  1. I have had Chewie and Ackbar as Jedi. Though Ackbar only grew in leadership, I think. I just don't understand how Vader can train Jedi and Palpy cannot. If anything, Palpy should be the one able to train. That's why when I pop in RebEd, Palpy has the ability to be the master.
  2. I highly recommend it. I have had the game for years, and am always in the middle of playing one.
  3. I'll drink to that!
  4. I think Yoda absorbed energy in the form of Dooku's force-lightning in AotC...
  5. Does anyone actually go on our chatroom? I remember it coming a few months back, but I thought it had some probs and was taken down.
  6. Left-click on your capital starship, then right-click on their capital starship, I think.
  7. That sounds pretty good. I'm down with Zolay.
  8. I definetly agree with you on Harrison Ford. He played Han Solo perfectly, and his other characters in other movies were always great. I'd have to agree with you on Windu too. I didn't think that he belonged in the Star Wars story. Samuel L. Jackson did not do a very good job. He acted too much like a badass to be a Jedi. I would have to disagree on you with Dooku however. I think he did great in AotC. Lee is a superb actor, with an execellent voice.
  9. Beware Evo. He speaks true. I've seen him do it. Not a pretty site. Espicially when he uses a swordfish to make the incision and an octopus tentacle to snatch the liver and yank it out. By the way, welcome!!!
  10. I'm still upset about the day I played as the Rebs and had Chewie as one...
  11. I don't agree entirely with your views on Darth Vader ATA. I don't believe he became any less powerful after being put in the suit. The problem is that we only know Darth Vader in the suit from Episodes IV-VI. These films were made in the late 70s-early 80s. They didn't have the technology to portray these epic lightsaber duels between Luke and Vader, like they have today in Episodes I-III, where the duelists are all hopping around like a mexican jumping bean. Darth Vader was a force to be reckoned with, and I'm sure that he could have owned Mara Jade if they were ever made to face eachother in combat. Palpy kept Vader around because: 1. he WAS a face of terror to the galaxy. He inspired Imperial officers to work harder through fear. 2. he was a useful Dark Jedi. He was just as important as Mara Jade and the other Force users Palpy kept around. It's just that they each had their uses. Jade was an unknown face, even to the rest of the Empire. She was useful for covert missions, where she had to sneak in and out undetected. That was her strength. Vader couldn't do that. He did not have the ability to sneak around. He was useful as a leader, where everyone could see him and fear him. Vader was a most powerful Jedi.
  12. Hmmm. I've never had more than three in one game. But it would be cool to have more. I could start "Darth Vader's Academy of the Dark Arts". It would be awesome.
  13. It was a graphic novel (comic book) series called Dark Empire. I purchased the entire collection into one book for about $20. Very, very good. http://www.rebelscum.com/darkhorse_darkempire.asp
  14. I think the A.I. randomly selects three minor characters from each side to be Force attuned. You must send Vader or Luke (after Dagobah) around to find out who are the candidates.
  15. I couldn't stand the fact that a whiny little biznatch like Hayden became the dreaded Darth Vader. Llyod was annoying as well. But I have to stick up for Hamill. I think he did a great job of progressing from a little moisture farmer to Jedi Knight.
  16. It's funny, isn't it? How can somebody say, "hey, I'm religious", and yet believe that evolution occured. Did God create basic life and then sit back and watch it evolve over billions of years to where it is today? Not according to various religious works. So I have trouble saying exactly that about myself. It's nice to feel that God created us himself, and that we are all the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve, but at the same time, it just doesn't make sense. I guess what I'm getting at is that regardless of my uncertain religious views, I would still want my children to learn about evolution. They can learn about God and religion and everything in Sunday school, but in the U.S. there is a division of Church and State, and it should remain that way.
  17. I found this to be quite difficult in the end. What do you guys think? http://intelligence-test.net/part1/
  18. So my friend sent me a link for a 10 day trial of Galaxies, and the price was right. So I gave it a whirl. I didn't care for it much. Then again, I don't like PC games either. Or at least the ones where you need to use both the keyboard and mouse to move and kill stuff. Hokey keyboards and ancient mouses are no match for having a console game controller at your side!
  19. I'm pretty sure that a lot of the major league pitchers can throw 100+ mph.
  20. Not for nothing, but I don't see how a piece of molded plastic on a strap is going to hold up to a 100 mph ball of rawhide!
  21. Holy crud! That has sooo gotta suck! If you ask me, gettin paid millions of dollars a year is NOT worth getting a baseball driven into your crotch!
  22. Not for nothing, if you can't remember the name of your character, you don't deserve to be in the movie. She got what was coming to her.
  23. Nice. I had no idea. But I'm still going to try it, just to hear that annoying hunk of junk say something different for a change.
  24. You weiner.
  25. Nah, I wasn't quoting anyone. I was just making a random statement that one of the girls could have said.
