Very well said, Jahled! The only thing I would add is use Han and Chewie as much as possible. The two of them are unstoppable on sabotage and espionage missions, and with the Falcon, they get it done twice as quick! Just keep in mind that Rebel characters have a lot more "events" happen to them (Han and bounty hunters, Luke disappears for a while, if Han gets captured all main characters go to rescue him, etc. etc. etc.). Watch the Han and bounty hunters events! When the Empire locates Solo, they also get free espionage on the system he's at. Never have Solo at the Alliance HQ!!!!!

Salutations! Don't mind Jahled...he's sort of strange. Oh, wait. We're all kinda strange!

Bombarding your own system! BWAHAHAHAHAA!!!

Make sure if you do use fighters on a system that you keep over six squadrons. If you have less than six fighters on a system, the Rebels can usually destroy them all with a minimal fleet. I usually don't waste time with fighters on a system except at Coruscant and any system with lots of shipyards (like mask).

Commodore Loor stood at attention along with the rest of the command staff of Admiral Nevit. The failure of the previous day was sure to bring several demotions and transfers. Loor just hoped he didn't wind up hauling Bantha dung in a ancient freighter for the rest of his career... Nevit strode into the room and stood behind the podium. "I'm not going to mince words, gentlemen. What you may have perceived to be a setback yesterday has actually given us new life. My own incompetence led to the defeat, but thanks to the space station, we may have won the day! Please look at the screen..." Loor turned to the screen and saw the tactical playback of the battle. There were the Interceptors being defeated, then the fighters attacking the Devil's Blood. He watched as the torps hit the shields and the resulting explosions. Just then, Nevit stopped the playback. "As you can see, the Rebel's strategy was to hit us all at one time to disable my shields, but something strange happened. Something only perceived by the station's sensors. Watch this again in slow motion with an overlay of the station's data." The command staff gasped as they saw explosions that shouldn't have been there. Was this some anomaly? "The station also picked up minute disturbances from here and here. We have reason to believe the Rebels have developed some sort of cloak for their ships that allow them to fire cloaked torpedoes! The information that was contained on the Rebel Corvette Badger was the data to this new cloaking technology! Imperial Command has informed me the aquisition of this technology is Priority One. We are getting reinforcements and all the resources we need. I will give you more information as it becomes available. Dismissed."

In order to stop the sabotage, garrison your systems with at least 6 regiments of troops...I suggest Stormies for the Imps or Sullustans for the Reb scum. Stormtroopers are good all-around for the cost and Sullustans are the kings of foiling sabotage! As for the fleet, I don't always rely on the biggest. Rebellion does not always reward the fleet with the best ships. I build lots of the cheap ships (and I mean lots) and throw in a technologically superior ship when I can. And make sure your fleet has as many starfighters as possible! Most of all, experiment! You may not like our strategies...everyone likes to play a little different! Try invading systems...if you like diplomacy. Try building in the Rim so you can develop large shipyards in secret! Use your characters for sabotage missions on enemy mines and refineries! In short, have fun!

My first SW:Rebellion/Supremecy expirence

The Outer Rim is different than the Core. Even if you have visited a system and it was neutral, after you leave the Rebs can take it over but you won't be notified. You have to keep sending recon missions to those systems to make sure the Rebs haven't taken over. Either that or make tons of Assault Transports and send one to every system in the Rim I was bored one time and actually blockaded every neutral system in five or six sectors...looking for the Reb HQ. I don't suggest this method, as insanity took over. -
You must capture Mon Mothma and Luke plus destroy the Alliance HQ to win as the Galactic Empire. You must capture Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine and capture Coruscant to win as the Rebel Alliance. I've had many games where I just had to search every, single, solitary, stinkin' planet in the galaxy to find characters...frustrating when you've destroyed the enemy's fleets and are only on a hide-and-seek.

