I must confess, I've never player with Starcraft either. Truth be told, it always seemed more of a rusher's game, which I find rather boring. But, then again, not playing does limit my ability to comment. As for the next gen coming out - I can't say I'm a big fan of the in game graphics so far. Everything feels like sprites and not 3d models. I realise that from a designer's point of view and a technical point of view it's difficult, a challenge and has some cool look. Nevertheless, my very first thought was Warcraft III looked better than it Hopefully some in game vids and higher res screenshots will put that to rest. @Tofu: Yup, got the irony Oh, on a side note - I really liked Warcraft 3. Ok, the single player more than anything.

I sat in the cockpit of a Saudi prince's VIP 737 coming into Cairo during the "windy season". Quite interesting; on approach to the left runway, we were aiming directly for a 747 ready for takeoff on the right runway. The "cross winds" put us directly over the left runway when the pilot and co-pilot started cursing each other out about the landing. Apparently each had a different "approach" to landing in cross winds, and didn't inform the other of "their plans". I wasn't sure if we were going to land in one piece; either the plane was going to crash, or the pilot/co-pilot were going to come to blows and then we would crash Everything was OK after that Damn, that sounds like some powerful crosswinds. Yup, seen the entire show. I think there was just two seasons, damn great though. Cant really say too much about the show without ruining elements of it - but, truelly was good with only a handful of nit picks (some of which were obviously due to lack of funds and a 3rd season) * NOT SAFE FOR WORK! Cannot stress that last part, a lot of swearing. This is just for fun ... or annoying

Correct, most things started off as a spline lathed into a polygon tube shape. After that, I added an edit poly modifier so I could tweak the shapes and then finished off with a turbosmooth modifier. There's a few smaller details that can't be seen, such as the thread on the bottle head and the cap on top of that. Those were hard to make. I've played the Wario minigames, which is just weird, as well as some othe sport pack games - tennis (I sucked) and bowling. First, and only, game of bowling, I got a 220 something - didn't miss a pin, all strikes and spares. Apparently it was beginners luck
