  1. FoC does read from the EaW xmls though...could be a priority bug? I know if you copy the FoC Map Editor files into a Mod folder (to make modded maps), it (mostly) only reads EaW's files, not FoCs...
  2. At last, another who doesn't follow the evil that Petroglyph initiated and many mods seem to follow. ;D
  3. some of those icons kinda...suck... the models are badass though...
  4. Maybe on a very low end computer or if there's tons of units being shown...on any decent or better computer it shouldn't matter...
  5. Yeah. We need a tutorial for scratch-skinning, lol.
  6. TGAs do have alpha channels. What they don't have are MIP maps. When you zoom out from units and such, the models switch to lower LODs, and the textures (when DDS) switch to lower-resolution MIPs. Since TGA doesn't have MIP map, then EaW/FoC has to (try to) render the whole texture even if the unit is little more than a speck on your screen.
  7. if someone wants to skin those models or give me a concept to make a new model, hehe... ;D
  8. Shiznit! *sends uber-ninjas in Evangelion units to get back my super secret diamond that was so secret even I didn't know I had it*
  9. Lol. I still don't get why people have these bugs, when I've never had one (except after modding)...
  10. I play fairly often...I love playing GC and trying out various corruption combinations...or fighting the corruption as Empire or Rebels with the shiny new units, hehe... ;D and orbital bombardment............
  11. That will require xml modding. Browsing through the unit files, it looks like at the very least Petro added bribe prices to every unit. As for Piracy, where it can be done as well as what units it unlocks is entirely controlled by Planets.xml. I've already made every ship and vehicle available through piracy (have to make more custom maps though, I'm just reusing stock ones atm). ;D
  12. yep *feverish attempts at xml continue...*
  13. Hey, sweet! I can use this, hehe... ;D
  14. original splash damage from the explosion. heat is still released and generated by the explosion when stuff is destroyed, it just dissipates rapidly.
  15. good find *ctrl+C* ;D
  16. actually I bribed him and an entire clan of lightsaber-wielding squirrels into my service...
  17. alas that coding makes me ??? while art comes easily, lol...meh. ;D
  18. Lol. Btw, if you check out the FoC Map Editor, you can take a closer look at the frozen Sith Troopers. There's also a frozen Sith Officer prop, and the big Sith statue in the tomb has the Star Forge insignia blatantly stamped in red on the front, hehe... KotOR tie-in for x-pack2... ;D
  19. Not pirate asteroid stations. The orbital construction stations can be used to build units once you capture them (MP only so far that I've seen...)
  20. close...i did have to fight a monkey and a penguin to get to my last test, but a walrus was also trying to kill me all week...
  21. damn brainless children, lol...nobody appreciates code... :-[
  22. thank you... ;D
  23. The WCM adds units, it does not add any gameplay elements whatsoever, which means it doesn't threaten TC mods like LoW in any way...to anyone with a brain at least... ;D
  24. b4, BWAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! college finals, what did u expect? ;D
  25. REBUUUUUUUUUUMP...i wanna see if he'd done anything more on those models, hehe...