Sounds like time to send out probe droids, and lots of them! All those systems in the Rim that show up as "white crosses" are where the Rebs are hiding. Be careful when you send a fleet in...they could have a pretty nice fleet hiding there. The Glory of the Empire shall never dim! -
I just about passed out from laughing.... Everyone here at work thinks I've lost what little mind I had left.
-
ROFLMAO... I just imagined Imperial Guards floating around a rock with a chair on it...

And Imperial Navy uniforms will now be issued in pink with yellow pinstripes. And instead of boots, all officers will be clad in stiletto heels and fishnet stockings!

Commodore Loor glanced over at the young officer at Tactical. Lieutenant Uhrlik turned to give his report to his superior. "We have our victims, sir. It appears to be the Pride of Chandrila and the Corvette Badger. Apparently, the Badger rammed a TIE Interceptor which was patrolling that area. The Badger has sustained minimal damage from the collision. Also, the two fighters you summoned are here...Mabak and Yaou." "Thank you, Lieutenant." Loor stared out the bridge viewport of the Proud Order and smiled. Not only had he been given command of an Imperial Star Destroyer with his last promotion, he had been given orders to set a trap for Rebel insurgents operating in this sector, an assignment he looked forward to. Admiral Nevit was onboard the Devil's Blood, the Interdictor Cruiser which had pulled the two Rebel ships from hyperspace. He thought it odd that the Admiral would pick a small Interdictor as his flag ship, instead of the Proud Order, but Admiral Nevit was known as a brilliant tactician and Loor did not question him. "Mabak and Yaou, this is Commodore Loor. Do not engage the Rebels. Proceed to the station and await further orders. This comes directly from Admiral Nevit. When we have disabled the Corvette, you will lead the capture of it. It contains valuable information." Loor thought it humorous that the Rebels would carry their research on a pitiful Corvette. Just like the scum to try to deceive us, he thought. "Commodore Loor, this is Admiral Nevit. Once the enemy fighters are neutralized, proceed with the capture of the Badger. The Pride of Chandrilla will be mine to deal with." Loor wondered how an Interdictor would deal with a Rebel cruiser by itself. Just then, an immense amount of fire erupted from the Devil's Blood. Much more than the usual firepower. So, that's why he chose the Interdictor as his flagship...it's heavily modified! Loor sighed and watched as the battle began.

Well, my goal is to get rich and build a castle, so when I do, you can come over and be the defender of the keep! Hey, if we didn't have unrealistic goals, we'd never get anything done! Take the projects we are working on here. Most would have thought some of the things we are doing are unrealistic, yet they are happening! Not only changing the models, but making them 100 times better than the originals, and making it easy enough for stupid people like me to do it!

If he did have a wife on Coruscant (which we know he had concubines), that would be the biggest reason to blow the planet to smithereens! Just kiddin' Hey, there could be a message that reads, the Emperor has returned to his asteroid belt!
-
I got it...sort of like a generator that you have to plug into the wall! We are a little bonkers in here...hey...what was the topic again? Ahhh...yes...the active members...well, apparently we have plenty of wise-acres that are active!

Hey, this cookie-trooper ain't wearin' no tutu!
-
Heck, these can be replaced with whatever! That's the good part! I personally will replace them all with Uglies...now there's a challenge!
-
They could be a "Mechanized Infantry Division". I agree with mask, what would the Imps be without AT-ATs?
-
I don't think he'd worry about the Palace...anybody that can build Death Stars and Super Star Destoyers can probably rebuild a Palace! And I don't think he would give a crap about any of the citizens of Imperial Center, either.

Hmmm...a handmade sword. Not impossible, but very, very difficult. I would think the toughest part would be finding a fire hot enough to work with the steel (finding that much steel would be hard enough!). Good luck on that, young Padawan. Once you're made your own sword, your training will be complete!

My Schwartz is bigger than yours... oh, wait, we're talking about sabers!

And a billion is a success...

You definitely have an active imagination, Jahled! The mere sound of the name instills fear, doesn't it? ISD Snowdrop

Quite so... Scanners are detecting the approach of three Star Destroyers, the ISD Daisy, ISD Primrose, and Super Star Destroyer Paisley!!! ~~Untimely shudders~~
