Funny, but true. How has our society become this messed up?

Tiki Monkey....yeah, I noticed. *shakes head*

1. Mikan: Can get a little crazy at times, but who doesn't? I dunno if he has the leadership we are looking for, but if we give him the power and it doesn't work, we can always take it away. 2. SWGbex: Good guy. That's all I gotta say. 3. Droid: Dunno too much about droid. I think he is more in the modding section, which is not my territory. (or at least I don't venture there. It's too dangerous) 4. Cheese: The motive is questionable. He thinks some of us abuse our power. First off: Do we really? And secondly, what will he do differently than us if he thinks we are so bad? Note: I do not have any personal problems with these people and any opinions that I write towards someone should not cause them to hate me. Whoever gets voted, I will support them when they get in office. We should try and get Garbageben(or whatever his name is now)to become a moderator. He's been here a long time and deserves it.

Great name....Tiki Monkey. : We were just talking in the Maw about how the forums will be fine as long as the Tiki Monkey doesn't come back(speaking of Fosh's avatar/personality). Is this a sign? (jk) @Raiden: Are these going to be regular deals? If so, for how long?

The AoE and BFME games in general are in. I think there are enough people here that play them(some didn't vote)for interesting discussions to be brought up on them.

You're right. There are some movies that are good like 300 and upcoming movies like POTC III, Spiderman III, Shrek III(questionable)look promising. Who knows? This just gives more opportunity for young people to come up and have good ideas that will be made into movies because film makers are so desperate.

I see what you guys are saying. There are many similarities, but it is just an archetype. A hero quest archetype among other things. Many stories fill this archetype exactly, not just SW and Eragon. And I think that the movie was a pathetic representation of the book and should not have been made. It got rid of all subplots and did not introduce most of the minor characters, people that become important in the second book.

Guys....please. Get back on topic. I believe it was about new unit ideas: Cool new units would be all the stuff from EU. Like all the wings(K-Wing bombers, V-Wing airspeeders, B-Wing, E-Wing, etc.) Also improved versions of Mon Cals would be nice.(like the MC-B357 or whatever they're called) That's my $0.02 for now.

And Star Wars is a rip off of LOTR...come on people. It really doesn't matter anymore. Everything is ripped off of something else if you look hard enough. Authors do that on purpose! (not plagerizing and completely taking ideas from intentionally, but using things called allusions. Look the word up if you want to know what it means) Allusions are a huge part of literature. That does not mean it is a rip off of something.

The colors we have right now are fine, but whatever you think would work I'm sure is fine.

Alrighty then...I'm thinking that we should revote a few games from earlier(and a few new ones): AoE games BFME games All console LOTR games(movie games and others, grouped into one section. Yeah...we need to keep that thing locked up. It comes out when bad things happen, like when Fosh(Raiden), GS, and others "took a break", and then came back and there was mass chaos. I'm glad that we don't have trolls and spammers now that drive the good people away anymore. Now we just have lack of new posts(note: We are doing better than before. The new game threads and subforums are doing pretty well)

Has anyone else read the books or seen the movies? I think that Christopher Pialoni(sp?) did a fantastic job with the books for being as young as he is(19 when he published it). I think that the movie didn't do the book justice and destroyed every subplot in the book, to briefly describe it. I'm excited for the 3rd book in the Inheritance Triology(Eragon books)which will feature a green dragon on the front cover. (I think it's gonna be Roran that's the 3rd Dragon Rider because as I think we will discover, he has king's blood in his veins...that's what I am guessing, but who knows(besides the author)guess we'll just have to wait) What are your thoughts/comments/concerns/questions/predictions about these books(or the movie)

@GAT: I applaud you on your efforts and agree with you 101.267%. Also, the banners are a great start. Now we just need to get going with the publicity. I know of a really good site involving mostly PC games that might have some members that would want to join here. It was founded by a guy, Nick, that was booted from his administrative position at Middle Earth Vault forums by IGN, who replaced him with a not as cool guy who banned all of Nick's supporters. Anywho...I'll see what I can do there. @Popcorn: Cookies!!! Now that's rekindling an old flame in my bones that hasn't been there for a long, long time...

Do you have any mods for the game currently? Have you messed with the coding for the game at all? If you answer yes to either of these, then that's probably where your problem lies. If no, then either reinstall(a big pain, I know), try again, clean the disks, make sure all the folders for EAW are in the proper place, contact Petro support or LA, or hit your computer with a hammer.

Why did Popcorn2008 get demoted?
