  1. I was wondering, since it's a video project and we'll want to go for the "ooh, pretty" factor, do you think we could use the weapons graphics from Bailknight's Mod? He'd probably let us so long as we ask (and give credit of course). They do look a lot better than vanilla graphics, most noticeably on the missiles.
  2. That's what I usually do.
  3. lol ;D
  4. yeah, search eawfiles, tehre's a couple mods that add the ARC-170 (or at least gives you the model). Btw, I was thinking we might want to replace orignal EAW models with warlords equivalents, to make it look better...
  5. i could voice act, but I can't get my mic to work...
  6. I'm gonna make a custom SD if you want to use it...I can think of many ways for my character to acquire it (he's not Empire aligned...).
  7. Shadow arts! Yata! Anyway... Character Name: Jeres Val Profession: former Dark Jedi, Mercenary Age: 25 Background: Selected for training after the Jedi Purge, Jeres Val was trained from the beginning as a Dark Jedi to serve Emperor Palpatine and enforce the New Order. He was one of the skillful few who survived the Sith Lord's training programs, and was hardened as a powerful Dark Jedi. After several successful first missions for the Empire, Jeres became fully aware of how the Empire was built and maintained. His missions were simple assassinations of Palpatine's political enemies and others who showed discontent with the new Imperial doctrine. On his last mission as an Imperial assassin, Jeres Val was sent to find and eliminate a Jedi who had escaped the Purge. When he finally found the Jedi, he was struck by how different he was from Jeres' expectation. This Jedi was not a rebel or warmonger. He didn't even commit any crimes against the Empire. He was just hiding, trying to survive in a galaxy where he'd been betrayed. Jeres decided to learn from the Jedi instead of killing him. In the few short weeks Jeres was with the Jedi, he learned much about what it was to be a true Jedi, while keeping the Jedi's location secret. Unfortunately, an Imperial Intelligence agent discovered the Jedi's hiding place, and an assault was carried out in the dead of night. Jeres left the Empire after that, vowing to fight against the injustice and cruelty that it embodied. He became a mercenary for a short time, doing odd jobs to earn some credits to buy his own ship. Eventually, two years after the Battle of Yavin, he fell in with Borlov's "Freedom Hunters", and worked his way up to become Borlov's Lieutenant Colonel. Now he fights the Empire more actively alongside the soldiers of the Hunters...
  8. I can do modeling (ships or vehicles...anything that's not a living thing...), some skinning, and can record footage at maxed uber settings with absolute 0 lag...I can do a little xml coding too.
  9. I'd have to agree. I like things added, not taken away or replaced. I'd say my favorite part of Bailknight's mod is the new weapons graphics. They are absolutely superb, and give it a really beautiful cinematic quality. In one word..."prettyyyyyy...", lol ;D

  11. neat...I want in on this...
  12. I work in AutoCAD doing architectural-ish stuff for an HVAC company (part time, lol). I just started classes at the Art Institute of California - Orange County with a major in Game Art & Design...so I'll spend the rest of my working life doing...well, this. ;D
  13. Put them in the Models folder. That's all you need to know.
  14. That would be xml coding, not lua scripting.
  15. Seems like good gameplay will be possible with other players on the map... No lag, graphics aren't all that magnificent, but they don't suck...lots of static when the Titans explode, sound seems fine other than that, hehe. I want grenades though...
  16. In the FoC demo, the cinematic camera seems to be improved over the original...or I might be delirious, who knows...
  17. As long as you keep your mods in the Mods folder, then the FoC expansion won't mess with any of them.
  18. Perhaps they're concentrating on completing their mod instead of vying for publicity... :
  19. Dang...I'd have liked to try it out, especially since I got my new comp and can play land maps lag-free finally, lol. oh well...
  20. Mike strikes again! ;D Awesome tool man, many thumbs up...
  21. @ Exar... SPOILERS!!! dude, the Yuuzhan Vong were cut off from the Force (just like the Jedi Exile and others throughout SW history) by their homeworld (progenitor of Zonama Sekot). get your facts straight b4 you go making loony statements, lol. ;D
  22. i have to agree with fortune faded...
  23. worked fine for me...no problems whatsoever, lol.
  24. mwaahahahhaha! not even death can keep me away! ;D
  25. I'd go with Endar Spire...maybe someone else could use the Ebon Hawk, or we could just ask Mikan to throw it in for kicks... ;D
