  1. Defeated to a certain extent. There is the possibility that they may overthorw... tat planet... ca't think of it's name... disturbing... don't feel like running to my shelf to find out the planet's name.... yeah, you what I'm talking about.
  2. Yeah, there are lots of my cards here. Most of them are from when I first arrived, thier images from the SWCCG. Actually, I'm not too sure how many I've made. Some of them are low quality, but other's are pretty good (though most are just different pics and no changes to the stats).
  3. Basically some enslaved aliens rebel against the imperials running a hidden collection of planets that no one really knew about and then want to attack the New Republic. Meanwhile, Lando is chasing after some ship that randomly moves through hyperspace. he finds it and does some stuff, gets stuck on it for a while and then gets off. The Aliens are defeated afterthier leader is thrown into hyperspace in an escape pod.
  4. I haven't made anything for SWR in a long time. Actually, I can't recall what the last card was that I made.
  5. If I try and click "View Image" it just takes me to what I'm assuming is a German MSN group, probably where you're hosting them. the problem might be in my browser. I'm using FireFox, not IE(IE got hijacked by the about:blank thing before so I avoid using it now that i've re-formatted).
  6. You might want to take a look at the settings you've chosen for your game. Also, make sure that under "Game Type" youve got it set to the Warlords mod. And be sure that you've updated Homeworld to 1.1, otherwise the mod won't work correctly.
  7. I think it was "Hostilities End". I Turned v-synk(sp?) off and did something else and that sees to have solved the massive crystaline thingy in the background. As for my ships, most of them are still those chrome globules in the image. If it were just my fighters I would probably be able to live with it, but more often than not my ISDs and Dreadnaughts are also not textured. Very frustrating.
  8. Not sure if it's just me, but I can't see those images.
  9. I think it shows really bad writing if something like that can happen. But maybe I was just too bored with the actual story-line to notice?
  10. Think I got it fixed. Just created my own. If any one needs hosting, or if Mad's gets full, the Empire of the Hand has losts of space left.
  11. Despite rolling back to the last driver AND lowering some of the detail settings, the problem persists. At the moment I'm at a loss. I'v seen the mod run on an identical machine with no problems. The other odd thing is, sometimes my TIE Vangards will have textures and then the next game they wont! Perhaps the next updae will solve my problem.
  12. Thx. I'll lowerthe effects and if that doesn't work, I'll roll back my drivers to the last version (gotthe latest ones so that may be it).
  13. OOC; Not sure how far before ANH we are, but I guess I should get myself introduced. OC: The air was humid in the region the small space-port town occupied of the remote jungle world. Moisture hung suspended in the air filling the sky to all sides with an impenitrable ochre mist, a mist that insistantly clung to the view-ports of the enclosed Imperial Speeder. The Planet was known officially as IS-23831, a name that stuck due to the complexities of the melodic trade language used by the locals. The planet bore no remarkable features and had no natural resources to speak of other than the vast wood supplies from the jungles that covered most of the surface. Those rare areas that were not covered by foliage were small oceans or the vast grass plains on which the speeder now traveled. Indeed, the planet would not have been worth the attention of any Imperial citizen, let alone the captain of a star destroyer, if not for the lone alien occupant of the star-port now cresting the horizon and rappidly growing larger ahead, Captain Voss Parck reached up and again wiped his brow with the now soaked curchief from his pocket. Despite the best efforts of the climate controle aboard the speeder, the heat managed to make it through the thick durasteal armor of the transport. Parck looked around at the other occupants of the transport. He was seated on a bench at the back of the speeder facing forward with two more benches lining the left and right side. To his left were six stormtroopers, thier armor glistening with moisture, each facing the opposite wall, making no move and aparently not feeling the effects of the heat. To Parck's righ were two other officers, Lieutenant-Commander Cabble, his second in command, and Major Brask, security chief and the man in-charge of the stormtroopers. The two officers were followed by four more stormtroopers. The speeder had reached the outskirts of the town and was slowing to a halt before what was apparently the local drinking establishment. It was apparent because there were several unconciouse locals sprawled about the entrence. "You're certain this is where our informants spotted him?" Parck asked his second-in-command. "Aye, sir," Cabble responded, "he spends a lot of time in