  1. blast! lol will he ever? *looks at wildcat, only known animator...* lol maybe I will make a custom SD then...mwahahahaha...actually, I would either way, hehe
  2. don't put the ALA files in your EaW folder. only the ALO files.
  3. just test it after each change instead of making lots of changes then testing...I made the mistake of writing out the xml for most of a mod before testing it, and BAM, didn't work. I scrapped it b/c I didn't feel like searching through all the xml.
  4. I mean I copied them of the FoC demo and put them in the EaW folder. btw, models work just fine... http://www.agesofstarwars.com/pcw/images/gallery/3/EAW_20061007_16513895%20copy.jpg I believe that purple aura has something to do with the cloaking ability, but I'm not sure...
  5. I have to disagree. As an experiment I replaced all the EaW shaders with the ones from the FoC demo, and it ran just fine. I've also added the models and textures, both ran fine. I'm testing some animations now... Edit: ok, it's definite: the FoC anims are different. everything else is fine.
  6. Don't know how you figure that, but whatever. I agree with Mikan... :
  7. Just started college with a major in Game Art & Design (w00t!). I'm pretty sure I wanna do 3d modeling and texturing and stuff. It's so fun, lol. Can't wait to jump into the industry in three years... ;D
  8. yeah, petrolution is evil...and not the cool kind of evil...
  9. Ooh, cool. How do you do that? Just leave them in place when converting the model?
  10. zomg, Ssi-Ruuvi units, awesome!
  11. 1337...
  12. yeah, those work I guess...for the non-round glows anyway...although in FoC there are rectangular engine glows, so we could probably add proper engine glows to them once FoC comes out.
  13. you gonna put the Naboo fighter and Naboo bomber up for download? I'd love to have those... ;D
  14. well, I imagine that it'll probably have some changes to the exe and stuff in addition to changes in other files...my assumption is that EaW mods won't be compatible with FoC...then again, maybe the FoC files will be segregated in some way to allow for EaW mods to still work within FoC or something, idk...
  15. y wouldn't u use engine glows? ???
  16. oh, really? I thought someone did...well, i hope somebody figures it out... :-\
  17. The FoC demo installs into it's own directory entirely separate from Empire at War...
  18. I used to have almost 2000 posts! I was an Eternal Force Jedi Master! (hope that counts for something, lol ;D)... Anyways...the obvious... DARTH REVAN, mwahahahaahaha (renamed DragonShadow, so as to be more uber) Force Lightning and...Force Heal...hehe, ooh, evil... I can send in the model and junk...I could probably give you code for it too... btw, I'll give it a custom skin, and I may make my own custom space unit for it too...maybe...given time, lol...
  19. oooh, pretty, me want now, lol... ;D
  20. I agree with Ghostly on most points. Ergo Proxy I'd move to Average or Bad (I saw the premier thing at Anime Expo, and the whole audience was bored to tears, including me). Dragonball I'd stick in Bad. Period. Yu-Gi-Oh! I'd leave in Bad, but the Japanese version deserves to go in the Good category (since the American version was rewritten, cut down by around 30 episodes (including the entire first season), had guns edited to become Pointing Fingers of Death (go America!), turned anyone dying into having their souls taken away, etc. The original is much closer to the manga, which is better than the anime, and is a billion times better than the American version of the anime (ughhh). Oh, and pretty much all drawing styles in American animation suck (anything that's not American Dad, the Simpsons, Futurama, and Family, plus some movies). At least anime usually look relatively good.
  21. Pretty interesting way, to say the least...
  22. Nope. I am...but some aren't. Glad to see you've seen the light, Cheese. ;D While flawed, the game is still good. Mikan and AT-AT are more coders then gamers though, hehe.
  23. I'd like to avoid making a mod to play a map...
  24. lol, yes. but then I'd have to change all the speeds and junk, and change the scales for all the space props too...I've heard people have made the biggest size maps with no problem, and I want to know how they did it...
