But the Droid wasn't out of missiles, witha pop of metal it ejected the two expended magazine's and the autolader at its rear moved to affix two more. Before the missiles were loaded the droid swung toward the approaching headhunter it's deflector shield snapped on as Kyp rolled toward it and tried to thrust through the shield. The blade bounced off the shields as the droid locked onto its target and fired its Plasma cannons. The two golden bolts arched through the air smashing into the Z-95's forward shields. They flickered as the plasma ate into them but failed to penetrate. Kyp watched the deflector shield snap off as the craft lined up the dual concussion missile launchers. It activated its lightsaber blades as Barkoa struck at it. The droid blocked his strike and the missile launchers canted up toward the headhunter. Kyp pulled out his comm link, "Watch out its about to fire again!"

Zsinj is mentioned in Wedge's Gamble and the Krytos Trap. The platform over Yag'hdul is under his control.

OOC: You know considering Episode IV's opening crawl says the rebels had won there first major victory. Shouldn't the imperials loose?

Kenth Hamner stood at the base of the Arena, beside him Kyp Durron impatiently shifted his weight from one foot to another. He glanced at Saba and nodded as the chamber slowly quieted, the Jedi were all here, all of those that had been called to the meeting it appeared. Kenth sighed, the announcement he was about to make would certainly make the majority of those inthe room unhappy, of course he would have been as well, "The High Council has been forced, because of the ongoing investigation into genocidal activities, to order the suspension of all Jedi missions without special permission from the council. All Jedi are to remain on Ossus until the situation is resolved, or there use becomes desperate." Murmurs had broken out among the assembled Jedi, Kenth let the volume rise, they would have to get out their frustration. Suddenly a hand raised above the crowd, "Kyle, do you have a question?" Kyle Katarn nodded and stood, "Why are we being suspended exactly, what have they found at the investigation?" Kyp sighed, he'd voted against this measure but decided he was obligated to go along with it, "We're being suspended because the investigation has recovered evidence that a Jedi, or multiple Jedi were responsible." There was a wave of silence in the room as the frightful nature of the revelation dawned on them, "Um, excuse me, but does anyone know where Barkoa is?" Saba hissed, "Didn't anyone inform him?" Kyp gritted his teeth in frustration, "I'll find him." He stormed out of the temple's chamber and expanded his senses, Barkoa, where are you? You have to be here on Ossus, you haven't been sent on a mission for us. He wandered down the halls and stopped as he saw the shadow of the young Jedi Knight cross the floor, "Barkoa there you are!" Barkoa spun, "Master Durron, I can't find anyone!" Kyp sighed, "They're in the assembly chamber, you know the chamber in the center fo the pyramid's base." He stopped as a rolling rumble filled the room. Instinctively he went for his lightsaber. His senses caught no sign of immediate danger. The rumbling stopped and was replaced by the clank of a droid unfolding. Kyp spun as his danger senses flared. Before him a droid shimmered into existance. It looked like a droideka, but with several differences. A pair of concussion missile launchers were clamped to the droid's shoulders. The twin blasters on its arm had been replaced by a repeating blaster, a plasma cannon, and what appeared to be a lightsaber emitter. With a clanck the missile launchers leaned back and an autoloader slapped a magazine onto the launchers. With a hiss a pair of lightsaber blades blazed into existance and the repeating blasters opened up.

Picard felt heat, a burning which wafted up from his wrists which were tied behind him. He opened his eyes as a pair of Rapora warriors scrambled into the room their rifle’s slung over their arms. One grabbed him by the arm and lifted him to his feet. He felt his feet scrape against the metal beneath them as he was hauled through the door. Another pair of hissing Rapora stood there. Their rifles leveled and fixed by a light saber bayonet on their ends. Picard felt the heat from the blade’s behind him as he was ushered forward, through the brown red hallway. He was led to a pair of intricately carved doors which slid open. There was a throne in the center of the room, slowly a black cloaked shadow stirred, and a hiss lifted from the shadow, “Well, if it isn’t Captain Picard.â€

