Limit the number of the ships you can capture !

Destorying all the hardpoints will mean that most of the ship is damaged and the life support is out. You have only the engines left. Think that we are searching for a short term solution similar to the land action so we may have a chance to (via a miracle) to convince them to enable it. There is almost no time to implement any other fancy solution - like may you desire. As for ridicolus things - well this is a game and Han Solo can take on his naked chest AT-At weapons fire and survive with only a few hairs burned I know that the beta is finished .... but hey ... we can still could give them a message that we whould have settled even with this - and Delphi could explain if this can be moded or why they didn't do it originally. Maybe we will get it in an early patch. -
If you can capture land units why not ships ? Let's say that every faction can only mantain 3 small captured ships, 2 medium and one big cap ships. Enable the same heroes that can capture on land to capture in space if that ship has taken full hardpoint damage except the engines. Come on Petroglyph and LEC - Pls - this will not unbalance the game ! Edit: If you capture more extra ships - they will auto scrap after 30 days or you can scrap them then. this action will give some credits or extra near ships health/repair boost. I do not thing that this will be a non SW scenarion or that it will unballance the game in any way.

I'm starting to have a feeling that a MP 1vs1 can take a full week to finish if the both players are matched.

In an effort to calm down the community a new unit has been rapidly made by the LEC PR departament to counter balance the imperial Venator. This new unit also reflects the eaw ONLY Rebel ability of taking all that they can get from the Empire and make new units. It's was decided that a new unit should be a fighter. To keep it more realistic and SW canon like - old already designed parts have been used. http://www.scifi-meshes.com/gallery/data/502/medium/7067uglies1.jpg To avoid any misunderstanding this is a joke - Such a unit will never exist in eaw.

This guys from the magazine it seems never played Rebellion. Superficial brats. My main concern is the penetration of imperial blocades - it's silly if the imps can't do anything about it - and it was introduced since probably the rebels had no other chance to win.

Edit: And btw did you ever asked your self why we are not a big flashy site and we are hosted in the no man's land as a simple forum ? Keep asking your self this question and when you will find the answer you will know what things we care about.

Hadoken13 I'm sorry that you wish to go. When you want to post again PM me. Until then try to relax. Thank you for your time here with us. You guys just don't seem to get it. One topic was deleted and the rest were moved to preserve your rank and post count. I know that Fosh will give you a warm welcome - he is always looking for new members - but he is also smart enough not to push the limit around here - not yet anyway. You two should follow his example and take a closer look at his actions. We love EAW - we consider the developers to be our friends - and as you can see they do post if we ask ther help - so we will always act protective if people start to stop beeing constructive and just bash them for the taste of other people's saddnes. I wish Jedi Igor was around. He is 10 times more pesimist than you but he will had given you a better reason that I can do now.

LEC has been informed about the community problems and Petro also. You should read again Delphi's post. He posted that for your needs too. Some topics were closed and moved just because they were to many for the same problem and some of them just made many of us simply - sad. We are not a police state if we were Fosh will have been burned alive by now and he is still a moderator. Thank you for your time here with us. Following your wish that I edited out from your post - you will be able to post again when the Demo is out. Until then try to relax.

I don't know whats up with this guy but he is pushing it. I have edited his reply in Delphis topic a bit and disable his posting ability. If we trully were a police state - Fosh whill have been burned on the stick by now and he is alive and well jumping around the forums in his normal style.

1. In the last preview is mentioned that 4-5 rebel ships can go true a fleet imp blockade in space and land troops on the ground. -How deep the rebels can penetrate in enemy space frontline planets and how dangerous is this tactic for both sides not to mention - How is well the AI useing it ? 2. In the last preview is mentioned that the ISDs can spwan unlimited number of TIEs. -How many TIE's can actually spawn a ISD (ie AT-AT stormtroopers) and can we milk them in battle for more troops just waiting the timer to restart since the units are persistant anyway. 3. In the las preview is mentioned that only 10 units can be keept on a planet at any time. If you build more they will have to wait in orbit/space since there is no more room on the planet. - How will the transports do when the enemy is attacking the space map of that planet ? Run ? Hide ? Do they will be at any use in the planet defence ? 4. Tell us the development story of the number of planets issue. how and why it has grown from 20 to 30 to 40 and not 43 ? Why 43 and not 40 ? etc. Not to mention why not 80. 5. Can you say what aspects of EAW are moddable and what are hardcoded ? What we can do and what not.

Loll - do you want me to tell you how many people informed Dave about this "problems"? Mmmm - let's say a minimum of 5. So don't worry he knows this, and will probably do its best to speed up things. He is not blind ... you know? Anyway back to the topic. Thank you Delphi for the rescue - we too appreciate your support and feedback for the fans It’s kind of a symbiotic relation between us Petroglyph fans and Petroglyph developers and it has always been like this - for those who still don't know - that is why we react sometimes so defensive about the Petro deveoplers or even LEC.

I've tried to make it but then I have reconsidered the ideea. There is no point in complaining here when you can do it on the LEC forum. Since most of the problems you disscus are generated by LEC PR anyway. -

Pls. talk about the Venator or this topic will be closed and moved. Form my unnoficial sources I suspect that the Venator was really unbalanceing the game at a certain point. No clue why or how. -

Teradyn there is no connection betwen P and PFF besides frendship. Let's stop this arguments and go bad to our usual disscutions about ships troops and such. This situation is painful - topic moved to the bar. Pls don't make me delete it. -

Sorry mate - but we have just been assimilated by the LEC Borg ! Not really - loll - If you want to scream at LEC use the LEC.com feedback forum and aim at their General Manager this maybe will get his attention.
