Nope, you wont find Lucasarts on everything star wars. What you are thinking of is Lucasfilm LTD. They are the ones that control everything star wars (as well as Indiana Jones and a few others). There are divisons inside of Lucasfilm such as Lucasarts (video games), Lucas Licensing (Toys), and Lucas Books (of course, books). Now they all run and make their own decisions for the most part, usually have other companies do most the stuff (Hasbro and Del Rey). Rarely do they have to get every little thing approved by Lucasfilm LTD (that is what the divisions are for), they just put the stamp of approval on it. Everything clearer?

Lucasarts is strictly video games, not books and other star wars material. They both have their approval boards. Lucasarts approves what is put in the games. A panel under Lucas decides what can be put into books. For the most part stuff is made up for the video games and books, but Lucasarts and the panel get final say in what makes it in.

Yea, but why would you want to take out your best prospect for a new game in a series and make it an expansion? You don't make a civil war game and then come out with the WWI expansion.

How may times do I have to say it, where does the Clone Wars fit into Empire at War? lol Even Delphi has recognized this, it doesn't have to do with the timeline the game is in. The devs have also mentioned they want to make a series out of the Star Wars saga. I doubt they would want to wrap most of it into one full game and an expansion. They want it to be a multiple game series. The Clone wars era would be much better done as a full game then as an expansion, an expansion would not be able to include everything.

Just depends how you like to spend your money. Playing with a group of friends in an online community can be a lot of fun. And like I said, it isn't that much per month, want to know how much paying for gas costs me in a year? I only upgrade my computer when I need to, I don't like upgrading it constantly when some new hardware comes out, because what is the point, it is just going to be outdated in a few months by the new model.

Lol, and when lucasarts does it is not making up their own stuff? Most the time the books have to go through a tougher approval, because they are considered a higher form of canon (except with maybe KOTOR, but I don't put to much into that because their are multiple outcomes making a specific history tough). Lucasarts for the most part is the approval process for games made about star wars, I believe the only time they need to get approval from lucas is when they may run across something that may conflict with a future lucas project.

There would be enough units there that I think would satisfy us. What I think most of us want to see are more features. I know I would much rather see new features than the focus going to just a bunch of clone wars units and planets that we will get our fill from in expansions. EDIT: And lets not forget the 60 models delphi said were cut be LEC from the game. That is probably considered money in the bank for a new expansion. And what do you mean some new planets? There are literally hundreds still to put in, included the epIII ones (which delphi has hinted at Mustafar being in)

As I have said before, as long as all units don't automatically update to the new unit I would be fine with it (I hate games that automatically update the units) I also think since the outer rim planets should be of lower value to you, they should be reinforced with the older units since you should be reinforcing the core with the new stuff. Of course thats not really how the game works, but it would be very star warsish. Not that I hate the PT, just a clone wars expansion doesn't fit the EAW timeline. I am sure there will be Republic at War down the line, but right now with this game I would rather have the timeline move forward and add things to it, then an entirely different campaign and story with nothing connecting.

Its not that much money. To pay for a month of it is a little more than an hour of my work. Playing 4 months of it is equivlant too getting a new game every 4 months (and I am sure most of us do that) and if you play a good enough one you will get a lot of new content in that time that will allow for a new play experience.

As long as it is not a strictly clone wars expansion I will be happy, but from what I have heard it doesn't sound like it wil be with hints of the tie interceptor and Dathomir.

In my opinion jedi should only be NPCs period. If you did the roll of the die thing then the people who got it would just end up selling their accounts for thousands and thousands of dollars. So the only people playing jedi would be the wealthy pretty much.

I don't think there was a doubt in any of our minds that there was going to be an expansion. Now to just hope for the features that we want make it in, like diplomacy and create a hero.

Haha, Michigan is anything but tropical, we pretty much have the same climate as ontario, but our weather does change rapidly. We our often trapped between two fronts. I remember last April we had 80 (F) degees one week and by the end of the week it was snowing

Looked at today's update. The nova looks like the neck may be a bit too long and the mon cal crusiers need more detail (but like you said, mon cal crusiers don't have much detail). But other than that, excellent, can't wait for this mod to come out.

Michigan is pretty safe. Occasional tornado every few years, only remember one earthquake years ago and it was a tiny one. Once in a while a snow storm. Other than that it is pretty tame. Well except for a couple weeks ago when we had a snow storm, during the day temps went up to 50 and had a tornado watch and thunderstorms, and then it feel back below freezing and it started snowing again.

Hmmm getting rid of the Tartan completely? Not even using it as old tech. Alrite I guess, have grown to like it a bit more. It is the broadside I can't stand.

Looks good. The Strike cruiser looks a bit iffy, but sure it will look great once it is skinned.

They are called black sun. But they don't remind me much of them. Their fighters look more huttish, they should be flying starvipers.

Yea, and not even heroes don't have experience. That would even be a plus. Luke gaining experience through the jedi ranks would be fun, as well as with mara jade. And I don't know about you, but I can keep an ISD an At-At a mighty long time. Units like this should definitely have experience. Also with units gaining experience maybe they wont die so quick. I would like improved armor, weapons and shields. Would definitely add a more customizable aspect to the game that is lacking.
