  2. Change the combat music with Darth Vader to "Imperial March" in MusicEvents.xml. EDIT: Hmm, okay, never mind. You can't. You could probably script it in lua once we get a working editor from Petroglyph (I pray that they do give us one)...

After thorough testing, retesting, reretesting, prayer, consultation of oracles, demon summonings, and various other happenings, I've come to the dreadful conclusion that textures are hard-coded to models, and no amount of name-changing can change it...I'm going to go sulk in the corner now... Well, I'll keep trying to figure a way out before the mod tools come out, and at the very least I can stil set up units and textures, even though I may not be able to implement them yet...

  10. Sweet! Screw clonetroopers, these PenguinTroopers shall put all of them into retirement. Good work. I'm no good at building units from scratch. Thanks to JaiOwl as well.
  11. Wish my laptop could handle it...tried the demo, but nothing could be rendered in-game except units, buildings, and weather effects. My desktop's for gaming, but I really wish it was portable...
  12. Well, my method is more like a fake variant. But, it's actually an entirely new unit with the exact same properties and values as the original, but references a new model. My new unit, Star_Destroyer_Test references SITH_STARDESTROYER.ALO, which is a renamed copy of the original EV_STARDESTROYER.ALO. Theoretically, it should work creating a "variant" of the Star Destroyer with a new base texture. I won't be able to test it for another few hours though...

  14. Except zoom limitations, plus the fact that flowers on the ground are already half the size of your stormtroopers, is reason enough to scale up, not down.
  15. Those suck. The good bombers were in Battle for Naboo. Those were actually good droid bombers. The ones in Battlegrounds look really wierd, they're like flying boxes. The bombers from BFN fit the style of the other droid fighters better.
  16. Except fighter squadrons, no space units have companies, but it may be possible to create them.
  17. Oh, just remembered. There are Imperial Navytroopers in the game, there's just no unit for them. The models, textures, and animations are all in the game.
  18. Where's all the files? There's no Zaarin or anything. Just some unit and building changes...

  21. Computer. On a side note, I made an interesting discovery concerning build times/costs. For testing purposes, I originally changed the credit cost and build time of all units to 0. When I tried playing the game, I could build nothing. Later, I changed the time to 1 second and the cost to 10 credits, and I can build everything. Basically, don't set the values to zero or you can't build anything. This also seems to be true for Tech Level (on Empire, at least).
