But is it the acting or the character you like? Maul is cool looking, does coold stuff, and is in all the cool scenes, but there isn't really acting on his part. The few lines he delivered were rather poor in quality, making the fight scenes his only bright poitn. But there again, a fight scene doesn't take acting skill, just the ability to dance with one or two other people. People often mistake a good character for good acting... unless you have Hayden portraying the character, in which case nothing can save you. I personally like Mark Hamill. I know, looking back, his acting is weak, but look at when the films were done and then you'll see that his acting was quite good for the time period (I'm sure if given the chance to do it again he would rise to the occasion). I could be biased since Luke is by-far my favorite Star Wars character (yes, even above Thrawn!).
