There are rumours about backengineering and/or advanced crafts which already use a new developed propulsion system. Just think about that the F-117 Stealth Fighter has just been retired. I believe they wouldnt do that if they wouldnt already have a more advanced follow up model. Just think about that thing has been developed in the 70s! What do they have now???

We were talking Best of PC 2006, I think, but X-wing was still in best of PC 1996, I think. I remember playing it and thinking that it was the most awesome thing ever at the time. In fact, I still think that was one of the most awesome games ever. Had it featured TIE Fighter's ability to see how damaged your enemy's shield/hull was, it would be golden. We really need another flight simulator game for the PC. It's high time the joystick made a comeback! I fear that this is a no go since Larry Holland left. Cant imaging how another controller configuration could make Battlefront more exciting. Battlefront is nice but its fast-food IMO. Also never played it online. Not sure if there are any servers left.

Saw "Diary of the Dead" by Georg Romero recently. The gore FX were over the top, but story and acting was absolutely disappointing. A filmcrew is out in the woods to film a horror-flic while in the rest of the world a zombie-plague is breaking loose. The whole movie is filmed in the "Blair Witch Project" first person view. Not very convincing and also not very original IMO. Well I guess its ok to enjoy it with a six-pack beside you.

That story about the meteor is an old story. It has been discovered at about 1994/95 and pushed NASAs plans sending a probe to Mars forward. Which they finally did than back in 1997 as we all know. While we are still asuming if some kind of primitive bacteria may exists somewhere out there in space someone else is coming forward with some other more important facts. Well not really someone else. It´s Edgar Mitchell former Apollo astronaut and the sixth man who was walking on the moon. Which he did for over nine hours which is record. His space suit can be seen in the Transport Museum in Lucerne btw (hint for Mad ). In a radio interview for Kerang radio he stated yesterday that we are not alone and that Earth has been visited several times by beings from outer space.