Corran Horn wandered the ruins, his eyes down at the bodies which lay around him. Their clothes burnt, their eyes wide with fear. He'd seen death many times, but it had never been something he'd grown used to, and the sight of such slaughter brought back memories from the depths of his mind. He shoved those throughts aside as he bent down next to one of the victims. Her arm had been severed, her stomach sliced open from a blade which had sliced through her garments and cauterized the flesh beneath them. Slowly Corran glanced to a victim beside her, a man whose chest had been burned open by a blast of heat, Corran could see some blood beneath the man, a different weapons, but the same result, violent death. "Corran, look at this," Jacen called from where he stood beside one of the burned out structures. Corran slowly stood and stepped beside Jacen and gazed down where he was pointing. Three distinct imprints in the sand shown, further along there were three flattening imprints which became a three pronged line in the sand. Jacen arched an eyebrow at Corran, "What is it?" "I've never seen anything quite like it." "I have," A familair voice answered from behind them. Jacen spun, "Aunt Mara!" She smiled slightly at Jacen then nodded at the track, "It looks like the trail from a droideka." She pointed to the three definite imprints, "It was unfolded here, then folded up and went in that direction." "But whats a droideka doing here?" Jacen asked. Luke stepped beside his wife, "Thats a good question, Mara, you think we should we call our friends on Nirauan." "Parck?" Mara asked surprised, "Well maybe they'd know something, is Ben still onboard like I asked him to be?" "I think so..." Luke answered. "Mom, look what I found!" Ben Skywalker ran toward them his hands gripped tightly around a shiny piece of metal. Mara glared at her son, "Didn't I say you should stay aboard?" "Yes, but..." "Didn't I say I'd lock you up in the cargo hold if you came out here?" Mara continued. Luke dropped his voice to a whisper, "He takes after you, remember." She laughed and tried to remain a stern face toward her son. Ben wasn't convinced, "But look what I found." He held out his hand and dropped the lightsaber contained there to the ground with a slight thud. Luke couldn't believe his eyes, a lightsaber lay there, its ends obviously emitters for the beam, but it was double bladed, and curved, none of his students used one such as this. Corran picked up the saber in his gloved hands, "Who wielded you?" He asked the saber almost hoping for an answer. Ben glanced around at the desolation, "Dad, who did this?" "That is what we're here to find out." * * * The world had been a barren sphere for all its life, but that did not make its worthless. A lone imperial listening post was there, or had been. Now all that remained was a black scar across its surface. Debris from a short and sharp conflict in space was visible, the shattered wings of claw fighters, but there was no debris from the attackers. They'd arrived in overwhelming force. All that remained were a quartet of fighters which banked over the plant and angled upward, their brown hulls glinting in the sunlight. Seconds before they jumped the angular form of a Star Destroyer appeared, its hulk barely visible with the naked eye. But the Star Destroyer spotted them at once, and took a single holo in the twelve miliseconds they had remained.

Okay so now I've got two big, huge projects. Cain has probably become intimately familiar with one of them, Stellar Magic. I've been dropping clues all over the place for the Rapora Wars project. I just want to know what you think of both of these fictional chains of events. I expect Cain to post what he thinks of SM:TMA (Stellar Magic: The Merlin Academy) and maybe some suggestions for the Rapora Wars Series. Any and all input is welcome.

God, they're reawakening one of the oldest and lamest Star Wars series, those droids and ewoks things. The only thing worse was the Ewok adventures. If Lucas had half a brain for television he'd have done a miniseries based on the Dark Force Rising Trilogy, and a real series for Rogue squadron. Those would fly, droids and ewoks shouldn't. Also General Grievous is supposed to be in the opening sequence for Episode III.
-
If they do make a third trilogy its obvious to me that those plots...are not for the third one. Lucas has admitted that the story of Star Wars is basically Macbeth on an enormous scale. It's all about Anakin Skywalker, so for Star Wars to continue Anakin would have to be brought back some how. I doubt Lucas would be able to survive the amount of uprising such a plot would ensue from the fans. For one thing Anakin Solo is dead, the Jedi number only around 50 at the end of the NJO, and the New Republic no longer exists. We're not talking about changing one characters background, but an entire legion of characters backgrounds. EU fans would be about ready to place Lucas's head on a Pike.

