Hockey is the only sport I can either watch in person, watch on television, or listen to on the radio (which I have to do since I dont get cable at my apartment). I despise football, baseball, and basketball. They all bore me. I never watched soccer, but I think its similiar enough to hockey in concept and pace where I could watch it. I dont like watching tennis (though my gf enjoys watching the US Open and any other matches she finds), or poker (thats really boring)...I think I covered enough sports. Oh. I do enjoy sitting back and watching a good game of blurnsball.

But...but...it's...SPIDER-MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How, oh how can you wait THAT long to see it?! Spider-Man is a very accomplished movie series that tells a fantastic story and truely brings the comic to life. Not seeing this movie in the theatre is like not seeing Star Wars of Lord of the Rings in the theatre, and waiting for the DVD release. Blasphamy!!!!!!!!

Well the inspector came by today, and he said, and I do an exact quote "I could throw you out right now if I wanted to". Apparently, my apartment does not meet any of the towns fire-codes, as in there is no window in my bedroom, there is only one smoke detector in my apartment, there is only one way in or out of my apartment (through the main door), and apparently the ceilings are too low. As far as the asbestos goes, he didnt know if it was that or not, but is sending someone in tomorrow to take a sample and see if it is. Anywho, he called the landlord today, so when I got out of work tonite there were 3 missed calls from him, which I was not surprised about. But he left me a voicemail saying that he decided to rent me the upstairs apartment by myself next semester. So Im scared, because I have a feeling that he wants me to do some of the minor repairs myself while I live there to cover the cost of living in a 2-bedroom apartment alone. But I dont really know what he wants exactly. Im gonna have to call him tomorrow and see.

Space Doctor Game I ended up killing the entire crew due to my lack of knowledge of space ailments.

OMG I am almost peeing my pants with excitement for the movie. I was reading Spider-Man comics since I was but a young lad. My friends and I would swap comics during our cub scout camping trips. I am so excited that the movie decided to incorporate Venom. Im just wondering how they are going to fit in the alien symboite costume (the black ooze-looking thing) in to the movie. Its origins in the comics are...a tad ridiculous. There are two courses of action I see the movie taking to explain its appearance, but I will not say so as to not unintentionally release spoilers and ruin surprises. All I can say is that I am mad excited!

Simpsons Movie Contains Full-Frontal Nudity

There are only a few more episodes left of this first season, but it is gonna be nuts!!! Last nights episode takes place in the future. Need I say more? Well, here is some potentially bad news. The girls living upstairs had their fridge go bad this semester, so it leaked through the floor and ruined the kitchen tiles. They had some contractors come by today, and when they pulled up the tile they found a layer of carpet that was ruined and covered in mold, and they also found what they think might be asbestos. Anywho, they called the Board of Health, who are swinging by the apartment tomorrow, and I dont think this place meets their standards in several respects. So my worry is if I will have an apartment to return to next semester. I went about town yesterday with the weekend paper in hand searching for new accomodations for next semester, but most people want to sign a contract from June-May, and I dont plan on living up here for the summer too. I would like to be back home with family and friends for a bit. So now I really gotta find something. I may put up some posters or something tomorrow at school. Edit: I got to talking some more with the upstairs tenants. Apparently, the two of them pay less rent for their decenter apartment than he pays me. We also found out that the landlord does not have permits for this place either. They are planning on filing a suit against him, and Im thinking if I should jump in too. I'll wait and see how things go with the health inspector tomorrow before I decide. I want to see how bad this place really is.

That's awesome. I have only one katana that is probably qualified to handle the stresses of combat. All my other ones are either replicas or cheesy weapons that wouldn't hold up in a duel. Many of my swords are replicas of movie swords, like Duncan McClouds (Highlander tv show), Blade, and He-Man (a very cruddy replica I found at a flea market in South Carolina this winter).

I totally dont agree with that. I totally dislike the idea of universal healthcare, and his tax ideas are terrible!!!

I wouldn't say a chimp. I always thought it was more of a cyborg look. The one eye was like super huge, and it looked like it was grafted onto the face.
