1. Manual loading of TIE Squadrons onto ships to allow for custom forces. 2. Transportation of troops on ships 3. Heros that can die and stay dead 4. Correct units in the timeline EaW has chosen 5. No newly made up units 6. Ability to land as many forces as you want on the planet but at landing points(ie landing points do not determind the # of ships you can land) 7. More well known planets 8. Correct placing of planets in the galaxy 9. Pop cap removal or large increase 10. XP sytem 11. Well known units such as the Carrack, Lancer, Dreadnaught....ect 12. Timeline that goes to Ep 6 and the destruction of the DS2 13. recruiting and training of heros(like take Luke to Yoda and out pops a Jedi Luke) Thats all I can think of at this point.

I'll admit first and foremost that I like gameplay alot more than realism but Star Wars is the one particular case that this just completly is disregarded in my mind. Realism in Star Wars IS good gameplay. The ships doing what they can do, Units doing stuff they can do. But thats completly gone in EaW and to a large portion of us who like star wars with its complexity and depth, this game is simplistic, uninspired, and stomping on what we love. And I agree with Naja and everything Avaris said, the game just isn't adding up to be great or awesome.

and real star wars ships should included rather than EU conceived crap such as the broadside. Would you complain if they had put in a Carack instead of the Broadside? I'm just curious. I know the Carrack is EU but would it be more bearable? As I said I'm just curious.

I guess I'll put my piece in. I expected Star Wars and most of its qualities. Not what we're getting right now.

No becuase the rebels need it and there is nothing to replace it with. A sad reality of a universe built on space and without any real ground battles(cept clone wars)

I won't bite your head off but I will set you straight. The repair list of my mod(and probably others which will pop up later) is putting in the Ep 5 and 6 things first. Not EU stuff which I know you hate. Secondly there is EU that is more believable than others. Dreadnaughts for example. Personally my "Repair List" for the mini mod we're making in addition to the main mod is to make sure all movie units from 4,5,6 are in first and foremost, recreate the battles in those movies(like hoth) and lastly include SUPPORTING EU to fill the sides out to give them diversity and to REMOVE the made up ships that are in EaW(such as the Tartan). So what you'll get in the end is a mini-mod(not the main one) that stays true to the movies but also gives you some supporting Eu ships such as Dreadnaughts, Lancers and Carracks, which are as close to canon as you can get. Thats my piece, you don't have to agree with it, but you asked.

Nah I was part of the scout unit and got heavily damaged. But oh know Tarkin comes along and says no retreat, so I figure destroying him will allow me to retreat. New Strategy, when losing badly kill Tarkin.

I was the captain of that ship. Its everyone else who is going in the wrong direction. Stupid Tarkin. My ships is damaged so I go.

I'm looking forward to this mod. I've always liked Mandos.

Quoting yourself, amusing. I don't need to push my own PR as much anymore. Its getting around as word of mouth more than anything which was what I was expecting. After the Jan 1 and 2 Updates, I fully expect and realistically expect that people will flock to see the progress we have made. So to tell you the truth I don't need to advertise LoW here nearly as much as I thought I needed to. No one seems to pay attention anyway to the Mod forum. My goal was to increase awareness of mods as a whole, not just my own. Do mods a favor and put the mod forum directly under the EaW General Discussion.