OOC: For Plot continuality, reverse the order of my last post and Barkoa IC:Jacen lifted his eyes upward as the rumble of a ship entering the atmosphere filled the air. Above the distant glow of a pair of vessels blazing from orbit appeared, slowly the flames surrounding the vessels flickered and died, leaving them visible to the naked eye. The first vessel was one which Jacen had becomne quite familiar with, the Wild Karrde, its hull flickering from the remaining flames of reentry as it banked slowing even more. The other was an alin craft, its design organic, its speed and handling made it a prized vessel by all who had handled one, it was a Sekotan skip. The Wild Karrde slowed to a halt and keyed in its repulsors and descended to the world's surface, its ramp already lowering before it had touched the ground. The Sekotan skip screamed past then banked to come to a halt beside the Corellian Action IV transport. It decended to the surface as Talon Karrde clambered down the ramp accompanied by a Jedi, sheathed in the normal brown robes of the order. As she pulled back the hood Jacen recognized her, Cilghal one of the few Jedi gifted with talent in the art of healing. Her Calamarian face twisted into a somber smile as she saw Jacen then became distressed at the destruction she saw all around her, "Its worse then I'd imagined." "I haven't seen destruction like this, since the Vong invasion," Talon Karrde said, his hands toying with his mustache, "We can fit maybe two hundred aboard...if there are that many." Jacen nodded, Karrde was right, so far he'd only found a handful of survivors. Then Jacen's eyes flicked to the Sekotan skip as Corran Horn clambered out of the craft, "What are you doing here?" Corran sighed as he glanced to the bodies, "Luke wants to know who did this, we can't allow this sort fo genocidal act to continue elsewhere. I've got investigation training so Luke wants me try and piece things together. With both me and Mara on the case maybe we can find out whats happened." "First things first, help me get the survivors loaded," Jacen answered turning toward the burned out shell of a building they'd transformed into an aid station. * * * Jedi Master Kyp Durron stood at the circular table around which the High Council sat. He cleared his throat, Luke had asked him to relay the report, "We have a situation that may be brewing in the unknown regions. Luke Skywalker is currently on his way to a system in the region. Due to respect for the local’s customs we will not reveal the exact system, but Jacen Solo has been more then willing to provide a holographic record of what has occurred.â€

OOC: My purpose is to move alongthe Rapora invasion plot line, and that is what I'll do using thousands of characters if need be. IC:He was called Dreth Luad, and he had a mission. He could not remember who had given him the mission, or why he had this target, but the credits were good, and if there was anything Dreth Luad loved it was credits. Still he had to do the mission, and that meant he had to kill someone, someone sitting at a table two hundred meters away. He did not know how he knew but he knew, slowly he withdrew the Xerrol Nighstinger from its sheath and sighted in on the twi'lek woman, He tightenend down on the trigger and with an invisible blast of blaster fire, loosed the shot. The woman suddenly blurred as if moving to fast to follow and the shot flashed harmlessly into the ground behind her. Dreth heard a clank beside him folowed by the whine of electrical pistons. A pair of brilliant orange lightsaber blades ignitend, crossed, and Dreth felt no more. Behidn him the droid that had killed him rolled into a tight ball and disappeared behind its cloaking shield, its mission accomplished it rolled steadily away. * * * Luke awoke with a start, the holocomm chiming. Beside him Mara stirred her golden hair reflecting a pale blue from the holocomm's light. Her green eyes fluttered open as Luke stood and wandered over to the holocomm. She sat up as Luke keyed up the call identifier, and read its source as Mara observed, "Emergencies never happen at a decent hour." "It's Jacen," He keyed on the comm message and Jacen's face appeared on the screen. "Uncle Luke, well I found them, but you're going to have to scramble people here right away, dozens of them are injured, thousands dead, some sort of attack and..." Jacen stopped as his face contorted with anguish, "There's someone here you may remember, its hard to believe she survived." The image flickered to show Akanah, "It's been a long time Skywalker." Luke nodded, "That it has, Jacen I'll call fleet command and try to get them to send some rescue ships, have you contacted Danni on Zonoma Sekot?" Jacen nodded, "Good, do you think you need a hand, another Jedi maybe?" Jacen shook his hand, "Send Cilghal or her apprentice, what we need here right now are medics, we're all hoping whoever did this doesn't come back." Mara stepped beside Luke, "How was the attack conducted? Can you tell?" "I don't know Aunt Mara, there are bodies everywhere, I've seen some without heads and limbs, like from a melee weapon, and I've seen them flash burned like from heavy weaponary, strange the ground isn't slippery with blood." "What was that?" Mara asked, an alarm bell ringing in her head. "Thats what was bugging me, no blood, but that means..." Mara walked over to the wardrobe closet and pulled a jumpsuit out as Luke cut him off, "We'll see you in a couple days Jacen."

