    Rap

    I was kidding! : Well, I don't like rap, but I hardly feel insulted. I'm gonna aput up a bunch of smilies for no apparent reason... ;D > :( ??? : :-[ :-\ :-* :'( ;D : :)
  2. The seismic charges were a modification made by Jango Fett, and were not part of the original design. So I disabled that in my version. I had four squadrons let em off all at once...destroyed an entire rebel fleet...mwahahahahahaaaa!!! *Ahem* Hmm, seem to have lost my cool there. So anyway, I decided they were too powerful and stripped away their precious harmonic bombs. That, and I can't seem to rescale them, and as it is the bombs are a good two and half times the size of my Firesprays.
  3. Considering the Emperor was an old Sith guy, it's no wonder that women were treated as inferiors. And of course, the Sith have been pretty anti-alien since the get-go. The only exceptions they ever made were in terms of particularly powerful alien Force sensitives.
  4. My Sith foresight pronounces that the Penguins shall pwn the Walruses after they are bestowed with all my Sithy powers...
  5. Silver-haired effeminate looking male actually (clone of a female, story plots too complex to bother explaining) named Kadaj from the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie.
  6. Good tutorial. I'm running off Gmax right now (freeware of 3DSMax, made by the developer) until I can get 3DS. This will be extremely helpful.
  7. You know, it's funny; I played the demo on KotOR II and absolutely hated this game. Then I rented it a month ago and LOVED it! Now I'm going to buy it once I reinflate my bank account (stupid car) and get BFME II...
  8. I made a buildable squadron of three Firespray's as an Imperial unit. So far, with my rescaling, they're almost impossible to hit, so I've gotta change their speed or something. Half the reason I posted is so I'll remember to do that when I log on tomorrow, 'cause I keep forgetting...
  9. A little late, but hey, whatever. My name's Jason, I'm 18, and I've been a Star Wars fan since probably pre-school or something...as long as I can remember basically. Live in good ol' California, and am an aspiring Game Art & Design student...hopefully. Now I take digital art and graphic design classes. Been modding for about two years, been playing games for eight, and love the RTS genre. I'm fairly new to modeling but hope to become decent at it, and I've been playing around with retexturing for a while, ever since I got photoshop. Hopeless at scripting/programming except when riding on the works of others. ;D Anyway, happy to be here, especially this early in the modding game! Oh, and I'm Pure Evil: I love the prequel trilogy...*evil laugh*
  10. ;D I like all caps. They're fun...besides, thought it'd bring it around to the original point. : Made in photoshop and imageready. The "Echani" you're talking about (I think) is Mandalore from KotOR II.
  11. That one is cool. The Doomgiver is ugly. To FoshJedi: No it's not, look like over-sized ISD hulls. The configuration isn't remotely similar to the Doomgiver.
  12. What about tracks like "Battle of the Heroes" and such?
  13. Dude, you just listed my fav PT tracks...lol. And I couldn't. Mod would be too big to put in the files. Plus, there's some KotOR tracks I haven't converted from WAV to MP3 yet...Though maybe if I winrarred it it might be small enough...
  14. Mostly, texturing. How do you do texture mapping. This question is mostly directed to LoW and IA II devs, but anyone who knows feel free to impart your wisdom. I'm an amateur modeler, but have no clue how to make texture maps.
  15. 1) Prequel era ships and factions (droid armies, clonetroopers, ARC-170 fighters, Jedi generals) 2) Support for more than two playable factions at once (kinda limiting on the modding aspect having it capped at two, since you have to replace an old faction to get your new one in) 3) Map/Mission/Campaign Editor 4) EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Lua Editor (these files can't be touched as it is) 5) Super Star Destroyer ;D 6) ALSO EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Model import program or something (to add new models in-game) 7) Ability to assign the textures used by units to have more variation in units used by multiple factions (instead of the auto-assign with the current version to one default texture). This way you could make different textures for units you put in multiple factions without them all looking relatively the same. Just some stuff I thought would make the game more interesting (1 and 5) and much more mod-friendly (all the rest). I think these are probably doable, and relatively simple (maybe, don't really know), yet very important for making better mods. Thanks for reading! ;D EDIT: OMG, almost forgot: make AT-ST strong against infantry or something, because it's completely useless as it is now. It gets slaughtered by Plex Soldiers and can't do good damage to anything except Anti-Infantry Turrets.
  16. *tents fingers like Mr. Burns* Excellent...
  17. I've already added all the music from all the movies (any that wasn't in there already, mostly ep III), music from KotOR, and some from Republic Commando. All my favorite music's from the prequel trilogy, sorry. The only original music that beats it for me is the Emperor's Throne Room and Imperial March tracks.
  18. The only real limit on size is dependent on how much junk is in the level (asteroids, nebulas, ships and such). A relatively empty level can be much larger than one with lots of stuff. The basic question is what's the limit for the Alamo engine?

    Rap

What an insult to Star Wars...I hate rap.
  20. Considering George Lucas is famous for working outside of Hollywood and denouncing it, it's not surprising that Hollywood would ignore his existence. Hollywood sucks.
  21. Who shot first, Han or Greedo?
  22. RATE ME!!! ;D
  23. Making maps in Battle for Middle-earth was easy. Making them playable was damn-near impossible.
  24. Because California is one of the main centers for computer technology. Anyway, thanks for the update Mike!
  25. Sweet. I'm gonna need one of those...all credit would go to the makers of LoW, obviously...
