Good news:

I so nailed it! I guessed that LucasArts would release the demo between the 13th and 20th of January and they just told me it is going to be available for download on the 18th!

 

Look for the demo next Wednesday.

i hate fileplanet i refuse to download anything from them, will prolly get it from lucasfiles

The release date is still the 16th of Febuary. As for the demo, they have never given us a release date until now, so there is no way it could have gotten pushed back.

Don't worry guys, sites like FileFront, 3d Gamers, etc, always pick up the mirror same-day .

Anyone want to take a guess at how big the download will be? Not that I'm concerned about that, just interested to know.

it will probably be over 3-400 mb's but i don't know it may not be that large.

I'd agree to about 400 Mb, probably slightly larger, shouldn't be no bigger than 600Mb at the most.

JediIgor maybe you can upload it on swr too (*I want an unstressed link to download) - Anyway as soon as the demo is up some of you shoul dpopst a topic labeled as "DEMO DWONLOAD URLs" and post them all there (the (free ones and the need register ones, etc - just add them on categories).

 

this demo will finnaly prove us wrong or right about EAW. Too bad Delphi said that is not modable. It's probably fully compiled and coded (Ahhhh LEC). Anyway I will install it on all the PCs from my company - he he he - so I infect them all with the EAW virus

Their must be a ton of stuff in this game if u need 5 tortorials some thats cool and i think we will get about 4 or 5 planets to fight with

well theres Single Player campaign, Galactic Campaign, Missions, Space and Ground in all of them and then resource management, hero usage etc the list goes on.

exactly i think thats a ton of stuff this is one of the few games i will have to learn because its so differnt then the other rts where everythings the same but with differnt units this is gonna be so awsome cant wait

its not going to be like any demo anyones played before i hope most demos only have one campaign for each faction if its factions if not then its just 2-3 missions. but 5 tutorials they really are going all out down there at Petroglyph.

You do realise the suspense is killing me here... I mean with every message posted, every minute counting down, make me more and more eager to get this demo on my machine, and to play it too damn much, that I may just forget that I've got a life!