OOC: That can be worked out, make your first post as the Character doing the last part of the Trials on the Jedi Academy on Ossus. You could also give your character a last name. You could have Luke get called away just after you finish, and I can pick it up from there. I'm very adaptable

This RPG will be set up along the following lines to introduce the Rapora: 1. The Rapora are not playable at start. 2. I, Stellar Magic, will post from the point fo view of particularly important characters to set up the chain of events leading to the Rapora Wars. 3. I suggest that you play as though its peacetime at the start, build up your characters and so forth. To start off I'll post as Jacen Solo: IC: The Lomas Qux star system, The Unknown Regions, eight years after the Vong surrender. Jacen smiled serenely as he banked his T-65 XJ 4 X-wing toward the brilliant green and blue orb below him as he reverted from hyperspace. Then in that moment an icy fist closed over his heart, malevolent hatred, cries of pain and fury exstinguished just as quickly as they'd begun bombarded his senses. Jacen felt a gasp lift from his lips as he reached out with the force, and then all at once the dark screams and torment that had peppered his mind ceased. He'd been excited at the prospect of finally meeting the Fallanassi, after years searching and sifting through archives and bits of information, now as his starfighter circled the planet a black stain shimmered below him lit from below by an inumerable amount of glowing points of light. Jacen had seen destruction before, the Vong had been good at it, but this seemed farm more calculated, far more cruel, as the planet's now scarred surfaces slowy turned beneath him. Jacen slowly let out a breath, "R9 start recording, I want a complete holographic record." He twisted the yoke and sent the craft spiraling downward, toward the scar, which had once been a settlment. A hiss escaped his lips as he looked down at the burning structures, and bodies, thousands fo bodies, "Please let it be an illusion, a projection." Jacen swallowed as he saw beheaded corpses and flash burned victims scattered across the ground. Reaching out with the force and his Vongsense he felt the battle the torment, the hatred. Jacen knew now what he saw was not an illusion but reality. Witht he flick of a switch he cut in the repulsor lifts and slowly lowered the X-wing to the ground. He felt the curious flicker of other minds, some gripped by pain and suspicion, survivors. Jacen unconsciously felt his hand touch his lightsaber as he dropped down from the craft. Slowly in the billowing smoke he walked over to the nearest body and bent down. His eyes flashed across what had been a young man, his head was gone, severed, but as Jacen looked upon him he felt his gut contract with fear and uncertainty. Something was wrong witht he death, Jacen thought as he stood and slowly walked to another person this one a woman, her tangled hair covered by the soft ash from burning plastic. He knelt and was surprised to see the woman's eyes flutter open. She groaned slowly and pulled herself upright then suddenly the woman's eyes flicked to his face, "Its alright, I won't hurt you." The woman bit her lip for a moment then glanced around at the destruction, Jacen could see shock and disorientation, her ears were bleeding and so was her nose, signs of being knocked out and concussed by a pressure bomb, "Who are you?" "Jacen Solo," He answered as he helped the woman upright and felt her wait collapse against him, "Whats yours?" "Akanah," Jacen felt himself stiffen at the name, Luke's contact with the Fallanassi had begun with her. Slowly Akanah turned her head toward him and smiled slightly, "Did Skywalker tell you about me? I can sense your recognition of my name." Jacen nodded then turned to the destruction around him, "What happened?" Akanah's face turned grim, "I don't remember." Jacen pulled the medical kit fromt he x-wings cargo compartment then glanced to the droid, "R9, place a holocomm call marked urgent, Luke needs to know about this." The droid twettered its acknowledgement then bleeped a question, "Yes contact Danni too, maybe the vong still have some ships they can send to help rescue survivors. She's closest." He sighed and set to working helping those he could.

