  1. Haahahahah Nicely Eagle fella!
  2. ^This without question. I read somewhere (here?) GL personally dislikes the Empire Strikes Back the most out of all the movies, which sort of fills one with an element of dread for any new projects concerning his mythos, given it is without doubt the best of all the movies in the eyes of the fans, and film critics alike. As you said though Rob fella, watch it I shall, and have an appropriate rant right here!!
  3. With the apparent possibility of 40 additional characters Kurukaze has uncovered, it rather begs the question this most excellent game was kinda left half finished for some reason! Perhaps the muppets at Lucasarts underestimated a game based more or less on imagination on the consumer market. The continued interest in this website somehow completely reinforces this, given there are always about a hundred 'guests' online whenever I log on. That, and for me personally, it's still about the most faithful dose of Star Wars experience I can lap-up, interact with, and waste away the hours with, other than simply shooting/slashing things with Jedi Knight. Sort of thing
  4. Minnesota Toe Licker Nabbed Read it, AND THEN scroll down..
  5. This is most excellent dude! I'm right in the middle of an exciting game I don't wish to disturb at the moment so am not at liberty to test this, but feel free to approach me or I suspect the rather talented artistic wonder god Lord_La_Forge if you need any image requirements!
  6. Wow! Excellent work that man
  7. ^and that They fly at lightspeed, value it dudes So treasure
  8. Interesting, I don't think it would be possible to add additional characters without the game's source code, an observation simply made by looking at the string tables with Resource Hacker. I once had a simular experience when I used RebEd mid-game to adjust something with a character an accidently switched them from rebel to Imperial. Given the character was captive by the Empire I suddenly found them as an Imperial. Unfortunately, I found I couldn't actually do anything with them! The character just sat their being useless.
  9. Madasafish supply a rather woo free router in their package: http://www.madasafish.com
  10. Woo! Happy birthday Mith dude! Pretend you read this tomorrow, but I know i'm going to be seriously busy straight though Friday and will probably not have time to log on and say this then!
  11. This is a very mysterious, esoteric cobservation of something, Mr Krytos I usually mutter the same thing under my breath when I step of the underground in the morning having been squeezed and shuved like a cow in a kettle market
  12. Amazingly that site is blocked by our work filters due to the following given reason: (miscellaneous questionable,sci/tech). This entire building is filled with scientists!!! We release press-releases everyday to the national press!! The insanity of it all..
  13. I have found madasafish.com very reliable over the years. If you go withthem via a recomendation from me we would both get cash insentives as well.. i'll try and dig out a link..
  14. Yoda gets tired of Luke's moaning
  15. Hehe The author is regular at b3ta, he did quite a few on that panda gif off gifdump, best being the telephone ringing (I can't find)
  16. That looks rather woo, M fella! http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/woosaber.gif
  17. I am watching Ewan McGregor as I type on a BBC program called 'Long Way Down,' which is rather good. He's off on the bikes again with his mate Charley Boorman, this time through Africa. Get to meet his dad and brother (though no sign of Wedge), but his laid back personality is refreshing! If you get access to the BBC on the web, my guess is it will be repeated on one of the digital channels like BBC3 or BBC4. Ben off on a safari!
  18. I just watched the news, the extent of the devestation is incredible! It's like close to a million people being evacuated. Hearts out to anyone effected by this.
  19. Ace! One less plug in the wall I guess.
  20. Oh believe me it's possible Besides if the people who wrote the manual programmed the AI, then this would explain a lot or, even vice versa. @J: It sounds like you had wonderful fun Hearing such wonderful things about the game brings out the hope that I might have such a good game someday. I'm going to have to work on my Galaxy Configuration some more now (it's been getting a bit boring lately ). But, the light at the end of the tunnel has shined again, pushing me on Keep on discovering new and curious events! Having.. Sort of strange how the rather wierd game engine can throw games like this at you every once in a while. I won't even begin to go into how i've moded stats to my liking, but the Imperial Fleet has sort refuge on Chandrilia, where a very nasty surprise awaits the rebels, namely the addition of three SSDs and ever growing ISDIIs, and the gathering point of escort carriers loaded with Intercepters and Defenders.. I am still perplexed however as to why they haven't taken Coruscant; granted it's now got four GenCon IIs, a LNR II, and loads of Stormtroopers under a general's command, but not the usual paranoid fleet requirement I usually deploy it with.. Yet the tension remains..
  21. I am bored of mis-understanding modern America; I agree wth this polite chap:
  22. Something just happened that has never happened in a Rebellion game before. I modified the rebels starting ships to their hardest ships, started a game on every Sector on colonized etc, and as of about day 500 had to flee Coruscant . This has never happened before! It's wonderful! It's like Hannibal invading the late Roman Republic. I have a fleet of rebel ships consisting of Liberators, CC-9600 Frigates, Dauntless Cruisers, and modified Mon Calamari Cruisers (as hard as ISD II) pointlessly blockading systems around Coruscant. But that's just it, they are not bombarding, given the presence of my LNR II's. It's a victory condition and they left Coruscant alone! Was this game so badly programed it's impossible to loose? Has anybody ever lost? Seriously?
  23. Curiously, very little on the BBC I could find just now. Is this the usual left wing anti-war/anti-globalization muppet brigade venting their anger on coffee shops and McDonald's, or muppets into far-right politics trashing the town because that is the extent of their political vision? Post a link you must mr Ninja
  24. http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1192993625/strange.jpg Posting nonsense you say? Check this little gem off the drawing boards of RotS production, wiser heads said 'err, no' to
  25. The PKK have apparently 'restructured,' as well, following Saddam's allowance for the Turkish airforce to enter Iraq and take out PKK targets. They are much more dispersed, which will make any Turkish incursion much harder to engage it's military objective. On top of this, our best and most dependable allies in Iraq are the Kurds!! I read today, their status in the current Iraqi military is the most dependable and competent, and they have declared defiance against Turkish aggression Well done Congress! American body bags obviously mean nothing more to you than political cucumber to chew on, aimlessly
