Imperial Remnant is when there is relative peace between the Republic and the Imperials. (when Palleon is in control up until the Yuuzhan Vong invasion) Rise of the New Republic goes from after Episode 6 until Palleon surrenders.

Yeah...it would be cool to make up a smuggler type person(a powerful one like Talon Karrde)who has a large amount of reasources and contacts and gets discovered by the Empire that he is leaking info to the Rebels. One of the warlords could go after him and then a battle would take place. Or we could do something completely different. I don't really care. I would like to do something with the new Jedi Council though. Kyle Katarn, Kyp Durron, Corran Horn, Luke, Mara(dead), Saba, Cighal, and whoever else is on it. They are all really cool and it would be fun writing a story about them. They will figure out that Jacen killed Mara and hunt him down and get attacked by the GAG and become wanted.

At the end of Book Five, Sacrifice, sounds good. So what our story is coming after is: Mara killed by Jacen. No one else knows that Jacen is the killer. Lumiya is killed by Luke, who thinks she killed Mara. Jacen is co-Chief of State. Jedi Council suspicious of Jacen. Boba Fett adds 30 years to his life expectancy. Mandalore has a huge supply of the most powerful metal in the galaxy. Correlian governor assassinated(starts with a G) Cal Omas arrested by GAG. GAG gains a lot of power over Senate through bill.

Yeah, sorry about not finishing that first post. Kind of forgot about it. Got distracted and then deleted the thought and missed the I. Oops... Anywho...what I was gonna say is that I would like to have a story take place during the Legacy of the Force timeperiod. That way if we don't like the ending that the actual people write, we will have our own one. But I really don't care what timeperiod. About the editors...I will be one.

I think it is time that we combine our talents to make a joint work here at PFF. Each person who wants to can write a chapter or a few chapters. The chapters do not have to be right in a row. Someone could write the second and third chapters and then after the next few are written, write the seventh one. Alright so first we need to come up with a topic. It will be a Star Wars story, but what time period should we do it in. I

Don't Make It Boring! Use fun words like destruction, deranged, utterly, annihilation, abomination, scum, void, vehemously, decaying, brandish, vengence, etc. when writing. You could write "Everyone died." That would be very boring though. You could change it to something like "The utter destruction of those present at the battle made the world void of life and decaying. A cry of vengence rose up among the populous of the surrounding planets and an effort began to annihilate the abomination that ruthlessly disposed of an entire planet's citizens."

Since no one else is responding, I'm gonna double post. ;D 1. I think nominations in the Maw will be enough. 2. A subforum would be fantastic. 3. Everyone see it, but do the nominations in the Maw unless we get complaints. Does anyone else agree/disagree? Is anyone still around in the Maw?

@GS: I would be, but my CD drive isn't working and my graphics card has definately seen its better days. But hopefully I can get both of those fixed/replaced and then it can be EAW time once more. Huzzah!

I agree Empireftw. Jacen and the GAG will end up killing off most of the Jedi. Whether or not Ben will be assumed dead, like Anakin Skywalker, or will just be missing, who knows? But I think we might see the end of some of our favorite characters. Hopefully they will die in some huge fight and not in five seconds like in Episode III.

My prediction: Luke is next. He's gonna go after Jacen and then somehow get hit by a poison dart and die. I think that all these people will die sometime in the series: Luke, Ben, Jacen, Kyp, Kyle Katarn, Leia, Luke, Jacen, Cal Omas, Corran Horn, Admiral N.(whatever her name is), Lumiya(by Luke already), any other main Jedi, Han, Leia, possibly Wedge Antilles. They're just gonna have fun and kill everyone off. Everyone. Jacen's gonna have the military and GAG hunt down the Jedi.

Dantooine was kind of boring, but it had it's interesting moments. There are a lot of side quests that I like there and I have fun switching up my party members and shootin' up some of those lion things.

I was thinking that we should nominate the active members in a "second batch" after those that have left are inducted. A few questions before we get to that point: 1.Should we have the Hall be based off of votes from all the forumgoers(I.E. in the Bar) from a poll in the Maw, or purely by recommendations here? I could start a seperate thread to talk about each nominated member. 2.Could we make a subforum for the Hall of Fame? 3.If we do, do we want everyone to see it at the start, or vote and then let everyone see it? I know all of y'all(I sound like a Texan....git-er-dun)want to nominate yourselves, and that's a good thing. We'll wait on that for a bit until we get this stuff straightened out. But in the meantime you could make a resume so to speak for yourself. What have you done, how long, what good topics started, what good topics that you kept going, good discussions you were a part of, why you are still here, etc.

Alright...let me see if I am understanding this correctly. This Ship Master comes out of Slipspace(Hyperspace)in the middle of a huge pile of debris that actually used to be ships. And so the Ship Master has found what he is looking for. A few suggestions/comments: Aren't holes in a ship bad? Shouldn't that get fixed? Make sure you introduce your character, the ship, the setting, and whatnot in the next few paragraphs so it all makes sense. Why are they there? Why are they looking for the ship? Who is Ship Master Cyco 'Camalee? What is his experience? Why is his ship purple(is it a Ghost)? What is the name of his ship(if it has one)? Just questions to think about over the next paragraphs. It is a good idea for a story. I look forward to the next sections. (you can post more than one paragraph at a time if you want) ;D

Here's a big tip to fan fic writers: Develop your characters! They are the heart and soul of your story. Introduce them, giving the readers their name, nicknames(if relevent), experience, height, build, gender, species(if there are more than humans in the story), and other physical descriptions. You might want to take a little jump to the past and talk about one of their finest missions or accomplishments in order for the reader to better know the character. Make sure to include the general emotions of the character: Is he/she generally mad, sad, depressed, happy or do they have an infamous temper? Things like that will make a great description. Once you have introduced the character, go back into the action and make sure to show some of the characteristics you mentioned earlier. The character's height could be a detriment to his/her disguise, or maybe their species and gender make it hard to blend in. The character's ruthless nature and bad temper could result in him/her killing someone that a more compassionate person would have had arrested. Now build on these charcteristics. Will an event(like witnessing a genocide)make the character more compassionate? Or will the death of a close friend drive him/her to bloody revenge and execution? Sometimes characters struggle to overcome their flaws, and othertimes they grow to see them not as flaws, but as weapons to gain more power. Sometimes youth can be a big barrier that one must overcome. Proving oneself to your superiors is always a good route to go in order to develop the characters. Perhaps your character is so driven to succeed that he/she will stop at nothing, including murder, to obtain respect and a promotion. It is up for you as the author to decide how to develop your characters, but please do not just have them stay the same throughout the story. Most minor character remain static(the same)throughout the story, but that does not have to be true for yours. A minor character could have a change of heart and help the main character out in a tough spot. That could be an enemy soldier that gives the main character a key to the enemy fortress or to a weapons storage room. It's up for you to decide. Make sure your main character changes from the beginning to the end. Some characteristic or flaw or something should be developed, changed, or realized by the end(hopefully). If all else fails, at least make the story exciting.

And that's a good thing? (jk) All joking aside, I do think that Vader89 did a bit for the forums. I would agree with the nomination. That's just what I was thinking. Tripod... They do look like they will be extremely effective against infantry, considering that any they kill will be turned into mutant slaves. Does that include infantry heroes?
