  1. Eh?! What´s that, Rob? http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/konfus/a035.gif
  2. Looks like the NHL is also infested with incest like the european soccer leagues. We also got on the other side american players and trainers for our ice-hockey, baseball and american football teams (The last two mentioned aren´t as popular as the first mentioned over here. But we´ll see what the future brings.). Than there are german players like fe. Dirk Nowitzki playing for american teams. Sounds highly incestous to me. That´s why I prefer championships country vs coutry like the world championships. So every country has its own team consisting of their own elite players. While on the other hand those club-teams depend on how rich they are and able to buy high ranking players. So most times the richest clubs win the championships. That´s not very interesting IMO.
  3. They are used for mining brown coal which is mostly located just a couple of meters under the surface. Lots of that brown coal can be found in the Ruhr district. BTW don´t want to be the party pooper, but some of your motivational posters show people who aren´t that beautiful and the underline makes jokes about that. It´s not that I havent got any sense of humour nor that I think about myself looking ugly, but I do feel that the internet is a good place to judge people about how they do act, by their heart and soul and not by their appearance. Just a side note. Now back to topic again.
  4. Yab, yab! Finally somebody who´s not into the Jawa language.
  5. @Mad Very cool! Oh, no! He´s dancing again! http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/musik/e050.gif About scale models. They´re also quite decent: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=lujKp7O6XrY& Edit: Happy 4th July to all the US guys around here!
  6. Happy Birthday, lordtrychon! All the best and have a nice day! http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/musik/h025.gif
  7. Like Tex explained, a bucket-wheel excavator. There are lots of them around here in the Ruhr district and are used for coal-mining. Sometimes they have to move those giants to another mining-field many kilometers away. That´s such a kind of operation which is seen on the picture above. I thought they would be around everywhere in the world, so you never saw one of those machines?
  8. Is there anybody out there? Ok, we already had a thread about a shooting star and about the earthlike planet which has been discovered last year. So why not talking about our closest neighbourhood: the Mars. A couple of days ago I first read it appearing on that moving band at the bottom of the tv-screen on an CNN-like channel and wondered why that isn´t the top news of the day. One or two days after that I´ve found it on the teletext and so I finally had to search the net about that topic. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/06/28/2288615.htm According to the news above, the soil on Mars doesn´t differ that much like that in your backyard and would be good enough to grow vegetables like fe. Asparagus on it! So ice on the polarcaps of the moon, probably even on Mars and now very fruitful soil on the red planet. I know of lots of sceptics who believe that live only could be possible on our own planet. Now I´m able to say to them, there are much more possibilities of live out there. I´m expecting that the next discovery on Mars probably could be some kind of primitive live like maybe some kind of bacteria or maybe even some kind of insect. What do you think?
  9. Thank you, my friends! Didn´t wanted to go too off-topic btw. @Rob NHL is Ice-Hockey, right? I just know that expression from the EA series. But wait a moment. Ice-Hockey in summertime???
  10. I know its hard to say something like that, but our team played so bad, they hadn´t deserved to win. I didn´t cared about the whole match that much because one our before the game started I´ve received a telephone call about that my cousin died of a deadly heart-attack. So everything else wasn´t that interesting anymore.

    Ciao

That building looks kinda ugly if you ask me. That reminds me of this: http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1813834 I´m sorry, that this course wasn´t that interesting as you felt before it started. But you always have to remind yourself that such kind of courses have been created by a bunch of teachers. And the teachers are most commonly boring.

    Ciao

So, it looks like you´re finally back, Tofu. BTW wb!! Can you give us a summary of what all happened at that project?
  13. Oh, yeah, your up to 10 hours ahead, Krytos. So watching the live-stream wouldnt be that practical for you. Yes! Today is the day of the final challenge! It´s Germany vs. Spain and it will be very hard, because the german teamleader, Micheal Ballack, is supposed to be injured. Nonetheless our team will hopefully play better than the spanish team and so finally win the cup. GO, GERMANY, GO!!! Much appreciating that you guys support our team. Playing versus Russia also would have been an interesting game, but unfortunately it shouldnt happen. But no time for sadness. The russian team never made it to any semi-finals so they can be prowd of what they´ve achieved in that tournament. I´m sure we will see them in two years at the world-cup.
  14. I still prefer the original version by Tears for Fears.
  15. Cool Sound, Krytos. Reminds me a bit of GWAR. LMAO
  16. Russia has a young and talented team. They definately have a good chance to beat Spain! It´s just a sensation that they made it that far, but to make it even to the final would let the russian peeps totally freak out.
  17. Really? So the german swiss programs have never been available in the french swiss?
  18. Looks like youi ain´t not that old, Tex. I dunno, but these four guys remind me of Boss, Sev, Scorch and Fixer of Republic Comando, isn´t it?! Unfortunately this game won´t be released for the PC, at least not that I know of.
  19. Eagle

    Ciao

Ha ha ha, that´s funny, Tex!
  20. After watching this, nothing bad can happen to our team anymore. Yeah, tonight is the night.... again. In about half an hour it´s "Germany vs. Turkey". If they loose they´re out and have to go home! If they win they will make it to the final! So again: GO, GERMANY, GO!!!
  21. Great, Mad! Congratulations!! I´m sure you know how to celebrate that. Haven´t ever heard about that actor/comedian before. Found some interesting vids of him on youtube today and got to say this man was brilliant!!! NSFW (lots of swearing): http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oI5EY5kqiBU&feature=related http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hWiBt-pqp0E He belonged to those people who called the things by its name and unfortunately there arent that much of them left nowadays. So R.I.P. George! After your disappearance only a big void will be left.
  22. Don´t worry about that. We are patient. People sometimes have to wait for months until Defender or Bad Samaritan release another piece of their arts.
  23. Oh, a bit late, but: welcome to the Forum! Take a look around this nice place and you will find lots of interesting things and cool people.
  24. Brilliant presantation of the game! Well done! When I saw that they were talking about Battlefield I first thought they will start to talk about the Battlefield-Mod "Galactic Conquest". But instead they were showing than its rip-off "Battlefront".
  25. It turned out that some of the riots were going on about 200 meters from my house in front of a local bank. Two turkish guys had some trouble with each other and one tried to hurt the other with a broken bottle of vodka. The other guy received various cuts and had to be taken to the hospital. This all had nothing to do with the soccer match which went on before. The russians who live here celebrated their team peacefully. Yesterdays match Italy vs. Spain was rather boring. None of the teams could manage to shoot a goal. So they had to go into the penalties, which means that a player has to shoot at the goal from a distance of 11 meters. The goalkeeper has minimal chances to catch the ball under such circumstances. Each team has to shoot five times vs. the goal. The spanish goalkeeper nonetheless managed to catch two balls, the italian chatched a ball one time and so the match ended with 4:2 for Spain.
