!

OOC: Personally, I've been really busy IRL. Plus, there's only so much the Dark Gnome can do by itself. Somebody needs to take control of the ISD Proud Order which arrived recently carrying high level officers (hint, hint).

Brilliant tactician, wrong side. Made one too many mistakes. Does anyone ever wonder what would have happened if someone sane had been in control of Nazi Germany? I mean, they did have superior weapons for a while and very good generals. Hell, they had jets before the Allies did!

Usually, an easter egg is placed where you can't find it very easily. It's usually not a random event. I think the "Rescue Han" event is so rare (hey, there's your random...Han getting captured!) that it would be a perfect easter egg!

That can be done in RebEd! If the pic is sized correctly, of course!

I've had Luke say the sensing thing once or twice, when Luke detected enemy Jedi, but only when I actually opened up the message (I usually scan through and see the result and don't really open up things...Luke Skywalker Mission Foiled, Imperial Star Destroyer deployed at Yavin, etc). A lot of the sounds are only when you open up messages.

Not for Thanksgiving! It's an eating extravaganza only. Celebrating all that we're thankful for and all that rubbish. I did enjoy the pumpkin pie, though.

What do you suggest Hermitage means? Could that be when characters are "retired"? I've never retired a character, even if they are betraying me (that's what suicide missions are for, right? ) If anyone is at home, and can test this, please retire a character and go to the "Personnel Finder" and see what it says. I've just got one thing for all of you to think about... Sith vs. those idiot Starfleet Security dipwads who die in every episode Need I say more? The guys in red couldn't survive a strong gust of wind, much less Imperial Stormtroopers marching on UFP headquarters. BTW, I never saw any starfighters in Star Trek...everything in Star Trek was designed for capital ship vs capital ship...one squad of TIE Defenders could decimate all of Starfleet in a single strike!
