Oh, it´s been quite a while, but I haven´t been that lazy. Ya. Since the last european championship, which they have won, the Greeks didn´t show their old class anymore. Today Germany played versus Croatia and lost 2:1. I dunno what happened. They played so bad today it was unbelievable and almost not watchable. Let´s hope the best that they will win the game versus Austria in a couple of days.

I´ve heard that there are still hard feelings especially around the older people in Hungary, because of the lost world championship against Germany. Is that still the case? Last evenings match Netherlands vs. Italy was the most exciting in the whole championship so far. IMO the Netherlands have the strongest team of the whole contest. But everybody can have a bad day.

I won´t change my hairdo for any kind of job never ever again. Especially not for such a sucky job like that mentioned by you, Tofu. Like I´ve just mentioned above, people are willing today to accept bankers with piercings in their face so why not people with long hair? Leave such kind of bad jobs behind, especially when you have to work that hard for just a bit of money. Lifting such kind of heavy weights all day would harm your back seriously and you would probably have to suffer all your life for that. I had to do such a kind of job after leaving school and being an apprentice and my back looks terrible nowadays. Try rather something like delivering the newspapers. BTW if you keep your hair growing you allways can wear it as a pony-tail. That way you would also look acceptable in the eyes of those conservative folk.

Got to point out that such kind of bad weather never occured here before in such an amount.

No, he and the whole swiss team hadn´t deserved that. Allthough he was their strongest player, it could be that some hidden powers could be now released to win at least the next two upcoming matches. Last evenings match Germany vs. Poland went really well. 2:0 for our team. It was a great and exciting match and I´m sure there´s more to come. The match France vs. Romania just ended and it was quite boring and ended 0:0. The next one will start in about 30 minutes, Netherlands vs. Italy. Two soccer giants against each other. I´m exited about that match, because I feel that it could be one of the most interesting matches of the whole cup.

It´s kinda sad that after all that 68s thing people still don´t accept longer hair. While on the other side somebody, especially women, with a piercing in her face, gets more acceptance and even a job in a bank than a guy with long hair. Thumbs up for the interview, Tofu! One thing to add: hair grows!

So finally the cat is out of the box. Hillary gave up. Now the race is between McCain and Obama. From the european view that could be interesting. Although being a republican, McCain isn´t counted to the Bush-Pack and so I think that most europeans would feel ok with him being a possible president. What belongs to Obama, there´s a feeling that he could bring some kind of fresh air to the White House and the whole US american politics. Also the tandem with Edwards as vice-president is an interesting combination. Because it´s not known over here if they are connected in any kind of way to the oil or war industry. Are they? It hasn´t been covered in the media here.

Yesterday the Soccer Eurocup has started, which is taking place in Swiss and Austria. The Swiss lost their center player and also lost the match 0:1 against the Czech Republic. After that there was a match Portugal vs. Turkey in Mad´s own city Geneva, which Portugal won 2:0.

Well she always had a strategie and of course she may be anything, but not dumb.

The original "Dawn of the Dead" also belongs to my all time favs. The feeling this movie provides is still actual today, because it had a meaning. In "Night of the Living Dead" the Zombies are an equivalent to the survivors of a nuclear holocaust. In "Dawn of the Dead" they are victims of consumption. That´s because the whole movie plays in a mall. Those Zombies recemble people who go into a mall for one single aim - to consume. Unfortunately its remake lacked of such kind of feeling. Well it tried to have some, but it got lost somewhere in all those violent orgies. Ok, they tried to do it a bit better in "Land of the Dead", where they portraied todays capitalism. But it still wasn´t that succesfull in providing a strong feeling you get when watching a real good movie. @Rob and Tofu Thanks for the explanations. That sounds funny. But in which way did that spaghetti monster helped you avoiding to go to the cinema with the Misses to see "Sex and the City", Rob?
