  1. That is true. The conquistodores and other Europeans coming to the Americas saw the people as "savages", and wiped them out in an effort to "better them" by forcing religion and government on them. Perhaps alien life would view us as uncouth barbarians, and enslave us for our "own good".
  2. Under the RebEd section you can download "cards". Each card represents a new character, ship, or SpecUnit that can be used to replace an already existing unit. So you can't add an extra character, but you could replace some of those cheezy Imperial aliens for the likes of Tarkin and Dooku and Jade.
  3. I wasn't impressed with The Ting. I don't scare very easily. Not for nothing, but the all-time best horror movie is the original version of The Shining. Jack's acting in it's very, very best. But of recent movies, I was impressed with Saw (not the sequel though). Saw had a edge-of-your-seat tenseness, and the ending: magnificently impossible to ever guess. I don't know a person who wasn't blown away with Saw. Also, I found The Skeleton Key to have a very nice "twisty" ending that I sure didn't see coming. Now there is one recent movie that actually gave me nightmares. Don't laugh, but the movie was The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Now I didn't find it scary in the least (I actually thought it boring). But in the movie there is a signifigance that at like 3:00am or so is the "spirit hour", so in the movie, every night at 3am, something would happen. Well for some subconcious reason, I found myself awake in bed that night, unable to sleep, until after 3. I wasn't scared of the movie, but for some reason, I had this fear of going to sleep before 3am. That was very freaky, but it only lasted two nights, then I was fine.
  4. I find it highly addictive. I'm currently proficient in sailing and ship-building. I'm getting better at my sword duels also. Nothing beats pounding a ship with cannons, then boarding and having everyone on board involved in this massive sword fight!
  5. I think a cartoon bunny is better than Tom Cruise.
  6. This is a great massive multi-player rpg things. Basicly, you are a pirate in a community of pirates, and you sail the seas, pillaging for gold. The trick is that each action (firing cannons, sailing the ship, swordfighting, etc) is a "puzzle". Most of the puzzles are like tetris/ bejewled, where you have to clear the screen to proceed. It is a very addictive game. Check it out at http://www.puzzlepirates.com
  7. I think the AI produces whatever is cheapest most of the time.
  8. You're mom has it? Or did she buy it for you? Cause if your mom is a gamer, that would be freakin sweet!
  9. I saw a trailer for that bunny web site at the movie theatre several times. The trailer was for their version of Jaws. They didn't show anything of the actual movie, just had the creator saying "yeah it's a short film with a bunny Jaws, blah blah blah". Now I know what it was.
  10. I think it's very possible that alien life has reached Earth. Now I don't believe that all those nuts were "abducted" and "probed under uncomfortable conditions", but I do believe that the government knows more than it lets the public know. There is a small town about 10 minutes from where I live called Pine Bush, which is supposed to be a huge "UFO highway area". I read this book that some doctor wrote about UFOs in the area, and she claimed that the Sasquatch was a alien creature brought to Earth to guard and protect secret underground UFO hangar bays. Now that is just too ridiculous!
  11. I recently caught that movie, and must say that it was ridiculous, which is a good thing. I love crazy, zany movies, and that one definetly fits the bill. I highly recommend it to any who have not yet seen it.
  12. @ Tofu: Is that similiar to paint ball?
  13. I find most of the winter games watchable, where I won't suffer a severe case of boredom. The summer games, on the other hand, are real yawners.
  14. I liked Star Wars Legos. There are definetly worse games out there.
  15. Yeah, very impressive. I had it figured that Canada would get the gold, but then there's the Swiss with the upset. Makes you realize that the pro-NHL players are NOT all powerful in this tournament (I think Canada has 23-24 on their team, while the Swiss have 3).
  16. I can't believe that the Swiss team beat Canada 2-0!!!
  17. I never get bored. There is always something I am doing, wether it's surfing the nether-regions of the web, chillin with my PS2, doing a little light reading, or just shooting the breeze with some friends, listening to tunes.
  18. I had to stop it! It was just too retarted. I would rather watch Jar Jar...wait, no I wouldn't. I guess I'd rather watch Dr. Tran than Jar Jar.
  19. What happened to your seafood Tofu? You're slipping back to conventional weaponery.
  20. I was reading a bit about the game on bestbuy.com, and it mentions that up to 8 players can play!!!
  21. I see that the US and Latvia ended up tying 3-3. Apparently, the Olympics did not take on the NHL's new ruling on no ties.
  22. The US is winning 2-1 against Latvia in men's hockey!!!
  23. It's all about the weakness of man. Humans tend to be greedy, and concentrate on personal gain and material things. But I do think that we are intelligent.
  24. There were a bunch of dragons that Sauran's master Morgoth created during the First Age. But most of them were destroyed throughout the ages. I think Smaug was the last dragon in existence. There were lesser dragons called drakes, and some of these had no legs or wings so they crawled like a snake. But they were nowhere as big as dragons.
  25. I was actually surprised that they failed to mention EaW. The last game they mentioned was Knights of the Republic. But I'm sure that they did not want to piss of LucasArts, so they pushed the freaken pay-per-month game dammit!
