We need JI for that. It log's me out too but after 2-3 trys I manage to post. In the admin pannel its written that we don't have the last version. And I don't seem to be able to do the operation you mention since it logs me out quite often in the admin panel. Its a question of luck there.

All the people who had avatars uploaded on the last forum will have to upload them again here I think. Also JI I have problems - it keeps loging me of from time to time.

I'm happy to see that all is fine now Thanks DMUK for reopening and sticking that topic. (I hope other super super moderators will not close is again). I only posted my personal protest since the super dude who edited my post there was rude an had let it in the open. Also as you may have seen my protest was mainly directed against the forums and not eaw.net. This forums will remain active and online just in case we will have any porblems there. The transfer should be on stages and progressive. Siddus ... still you should consider that DMUK actually is a great guy. I know him and I still believe that he is not something you say he may be. Thank God that Ismael is not around since he will get very sad. Yes - we allowed eaw.net to post everything they wanted here and how they wanted since I wanted them to grow. I also want the lec community to fully feel how nice the petroglyph game designers and developers can be. We promote the developers interests (as we see fit) as much as we promote the community interests (as we see fit). There is a clear 50%-50% here. The one who edited my post was not one who we know but one who represents their forums. We do not care if we are 10 members here or 10.000 - and this maybe our strongest point. For now ... I am just sad and I have a sick feeling in my stomac. I just wait for DMUK to show up and sort this out.

Now ... until this day I enjoyed good relations with the people at http://www.lucasforums.com - I mean I never edited their posts here always try to help and understand them and make it all a constructive relation between us and them - I even sent PMs to say thanks to the developers posting there for their help in growing the community all over the eaw universe an not only here. I personally like DMUK, Popcorn and the others from .net but what has happened today just makes me sad and mad. JediIgor maybe you can upload it on swr too (*I want an unstressed link to download) - Anyway as soon as the demo is up some of you shoul dpopst a topic labeled as "DEMO DWONLOAD URLs" and post them all there (the (free ones and the need register ones, etc - just add them on categories). this demo will finnaly prove us wrong or right about EAW. Too bad Delphi said that is not modable. It's probably fully compiled and coded (Ahhhh LEC). Anyway I will install it on all the PCs from my company - he he he - so I infect them all with the EAW virus

As you may know from the other relocation topic we try to move to a better server. All the PFF members should get a email like this on 15 Jan: If you encounter any problems with the move - don't worry just post here what the problem seems to be and we will try to help you move. No its ok - One round is enough. I'm starting a topic about the move were all the updates and the problems should be written and fixed. I will alos add a new member to the moderatieng team (King). He is with Sonic one of the oldest and most important members of the CnC community and they helped Westwood community in the past like we do today. So due to their past mertis and love for Petroglyph I am inviteing them both in our PFF team to help as they can or when they can. The rule is simple: All the petroglyph members have adimn powers, all the LEC members have moderator powers (if they wish them) only Brett Tosti had and has admin powers. The fan admins are Ismael and me and GS and JI are something between an admin and a mod. All the other eaw admins can have moderator powers is they wish and also eaw moderators from other sites can ask for moderator powers if they come here from time to time and wish to do some moderateing while they are here - this system also helps the community to be more united in its diversity. Now let's go back to the relocation.

The same one as we use today - EAW Petroglyph Forums or just Petroglyph Fan Forums. Ok so all the day 15 Jan will be dedicated to the move. I'm not giveing tasks to anyone since I always admired the initiative. We have 3 goals: Safe passage to tyhe new location. Spreading the news. Emailing all the other sites to make a news about us etc. Siddus pls. take care of the PR aspects in relations with the site admins and Fosh will go in their forums and inform maybe quote JI's email. GS pls. help JI with anything he needs. I will also try to be online early on the day and later. So people - LET'S do it !

If I recall well you are already doing it from long ago in your news Thank you. Many sites sometimes cut down Delphi's info locations - you never did that. As for a date - I suggested 15 Jan this month - two days from now - but I need to reconfirm this with JI. They will find us since we will fill this forums with links to the new location - so 15 will do as long as JI will approve the move and direct the steps. I need him to confirm that he is ready for tomorow with the emailing. After he emails we make the news all over the internet. As for Ismael - he knew this from long ago. I do remember that we have searched from long ago for a new place. Anyway Ismael has changed city so probably he has no PC since he left his old one to his friend. He should be back this motnh or the next.

Thank you SonicNZ2 but your offer comes a bit too late - 3 moths ago we will have taken it in a sec. Btw I do remember that before we started these forums we knocked at all the doors of the sites interested in eaw to help and support Ismael's vision. But all refused including Lion who is more close to your team I think. So in the end Mike told Ismael that he can start his own place if he so much desires to help eaw. And Ismael did - I was in contact with him for 5 weeks before he deicded to start PFF so when he asked for help I followed him and kind off left TTO. All seemed then focused on having beautiful sites and news pages while we were more interested in influencing and helping the EAW development with our primitive means. Then the pff community was born ... and so on. We also had another big problem. We could not backup our forum do to the host's policy. So Jedi Igor using his huge intellect managed to find a way to cheat the system and after some programming he did backed it up and offered us a better place for now. Btw thanks JI! What can I say? - Your offer honors us - and I do hope to have a mutual and benefic cooperation between our forum and your site (we try to do the same with eaw.net, French sites and German ones). The PFF is more like an agora (*Greek term) so we will always be open to help the eaw and petroglyph community.

Article 11. When the DEMO and the EAW Game will be released all the NMA submitted projects will be reviewed and discussed for a better resource management. (only if their leads want to debate that). There is a coomon believe around here that first we should all concentrate on one small project to gain more experiance at moding EAW.

We don't have to delete them - I can inactivate them and make posts in all of them about the new location so when old likns will be used people will find their way to the new location. But we need to know when the emails will be sent when we should move so we make the news ? we need a date ... anywone , JI ?
