Yeah i think your right. Besides, by the time the demo is launched, they will have released 95% of units, ships, and planets. So they'd probably wanna give us fans some new content to play around with, to get really excited about the full game

Your right, they will take damage Phantom. That's all part of the gamble. Would your opponent be crazy enough to do it? If they did, would they doom themselves? And i can't remember, but i think i read some where that the damage a ship takes in an asteroid belt is relitive to it's size, so smaller ships could get through with less damage.

I don't do too much mulitplayer online, but when I do, especially for EaW, I'd like to join u guys in havin some fun.

Snes: -Chrono Trigger I loved this game so much, my first real rpg. U could go back and forth through time, change history, lot's of endings, lot's of lvls, team techniques. -Final Fantasy 3 Here's another amazing rpg, very diverse, lot's of special weapons, and customizable characters. The way u learnt magic was really cool. Great monsters and battles. Great story too. -Rock n Roll racing How cool was this game? Driving around in cars, blowing ppl up while u race. Need i say more? N64 -Golden eye 007 Best shooter of it's time! I think a lot of us remember great times in multiplayer with friends. With such fond memories as the temple, facility, walkin around, then all of a sudden dead, then cursing eachother, hahaha good times PC -Star Craft The first true RTS i ever played, gotta love it. Perfectly ballanced, 3 races, tones of action, lot's of great mods, i still sometimes play it -SW Rebellion A classic. Great turn based sw stratagy game that we all know and love, i've had it for years, still play it. -Quake 3 One of the funnest shooters i ever played. Had some amazing mods like uban terror. Many curses and a couple lan parties, and lot's of fun haha. -Battlefield 1942 I loved how u could comandere planes and ships and tanks, and blow ppl up, how fun is that? -Birth of the Federation Fun turn based star trek game. Had a lot of potential. I just didn't like how stupid the ai was. But still fleets of soverins and defiants= fun -Metal of honor Another fun shooter, had a realistic feel to it -Hegemonia Not many ppl talk about this space rts. I liked it a lot, controling planets, interspace trade ships and building and planatary defences, planatary building, ships gained expereance, and there was a good research tree. Spy's were kinda ubber though hahaha. I beat the game once with 1 of my best spys, blowing up the mission objective. It even had recruitable hero's! I hope they make a sequal! Had an interesting story too. -Homeworld 1&2 Always fun. First rts space strat. I havn't overly played these ones, sometimes i don't have the patience for the very odd 3d plain movements, but very very fun and realistic. I just wish it had more resources, haha. That's all i can think of for now

Hmmm the "enemy you know" might be an effective way to deal with him. just for that reason, if we know who he is, we can keep an eye on him

Oh, i do wonder if they're brothers. I mean how easy is it to play split personalities? The same gay link fobdo used in the bar, hanokan used in the general discution area. I edited it out, but it is a connection that they could be one and the same

Yeah i hear ya man. The Mon Cal's had the right idea with there ships, all internal, hard to knock out.

And we could use some common sence. Watching ROTJ, when the fighter kills one of those domes, the next shot goes inside the bridge, and we hear the quote, "Sir, we've lost our bridge deflector shield!" "Intensify the forward batteries, I don't want anything to get through!"

I remember reading in one of the books, where a carack cruiser while under attack, diverted power to it's shields, the officer in charge of the shields even diverted power from the anti grav plating, to keep the sheilds online. I can't remember which book. Maybe the one with the si rook?

Or the ship is of Mon Cal design, and has dedicated back up shield gens

Ahhhh yes, good old Dreadnaughts. They're pretty awesome man. They love to squish enemy infantry a lot, lol. Then there is the smaller hellfire dreadnaugh that's all machine guns and missle launchers and laser cannons! And if u like the dreadnaughs, u should see the hell spawn and Avatar... I didn't know much about warhammer 40k but a friend i play with is ubber into it, and here's the low down. Space marines are geneticlly engenered perfect soldiers that do the bidding of the Emperor of mankind, who's in stasis. The ork have spread like the plague across the galaxy. Then there is Chaos. They used to be Space marines untill the Deamons twisted them to there will. Now they are evil. The Eldar are some other race, considered to be evil by the space marines, but for them, everyone is a heritic who isn't human. They don't like chaos or the space marines. U don't get to play the IG or Imperial guard much in the origional, but they are the back bone of Human military, the front lines. Where the space marines are special foreces, the IG protect most of mankind. I'm sure my friend could give this too u in great detail, but it kinda gives u an idea of what's goin on.

Wasn't he the only jedi that had his own light side version of force lightning called the judgement bolt? That's pretty cool in itself. Too bad we didn't get to see him use it in the movie.

It would be nice if there were a few gens representing each shield arc. but let's be realistic. From what i've seen from the vids, it's just 1 big shield bar, then hull. Maybe they did more, we don't know.