Approx 10 years after the end of the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, the galaxy gets embroiled in another major war, starting in the unknown regions against an alien force using race called the Rapora. The Rapora venerate, even worship dark jedi, and have poured all of their resources into technological development. Craft List: Karlur class Cruiser: The primary starship of the Rapora Alliance the Karlur class cruiser is one of the most formidable vessels ever encountered. One vessel of its type is capable of engaging an entire New Republic/GFFA Task Force (1 Calamari Cruiser, 1 Nebulon B Frigate, 4 Transports or light Support Craft, 1 Light Calamari Cruiser, Bulk Cruiser, or Assault Frigate, and 2-3 Corellian Gunships or Corvettes) It's 18 batteries of dedicated ant-starfighter weaponary make it capable of defending itself against small formations of starfighters. A pair of Superheavy Plasma Cannons are its primary armament, each one capable of penetrating a planetary shield with just a few shots. Over four dozen medium sized plasma cannons, are scattered across the hull, each one having enough firepower to equal an entire battery of turbolasers. Eight Heavy Plasma Cannons are mounted in arrays at the prow and at the ends of the manuevering vanes and are directed straight forward. A pair of enormous ion drives propel the craft which is even equipped with a cloaking device. It measures approximently 1.4 Kilometers in length and approximently 0.8 Kilometers in width. Its Hanger bay can carry four squadrons of Lakra class Claw fighters. These fighters are more then a match for most GFFA fighters. Lakra class fighter Fast and manueverable the Lakra class fighter has a top speed of around 150 MGLTs. Its almost as manueverable as a TIE Defender and equipped with a pair of plasma cannons. The craft also carries a lone Plasma bomb which is equipped with a shield disruptor and energy sheath making it capable of penetrating the shields and hull of a target before detonating. Two well targeted shots with the bombs are capable of destroying a Mon Calamari Cruiser and a volley of twelve can cause horrific damage to a Super Star Destroyer. Fortunately the bombs are slow enough to be targeted by weapons fire and destroyed long before impact. The craft is equipped with shields, but they are insufficient protection against most laser blasts. The craft relies much more on speed and manueverability to get itself out of danger.

I'm working on some designs for Rapora ships and ground vehicles. Not to mention their personal weaponary.

Its been getting some attention now...again. The Rapora seem to pop up every once in a while. We had something of a Rapora Wars thread going but because of lack of interest or knowledge It never really took off. Should we have a go ahead on this RPG thread and organize it. I always throught that part of the reason Rapora Wars didn't take off was lack of knowledge. If you're wondering what they are check out two threads in General Discussion. One the ST vs SW fan fiction, and the Rapora who? threads. I think it would make a fun RPG considering the sheer umber of sides and characters that could be pulled in. Any comments?

