  3. nexus only supports about 5-6 capital ships and 50 fighters per side in an engagment, which is fine for skirmishes, but loses a lot when you want big brawls.

  13. turn off research, its bugged anyway the nav bouy blows up because of the build time setting, change that and it will stay around longer.
  14. actually there is a bug with it, redownload the cw.big I had to make a few fixes.
  15. all the pics in there are VSDI's I think I will leave the wings open because that is how it was presented in tie fighter and it looks cooler even if it is impractical Afaik the VSD II removed the wings and added superstructure over the areas to increase the hull volume (and possibly provide mounting points for the added turbolasers) the VSDII will also have 3 main engine bells here is a little more I posted on SFM in responce to why it had wings, I think it provides a decent account beyond the official descriptions. The only other change I am making is to place the missile tubes alongside the dorsal superstructure and on the matching ventral faces we are never told where the missile launchers really are and this is a great place to put them because of the low deflection angle in broadsides for incoming damage, the large surface area and the hull mass that would be needed to fit launchers and protect them.
  16. those are source files of the textures and models and are not in the hod format that HW2 uses, they have no hardpoint information in them so they cannot be converted, if you notice in the gallery there are a lot more ships in early versions of the mod, I am working at adding these back in...

They decided to make their own model, as far as I know the Imperator III's only visible difference is a darker hull plating (they didn't paint them bright white and had some sensor absorbent material applied) and a larger reactor as well as a possibly slightly less complicated bridge face than the I or II

    heh yeah I'm going to adjust them down a lot, it's the plasma torpedos and the vaygr BC nuke cannons, the rest is pretty decent as long as you have your PDS screens up.

  20. overall an interesting episode, I wish they would have gone into the boomer / sharon rivalry a bit more instead of just just spitting it out ( talk more about sharon being a traitor to the cylons blah blah) they also didn't go into much with six after three and baltar decided to leave, I sense a definite schism with her was this the first time we've seen Hera's face at this age? I don't remember seeing it in Exodus part 2? Lee is just mean using his wife to go find starbuck did anyone else think the raptor landing effect was poorly done (when starbuck comes in really close?) Anyone else think that the eye of jupiter is a big fraking laser that will shoot down the nukes that Adama launches? WTF was up with the preview music?

The ISD II was originally supposed to have a better solar Ionization reactor, but this had stability problems so it was dropped, given the increased weapons load the shielding had to be decreased, so they supplemented the hull with extra plating, the ISD II/III upgrades incorporated the better reactor during the remnant (making the ISD (III) kick major ass)
  22. been busy at work and the time I have spent has been squashing bugs I plan on havign a new fixes/patch file out as well as a very buggy test of the clonewars stuff this weekend. as for total mod completion? never?
