  1. Sounds like one heck of a battle. Never forget, though- fighters can be increadibally effective against capital ships. This includes Defenders. I had a gold squadron of them (I made sure to put it one regular TIE one bomber and one interceptor squadron so all of my defenders were in the came place) and had, like, I dunno, 80 squadrons in that one flight. They fired on a capital ship and that thing was history. It was great.
  2. Wow... It amaze me that they forced one person to do all of that pixelating work... Even if I had his abilities with pixel-drawing, that would have been one heck of a laborous job to have... Imagine working with Microsoft paint like that...
  3. Wow, we all know we're nerds when we start discussing what kinds of star ships to attack Coruscant with... Anyone know what happens if the Imperials take Coruscant back from the Rebels? I'm trying to get the Rebels to steal sesswenna sector in a game where I have a huge fleet, but those pansies won't come in huge enough numbers to make for a good fight... THough Idid have a fairly awesome one that wasted an interdictor cruiser, two Imperial Mk II Star Destroyers, and an SSD, with the Imp Stars full of TIE deffenders... Then I kind of sent my invincible fleet in and killed them all with TIEs before they knew what hit them... Whee!
  4. I should build something like this... Wouldn't take much, an aquarium pump could work for the shooter, wouldn't be too hard to make the halfs of it... The only issue would be painting it, seeing as I have the artistic ability of a drunken Bantha making pictures with a blast sword. "Look, it's a bantha!"-Wes Janson, Starfighters of Adumar.
  5. You don't need to goto Ebay! This site is very friendly to illeagle activity! Didn't you see the warm greeting that one guy asking for a digital copy of Rebellion got? Anyway, just because I say it whenever I say anything: check http://www.half.com for Rebellion. You get stuff very cheap there.
  6. That'd be great- make it with a compressed air cannon, too, to shoot your drinks out of the, umm, main planet-blowing-up-gun-thing. That'd be awesome.
  7. Okay, fine, I lied. I just wanted to see if anyone would catch on or not. Though you appear to be the only one. You see, I'm a compulsive liar. That's a statement that'll probably take you a while to dissifer, it being a paradox and all.
  8. Uh, no. The poster is basically the entire galactic encyclopedia on a giant shiny sheet of paper.
  9. You know, it's odd, all of a sudden I'm able to simpathise with the Yuzhan Vong's hatred of machines... Dovin Basils are much easier to understand...
  10. I sent them all at from different fleets. But that's odd if yours wouldn't let you... Did you have version 1.0 or something higher?
  11. He sort of gave instructions... And let's face it, how hard would it be to make one? Strip a speaker down to it's basic components, remove all of the dampners, put it in a chicken wire frame, and cover it with paper mache or whatever before painting it. Easy as pi!
  12. Atom films has a couple more. Just go to the site (http://www.atomfilms.com) and do a search for star Wars, or something. You should eventually get the winners of some contest or another that was pretty good stuff. Personally I liked the Jedi Hunter, even if it was a bit long.
  13. I thought that one card catelog was the exact same thing? Isn't it?
  14. Still, they have redundant shielding. WOuldn't that make for a greater energy draw and all? And while I know that X-wings don't have capital ship class shields, we never see their shielding, either. Eh, I dunno...
  15. Which brings to mind the question of where the heck are the shield generators on a Mon Cal Cruiser?
  16. You may have missed both of these links... But I doubt it. Very good graphics in this one, though: http://www.atomfilms.com/af/content/empire_one http://www.atomfilms.com/af/content/recruitment
  17. No idea. You'd have to talk to the administrator on the website. Or be a really clever hacker.
  18. That doesn't exactly make sense. Wouldn't the generator be within the shield? It doesn't exactly make sense to leave your generator vulnerable. Then you're screwed.
  19. lol, if I actually had an account on Ebay I might place a bid... If it weren't for the fact that it would cost somewhere around $300 to us poor United States folks.
  20. Here's a link for a site thaat has all of the stuff that the poster includes. Though I'll post one up if you want. This one would probably be too tedious to use, anyways. http://drslice.com/games/index.php/rebellion
  21. I might be able to just take a digital picture of mine and then upload it to you. THat way you don't have, like twenty scans. I'll see what I can do for ya, though i don't know how to post it on the site... Unless I use that one photo site.
  22. Biggest fleet ever consisted of 50 SSD (nice round number, and all) 93 lancers 152 interdicters (No one escapes my wrath!) 200 heavy dreadnauts (Again, a nice round number) 20 victory star destroyers 121 victory II Star Destroyers 198 Imperial Star Destroyers 203 Imperial II Star Destroyers 1 Death Star And with a healthy dose of characters, defenders, Intercepters, and Dark Troopers, though not chauck full. And then I just stationed it all over Coruscant when the Rebellion had only one planet left, no headquarters, and only Mon Mothma out there. Decided to see if they ever recovered enough to strike back. They didn't so i made a couple of systems with big shipyards mad at me. I'll tell you, they never seem to come!
  23. I think I have a reason- at the time, everyone thought Fett was dead. no, seriously, when did the bounty Hunter Trilogy come out? oh, wait, actually I think it did come out in the ninetys, now that I think about it... Well, I'm going to guess that these guys shirked some homework and didn't read any of the Bounty Hunter books, so they just assumed that Fet was dead and didn't add him. Or else wanted to be on the safe side because theyw eren't sure of his E.U. status.
  24. So people learned to read through Star Wars games so that they knew where to go to kill Stormtroopers. How special!
  25. Sweet! That was one of my pet peeves with all of the other games. Well, that and the Rogue Squadron in-flight briefings... Imagine if our military (s) did that "okay, guys, we're flying apaches today because of their greater firepower. But watch out, because there's a fleet of F-16s out on a test flight- they could be back at any moment!"