there, though not in the same manner as the locals. He makes his mony by beating the drunkards at some sort of board game, similar to dejarik, but far more complicated." Parck nodded, but said nothing. The Speeder had stopped and the door opened, the stormtroopers scrambling outside and establishing a defensive corridor up to the watering holes doors. As Parck stepped outside he quicly realized that the atmopheric controls in the speeder had being doing their best; the temperature outside was nearly fifty degrees. "Wait here," Parck ordered, "I've a feeling this will be quick." The interior of the canteena was thick with blue smoke, the gurgling of huuka pipes faint in the background. Ahead there was a lone figure sitting at the table nearest to the door. he wore a neatly pressed black uniform with triangular designs coloured a deep yellow. His red eyes were on Parck. The captain made to say something, but the alien beat him to it. "I am Mitth'raw'nuruodo, though you may find my core name, Thrawn, more palatable to conversation." "You seem to have been expecting me." A slight smile crossed the Chiss' face, "not everthing here is wood and dirt, Captain. I have known your ships was in orbit nearly two standard days ago." "I see. Well then, let me make this simple. I am here on behalf of the Galactic Empire to offer you commission within the Imperial Navy. Should you accept you will be transferred to Coruscant to attend the Naval Accadamy." "Are there Galleries on Coruscant?" "Yes," Parck said, a little taken of balance, " many of the galaxies greatest art masterpieces are on Coruscant, from all walks of life." "Well then," Thrawn replied, "we'd best be on our way." OOC: Sorry about the lenght. Been a while since I've done one of these. I'll try to keep it shorter next time. [/i]
  14. Aye, that's what I'm in the midst of doing. Bloody Tripod...
  15. Well, I'm not too sure if anyone else has had this problem but here it is: alot of my models don't have any textures. I'm not sure why this is. My game is v1.1, I have the latest version of the mod and it is properly installed. My resolution for the game is set at 1280x960 with all of the settings to the highest. I'm currently running an ATI Radeon 9800 in my machine. Does anyone have suggestions? Here is a pic of what it looks like. The ships are TIE Vangards, but I'm not sure what the hell that crystaline thing in the background is: http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SQAFA!kVkh8nfZyqXJOcNhris3n*Eh8mMocKUcFVGhC3LHGP5bB9U!9L37DERJbWClcMaPjVF!XOr22pVlHiAqvAEBGlYcdH7vo1FBN7jteu5k1albvYOQ/ss00000.jpg
  16. Have you ensured that you have the appropriate target in a shortcut on your desktop? If you don't, the game will only start up normally. If your problem is sound, be sure that your speakers are on and turned up (not being condescending, it happens sometimes) and be sure that the volume in-game is up. If that doesn't work, try re-installing the game and mod.
  17. Wow, looks like I'm the first real geek here! John Williams - Imperial March
  18. It is worth it to build it but, as Trej Said, build lots of fighters, especially if your going to use it offencively. If you just want to use if for the defence of a planet, building a Death Star Sheild is your best bet. Also, fill it up with detecters and force-sensetive chars, just in case the Rebels try to sabotage it. As for your second question, I once got bored and made Death Stars cost nothing and dropped their hyper-speed to 1 so they arrived anywhere in one day. i then build around 20 of the behemoths and destroyed every planet in the galaxy. The interesting thing is, if you destroy Coruscant, the Rebels can't take it and there for you can't loose. So yes, you can build two
  19. You could say the easy part of creating models is the model its self. The hard part is creating textures that work and look good. I've noticed that a lot of the model replacements for Rebellion look nice when you download them, but in game the textures are distorted due to the limited colour pallet.
  20. THx for the Help Mad. I just hope it stays as it is... Edit; It doesn't look like it's going to cooperate. mad, mind if I use your MSN to host it?
  21. That's true, but the five of them being everywhere that something important happened was a bit much.
  22. The only SW books I didn't like were any of the Ep1-2. I didn't wate time on the childrens novels so I'm not sure how they were. All of the books Trej mentioned I liked, they just weren't the "brain candy" that most SW books are so you had to sort of think while reading them. As for the Black Fleet Crisis, I read the first book and thought I was reading the second book, but it was actually the third. Strange thing is, I didn't even notice.
  23. I'm not a big fan of IG-88. The whole story about his (rather THEIR) origin is sort of far fetched.
  24. It's not the hosting I've got trouble with, though thank you for the offer. It's getting the bloody link into the Avater line on my settings that's got me. Unless there's a button that says "Use your Own" I tend to get lost.
