In my opinion Lucas is the bigger 'cock'up (Women and children cringe and cry out in horror at the word.). He had three great movies, absolutely unruinable in every possible way (Even with the ewoks the OT was still as awesome as a Deathstar.). But leave it to Lucas to fly his fighter of absolute crap down the trench of stupid and launch a crap-cruise missile into the bungwhole of all absurdity... The Wakowski brothers, well you could argue that in fact that didn't 'screw' up but instead landed an incredibly lucky hand their first time around, and continued, but lost. It's almost as if Lucas went out of his way to ruin the movies just to piss on everything. Lucas: Other people directed the GOOD movies so I think I will make a bunch of suck-ass movies out of spite for the good directors. No wonder the directors guild booted him, he blows balls and always has...

You know, if you want a different spin on rebellion so that you had two forces like Kaja's fighting each other you could always play a multiplayer game and have your partner agree to just build a fleet and then have a place to meet so you two could duke it out. It would be a matter of manuevering your ships correctly against the enemy force. If it was recorded that would be quite a treat.

I think I will answer that. Leonardo Decaprio would have been a much better Anakin. And it would have been a better move on Lucas' part because he already knew that anyone interested in Star Wars would go see the movies, but with Decaprio he would attract a larger female audience as well. Although he may not have been able to do the fight scenes as well (Lucas' reason for casting Hayden over him.) but the acting element would have been much better. Also if you look, you will find that Portman does a better job when she is acting around other people that AREN'T Hayden, such as Ewan. Which probably means that Christiansen is probably such a crap actor that he rubs off on people. But yeah, Decaprio would have done a much better job.

If only Lucas read this site, then he may realize that not everyone loves his crap (Graciously dunked in as many grotesque(sp) substances as possible to add flavor.) and that he did indeed do a crap job in everything after the OT, and if you study the OT you will notice that the directing on it is pretty poor as well, but it really only shows through in ANH I think.

Or better yet, Palpatine could be like one of those con-men who has wives stashed all over the place (Except in this case he has apprentices stashed all over the galaxy.) and they all go at each others throat to win the love and affection of ole wrinkle-face.

Same with me Cain. Dooku getting it handed to him like that blows... And the worst part is is that Obi-wan gets it handed to him by Dooku, then Anakin rips Dooku a new one, and THEN when Obi-wan and Anakin fight, Obi-wan is somehow able to hold his own against him when is clearly far beyond him in terms of skill...

I don't know Jahled, too young? Hayden may be young but he has been in 16 other movies, giving him plenty of experience... So I don't know...

Hmm then Lucas should have made Maul be Dooku's apprentice, that way the cool leader stays, and you get a better fight. I'm not really saying Maul would have been a good central character, I'm just saying I would have really liked to have seen him fight some more.

It wouldn't be Star Wars Rebellion after that. I like the game as is for the most part, it just needs some tweaking I think, not a complete redesign.

Who thinks that Maul should have lived to fight in the clone wars? I sure as hell do, I think a battle between Maul and Anakin would have rocked ass on several different levels of cool. Hell imagine this; Geonosis, the clones have started fighting the droids and the remaining Jedi are halted as Maul leads the droids forward? There is a cool little battle sequence with Maul wasting a few Jedi before he is called back... Now to Revenge of the Sith, Palpatine still has Maul in his service, but now that he has Anakin there is no more need for him. Palpatine instead already sent Maul to kill the Viceroy, and so Maul waits on Mustafar like a good little boy. We'll say that Maul uses a single blade because Obi-wan slashed his dual-blade in half (And Maul leaves Obi-wan for whatever reason in TPM). Anakin shows up and there is a duel, Maul lasts for a while but ends up getting his hands diced off by Anakin after a short while (The hand severing is a real Vader favorite.). Anakin kills him with a lightsaber stab to the heart, and he then discards his blue lightsaber for Maul's red one. (This in my opinion would make the climatic duel with obi-wan cooler as it would be the lightside saber color VS the darkside saber color.) So yeah, I think Maul should have lived to fight more, and then die by the hand of everyone's favorite villain.

Also because you are getting it handed to you then several of your characters are probably traitors and thus leaking information to the Rebellion.

All of you out there who think the code will be released just read Jahled's response to mine on the thread 'Flat out tired' or something along those lines. I tried for a month or so to get the sourcecode with not even a response from LucasArts, and while it would be cool, Jahled makes a most valid point. Also Admiral Thrawn makes a good point about the whole EaW thing. So just face it. No matter how ambitious you think you are, or may be there is always someone to rival you in terms of greed. People suck ass, and it is a fact. We aren't getting the sourcecode...-.-

You send a ship to the planet that can carry troops. And you click and drag the troops onto the planet. In effect you colonize the planet and it becomes yours.

When we go to a movie we shouldn't have expectations as to the acting? What the hell? No we SHOULD have expectations because actors get paid gobloads of money so they should at least be able to satisfy the mob. As for the anger part... We saw in Episode 2 that Anakin lashes out when he is angry, hence the tuskan massacre, and the throwing of parts in the homestead. Therefore it stands to reason that he would yell, or be spiteful, or lash out verbally when angry, especially since he is a sith lord.

That wasn't all that ruined the prequels. The movies have so much CGI that they could basically be considered animated in some respects. I wouldn't mind so much if the CGI wasn't only there to make up for lack of interesting dialogue, and what not, but it does. God I hate GL...
