  1. You can easily find hundreds of imperial ship models on the web. It's a lot harder to find these types of models. Personally, I appreciate this pack a lot.
  2. Mine's an XPS 700...the entire computer was designed to put the least stress on the fan, and it has one of the best running fans you can get...runs silent no matter what I put it through, lol.

  7. Well, good luck, lol. For me it's never seemed to work properly unless I changed both by the same ratio (50%, 200%, whatever).

  9. Umm, no. The shadowclaw is what Petroglyph calls the Barloz freighters in EaW. They can be unlocked through some xml tweaking.

  11. I have a similar idea to this for my personal mod, except it's more like, whoever controls Mon Calamari can build MC ships, whoever controls Kuat, Fondor, Sluis Van, etc. can build SDs. Corellian ships can only be built on Corellia. That kind of thing. Also recruitable indigenous units. ;D
  12. That's been my opinion...and why I remove it from mods I play...it's just weird, lol.
  13. Do a search for FOW in the xml files for the unit, it'll be in there somewhere. I forget which entry.
  14. Scale Factor determines the size of effects (engine glows, lasers, etc.) : trust me, I've experimented A LOT with this. the reason the values are different is because the base models are of different actual sizes when they were made.

  17. It's a unit ability, which is hard-coded into the exe. So no, it can't be ported. the effects and stuff, probably, but not the actual ability.
  18. Firstly...WOW... : These entries are completely unrelated. Population value is, obviously, population value. Size value determines the physical size of the unit's models in-game.
  19. LoW's been moved to FoC. They're going to release a mod for EaW then move everything over to the new, better EaW:FoC. And to repeat what's already been said, the models in LoW are better than much what's out right now. SAU's High Detail mod looks great (better than LoW even), but I doubt it will change much aside from the aesthetics.

  22. Low detail? Who would want to play this game on low detail? On the lowest settings it's worse than SWGB...high res ftw, lol. And if you can't play on high detail, get a new rig...as my Game Design teacher says, "they can charge high prices for games and hardware, because they'll know we'll pay for it", lol.