Kirk smiled broadly as the Emdees escorted Lara into the reception area. She smiled slightly as Kirk rose to greet her as she toweled the last bits of bacta from her hair, "Good to see you up and moving..." Lara didn't let him finish the sentence but kissed him full on before he could say a word. She grinned at the look of complete shock that rolled of Kirk's face, "They told me what you did, thank you." Kirk felt an icy fist close over his stomach, guilt on betraying imperial security shooting through his veins. Lara saw his expression and Kirk watched her expression harden, "Wait, listen to me before you beat yourself up." Kirk sighed, "What happened?" Lara swallowed, "I was on a prisoner transport, being debriefed, alongside a medical frigate, apparently some of the POWs had come down with something. Anyway, we were ambushed by an imperial patrol, a Dreadnaught stumbled upon us, gliding through an asteroid field." "And the rebels tried to fight them off, what weaponry does a medical frigate have?" Lara shook her head, "They-we didn't try to fight them off. They opened up on us, the captain tried to surrender and then..." Kirk saw tears starting to stream down her face, "The Imperial captain broadcast on all channels, he said that there would be no surrender, no mercy to cowards and he opened up on us. The frigate broke up almost immediately under the volley, we could all hear the comm chatter as it died, the cries for mercy and surrender, and no response from the dreadnaught. A volley of fire hit the prisoner transport, the next thing I knew I was floating in an escape pod, with half my back roasted and screaming from the pain." Lara looked up at Kirk, "Was that what we were serving Kirk? Was it?" Kirk looked down at his hands, he'd heard stories, most officers had, but he'd never given them any real credence, until now. His conciense began to run in circles desperately trying to understand what was happening. Finally a thought ricocheted through his brain, who am I? OOC: I'm not sure whose side I'm on now...great

This is all assuming thus far that Earth doesn't resist. Being an American, who loves creativity and life without limits... I'm joining the Rebellion. What would be really funny would be if Earth managed to kick the Imps off the planet by themselves.

Kirk sighed, he was breaking his mission rules, but he couldn't have Lara's death on his conscience, "You're short bacta...and my friend is dieing because of it." Kirk glanced up at Evan, "I can get you the bacta you need." Evan arched an eyebrow, "How?" "The Ashern were planning to redirect one of the bacta convoys, Imperial Intellignece found out. They seized the freighters and the crews and have them at a Platform pending investigation, its under minimal guard." Kirk shook his head, "I can give you the hyperspace coordinates...all I ask is that you save my friend's life." OOC: Who says Imps don't have a heart?

Trej requested an Encyclopedia Article on the Rapora. This is based off my own imagination, and therefore could change. If you wan to know more, just ask. War and conflict are the most constant portion of the known universe, they produce change, social evolution, but compared to those we now face no threat or conflict has measured up. -Holo documentary, The New Foes, by Wolam Tser Thirty years after the battle of Endor with the New Republic slowly changing into the fledgling Galactic Federation of Free Alliances a new threat arose on the horizon, the Rapora. The Rapora are by no means a new part of the galaxy, nor are they a race which hasn’t taken up arms, their history predates both the Old Republic and the Jedi Order. The history of the Rapora originally began during the reign of the Infinite Empire. Created by the ruling portion of the infinite empire, the Rapora were genetically engineered as weapons against their foes. Every one was force sensitive, every one was a warrior, and every one was indoctrinated into a religious reverence of those who demonstrated the full extent of the powers of the dark side of the force. Then the Infinite Empire fell, its members being scattered across the galaxy. The Rapora ended up on a lonely world in the unknown region and would remain there until a Chiss Expansionary Defense Force patrol, under the command of Mit’thrawn’nuruodo stumbled across the world. It was as though a darkness inside the Raporan soul had been awaken, the Chiss Patrol was sent reeling, loosing nearly all of its ships. When word of the events eventually got to Senator Palpatine, he took a ship there to make diplomatic contact. The Rapora met the vessel as it arrived, but surprised by the presence of a heavily trained dark side adept, they struck a quiet agreement. Using his connections with the Trade Federation, he managed to smuggle the design for the Droideka to the world, along with more advanced weapons designs. The Rapora council, the leadership for the world, quietly plotted to use the designs furnished by Palpatine against there neighbors. In an attempt to forestall this shortly after his destruction of outbound flight, Thrawn launched a preemptive strike on the planet, forcing the Rapora’s plans to be delayed over fifty years. Once Thrawn achieved Grand Admiral in the Imperial Navy he began to plan for the oncoming threat from the Rapora, funneling resources into the unknown regions and establishing what would become the Empire of the Hand. The Rapora however learned the strategic value of preemptive strikes. Their first strike was a debilitating blow to the Empire of the Hand, the complete destruction of the Hand of Thrawn complex. The staggering blow enabled them to engage in a broad campaign against the Chiss Consortium along with an alliance of various worlds including the Vagaari. The Chiss Consortium, desperate and hard pressed called on Galactic Federation of Free Alliances for assistance. A fleet under the command of General Gavin Darklighter was sent into the region. Several Jedi accompanied them. With the defeats that followed the realization of the sheer danger of the Rapora threat led to open war. Rapora Species. The average Rapora stands approximately 1.4 Meters tall this figure is misleading because of the average length of the species, which normally is over two meters due to a boney tail. They’re a bipedal predator, with skin and sensory abilities which are distinctly reptilian. Their skin is usually a dusty red-brown in coloration males have a crest of feathers on the rear of the skull and there body is shaped in a distinctly saurian fashion, an S-shaped neck, bird like legs and hips, and a wolf shaped skull. The middle toe of their three toed foot is oversized and curved to make it a devastating weapon during a kick. Their chest cavity, hips, and leg muscles are designed specifically for running and leaping giving them a top speed of over thirty kilometers an hour. Their clawed five finger hands make them able to utilize all human designed technology with ease. Rapora Weaponry. It is unknown when but during the Rapora’s quite existence on their barren world, they obtained lightsaber technology. The use of lightsabers has been expanded so that nearly every warrior and pilot is issued a version of this technology. The most common instrument is the Rapora Lanvahok which design is similar to a double blade lightsaber. However one blade is far shorter then the other and the second blade is at a ninety degree angle to the first. The most common ranged weapon in the Raporan arsenal is the Plasma gun. These fire concentrated blasts of superheated materials. They come in varieties as small as a rifle to ones capable of breaching planetary shields with one direct shot. There effectiveness is much greater then plasma weapons used by the Yuuzhan Vong due to the lack of slight imperfections inherent with Bioengineered arms.

