  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8208557154 Hah, half.com does have it! Mwahaha, you can thank me later... Even if it isn't as cheap as it would be if you tried buying it on Sw.com and all... And it might not be in good condition, and all.
  2. Whenever I try to change my signature on this site, I either try it fifty times before it eventually acknowledges that i have put my signature on, and changes it, or else automatically reverts to the original. What's the deal, here?
  3. It still kind of annoys me that the planet ship-shooter described in "Isard's Revenge" was never implemented- that thing would be way better than the Death Stars!
  4. yeah, something's wrong, there. Which version of Rebellion do you have? I'm pretty sure that there's 1.0 and 1.1 before they gave up... I think that I have 1.1
  5. Why do people pester Lucas film for Galactic Battlegrounds? They should go after Microsoft for Age of Empires. The game isn't as good graphic wise, and doesn't really have anything good by way of aerial craft (yet) but it would be easier to get that code, seeing as all of eight people still play it, I think. (I would be among them, but my disk is scratched )
  6. Send 'em on missions with Darth As for your secondary question- right click on the ship and check status to see when it is arriving. It always annoys me to have to do that, but it works. Also, to answer number one (Because I'm feeling dyslexic yadot) The Rebels could be sending a rescue mission from a long time ago. if you had a prioner on that planet fairly recently (Within 50 days) then the Rebels might have sent out a rescuer who will report back with "My mission has failed because the target was not found at it's location. Returning to some planet fifty-gillion parsecs away."
  7. ...Gotta remember that... but I remember assaulting Corscant witha bombardment with a good sized fleet (Somewhere around fifty dreadnauts and Mon Cals) and not getting anywhere until I realised that I needed an Admiral. After that, all three shields came down in a flash, as well as several regiments of troops.
  8. I'd tend to agree whole-heartedly. Besides, the things only take about three days to build in a regular shipyard, or something. And then they only carry two regiments
  9. Awesome icon, AdThrawn! That was the best part of Ep. three. And there is the increadibally slight possibility that we could get the source code if the developers are drunk when theyc heck their E-mail and forget promises to Lucas and Co...
  10. Or you can use them to your advantage. If you have a traitor at, say, Coruscant, put a character who's loyalty you know of on espionage missions (Or just espionage droids) and move some of the ships from your fleet away. The espionage crew (Or even your ships, possibly) will tell you that a Rebel fleet is inbound to take out the fleet that they think is there, when your group brings in the rest of the fleet and whipes them out, effectively screwing the offensive abilities of an enemy.
  11. As far as question six goes, you might want to try sending characters who's missions are foiled by opposing forces on missions with jedi. Using the force, they will tell you if the character is a traitor or not (Traitors screw you up)
  12. Don't quote me, but I think that you get more back when you scrap TIEs and such.
  13. hmm... Me likes the idea. my signature is on that thing before it's drawn up. The Declaration of "Give us the Source codes or we'll whoop your ass!"
  14. Yeah, I guess... Still, it wasn't just foreshadowing- it was increadibally obviouis. He always made a point of the trees for Delta source in Coruscant.
  15. Oh. Your smily looked confused.
  16. I can see the whole Chiss thing, Trandoshans... Well, yeah, Trandoshans are jerks. but I noticed that many of the stereotipical species (Not all) have only one real point of origon. I guess I can see how that works... The other thing in Zahn's writing that annoyed me was really how many "Oh my gosh, that was right under my nose, i should have seen it!" things in there that were beyond easy to figure out. Still, I guess compared to some who throw all laws of physics and such out the window (Cough *Vector Prime* cough) it was decent enough...
  17. No ideas, but you have my complete support in this! Someone mentioned EaW being fully inferior to this- the games are very different. Where as EaW has up to 30 planets, this game has 300. Wheras Empire at War has superior tactics and battle graphics, you don't have to manage recources parrticularly well to get to this point. It's sort of like comparing Chess and Checkers (With Rebellion being Chess, of course ). Chess, while undoubtedly more difficult than checkers, is often more fun to play. Checkers is also fun, but is far simpler, easier to grasp, and not like chess in as many ways as one would think. I think those source codes might come out.
  18. Also, if you want stills, then you can find them at http://www.artbot.com/games/games.html
  19. No, he really doesn't. I remember one area pretty well in which the Chimera is being attacked by new Republic Vessles. He sends out part of his fleet, and, for no reason at all, surmises that the Admiral in charge is a Bith, I think. he then proceeds to turn the Hanger bay away from the fleet to launch TIEs, which results in fatality for the New Republic fleet. First of all, how you would react to any situation is affected by a number of things: How you wewre raised, who raised you, if you were given love, ect. Stackpole specifically contridicted Zahn with the Dark Tide doulogy. Admiral Traest Kre'fey is a Bothan who was brought up differently than Borsk, and thus is different than Borsk.
  20. It was more of a joke
  21. You mean hack it? Oh, this could be fun "Star Wars is a work of divine intervension! It was a mircale when God gave the X-wings the power to fly, and saved the Rebellion from a swift and tragic end. Only through belief did the Rebellion live..." Seriously, though, why buy a stupid T-shirt that says "I believe in Jesus, not Luke Skywalker!"
  22. I'll probably get huge contradictions, and not having read any of the books on that list, I really can't do much to back off hate spikes, but I thought the Thrawn trilogy was terrible. Thrawn just randomly stated "Oh, this is commanded by a Bothan, so it's going to do this". Zahn provided no reason for anything at all: Thrawn was just invincible, and he invented so many stupid things- for instance: The Ysalimari and Vorskners- aside from these names having been created from randomly hitting a keyboard (As I suspect many other names, such as Bppfash were) were completely off the wall. If the Vorskners hunted through the force, but Ysalimari took it out, why didn't the Vorskners lose the ability to hunt in the force? And how did they sense Luke if they had no force, as well? Also: What lead Thrawn to believe that the Ysalimari were on Myrkyrr? Or to know of their power? Then there was the Katana fleet, which other authors (namely Stackpole) were kind enough to reinforce with books set in the timeline earlier, but it just was too random. "The Imperials need power again, so let's give them 200 random heavy dreadnauts". Plus there was the set of History Datacards that really contained a blaster and all (As if palace security wouldn't have found those) and Delta source, which I had figured out from the first time that the trees were mentioned... It was just all-together far too made up to fit his pupouses with no explanation provided at all.
  23. Hah! lol, that was hilarious! Excuse me for being a terrible person and all, but I'm agnostic, here, and if Star Wars is the Devil's Work, consider me damned. Honestly, when did Lucas even mention god. You know, this brings up another point- all ghost stories are desgined to make us believe that there is no heaven or hell, so they are the works of Satan as well! Honestly, what's this guy want people to do- say "Oh, yes, I read this and have seen your many very good and well amrked points that show how Satan is behind Star Wars. I'm glad that this isn't some site says 'Star Wars is evil' for no real reason, or else I wouldn't be turned!" Mein Gaught!
  24. Yoda iss reallly just a hologram left behind. No, honestly. He started out as a living person, then left an artificial intelligance behind that pretended to be him, and taught Luke about the force... and pretended to be the real Yoda when it lifted Luke's X-wing out of the swamp... And dissapeared... Personally, I wonder if Yoda and Yaddle weren't test tube babies, or something. OSme experiment gone dreadfully wrong (or, possibly, right), mayhaps? I mean, since we never see anyone but Yaddle that is the same species as Yoda, we can logically assume that they are unique in the Universe. Galaxy, my bad, galaxy. Maybe the Yuzhan Vong left him behind! That's it... Except that he isn't void in the force... I'll stop contradicting myself, now, and let other people argue.
