Being spread out can be advantagous. Sending even 1 construction yard to places across the galaxy, and in a couple hundred turns, u have the entire sector under your control. Send out any medium transports out, to servey system by system. if u find planets that have large capasity, land a troop regiment, then send a couple construction yards over. To gain a foot hold, send out diplomats. good idea is to concentrate them in one sector, if u want it raelly badly. i like to fan out. have mon monthma, luke and leia recruiting. the empire usually has a great many planets that support u, but are garrisoned. to take em over, use my last suggstion about sabatures. Hand and chewie can be very usefull...

yeah i know. but it seems along with the mc 80 a and b, there were names for those classes, dictating looks. I've read so much contradicting and info thrown allll over the net. I really hope they make some offical names and stats and class to put an end to that, it's confusing lol.

Sabotage is a wonderful tool. What's really fun is in the beginning, to load say a corvette or some other light ship, take it to a plannet u wanna slow down or destroy production. have 1 main character that's good with espionage and sabotage. 2 is better. with 2 minor buildable espionage and sabotage guys. Say that pretty rebel planet has 2 shield gens and good production, but is ready to declare if u kill off the troops on the planet. it's simple. u sabotage the garasoned guys. ooorrrr u take out the shield gens, and have a small fleet ready. Note that when u set up for a sabotage mission, u have the option to make decoys. for good effectiveness, have 1 major hero as decoy, and 1 running the show. with 1 or 2 working with each decoy and the main guy as well. Great thing about having a ship over the planet is that u dont' have to do espionage every time to see if anything's changed, and the system is blocaded.

Good rule of thumb, is any really good production planets should have 2 shield gens. Unless u have a big huge fleet that's dedicated to protecting it I'll have to find the link, but there's a thing called rebed. What u can do, is make everything cost 1/3 less, or however u like. i like doing that, cause the comp will build the same, but build more of em, and things are built faster. Might be in the rebellion section in master of games- which we should probably move this line of convo to, lol.

Wow, space stations are wicked! I'd love to see what a Lvl 5 would be capable of. Did they have any weaknessness, like would fighters have a slight advantage? But they're so small, it'd probably take forever to pick a station appart.. Oh, and as long as a space station is there, is it capeable of stoping ships from landing on the planet? Like say, if your fleet is gone, and the enemy fleet is there, but your space station is still up, would they be able to land? Or do they have to blow up the station. I also saw some smaller weapon platforms in those new vids. Are they a first step to building a station, or are they just part of what u can choose to buildin system?

Since missions in the game will play a large part, perhaps u can do a "quest" where in u have to rescue Ackbar. Once u have, he becomes a hero. It'd be a bonus if u could attach him to Home One to get even more bonus'

An interesting question u pose. I worry it may be an oversight. In one of the Demos, u have Star Destroyers protecting land transports. This either indicates that the troop transports can't be docked on capital ships, making them completely vonerable all the time, Or there's a period of time it takes to load em up with troops, then dock with capital ships, requiring a no battle zone for them to dock. Maybe it's like u thought too. I wonder how it's gonna work. Perhaps for ballancing issues, they'll make troop ships "vonderable" to make playing more difficult. I hope they can be docked on capitals, then they can launches, and only briefly vonderalbe as they head to the planet, in which time rebels can attack with fighters, or vice versa.