Kirk Baumer sighed as he glanced up at the dimly glowing cylinder which was the bacta tank. Lara Jules hung there, her body limp. The Medical droids watched her status across several screens. Behind him Kirk heard his escort shift uncomfortably. Kirk turned to the nearest Emdee, "How bad is she?" The droid shifted slowly to glance at Kirk, "Her wounds are failing to heal, the diluted bacta our forces have isn't sufficient. We've tried adding rylca to to help, but even that has healed." Lara was stable at least, Kirk thought, bacta, damn. There was only one major source of bacta in the galaxy, and it was under imperial control. With a sigh he turned toward the trooper, I'll do this once, for Lara, "Call the General, I want to talk."

I'm releasing one each week... Trej has also asked that I do a Encyclopedia article for the Rapora. I'll have to draw some schematics... Cain could get me a link for some images if I send them to you?

Pelleaon turned to the Grand Admiral, “Sir we’ve got a freighter in a tractor beam. The Constrainer reports that the gravity well is holding.â€

The Battle Alarms had faded and Kirk Baumer glanced at the lone trooper standing in the door, "Shouldn't you be at a battle station or something?" The trooper didn't even blink and Kirk sighed, "I wonder what that was all about." The door hissed open and Evan stepped into the room followed by General Merick. Evan slammed his hands palm first onto the table in front fo Kirk, "So Baumer, we've been tracked around and I've got a sneaking suspicion that you had something to do with it...Half my droids are down for repairs and the rest won't follow orders." Kirk blinked, he hadn't done anything, "I didn't do it. At a guess Imperial Intelligence rigged some droids for you to capture." Merick shook his head, "All droids are scanned for esponage programming when they arrive, along with other modifications." "They don't need to have espinage programming. The Imperials control the production of droids. They could easily dovetail the code to the standard code so you'd never find it," Kirk answered blandly. "Sithspit," Merick said. He sighed, "That means we're going to have to whipe all the new droids and reprogram them." Kirk nodded, "So get to it...And when are you going to let me out fo here?"
