Hi Bill (your last name isn't F.Gates, right ?). Your ships use this automatically. Just get some ships with tractors close to an enemy ship and you'll see that blue aura around it. You'll notice, that the enemy ship is also stuck from that point (until of course, it blast the ship with the tractors away )

You can read the evidence in the first book of the Jedi Padawan series, that Obi Wan was trained by Yoda, before he was Qui-Gon's appentice. I've only bought the first three books of the series, cause I was somehow disappointed, that the books had about half the pages of a regular book, but the full price. But the story, who Obi Wan became Qui-Gon's Padawan (1st book) is not bad and if you got the time, give it a try.

Well, since it's in the news every now and then, I don't think it's forbidden. But maybe some of the younger folks could think, that we would somehow advertise using this stuff, well in theory. If you use a dial-up service, your online-IP will change everytime, that you connect, though. The fastest way to find it, would be to open a Dos-Box and type ipconfig there. You'll get two IPs and the subnet mask. One IP, I think it's the second, will be the one that you've set for your network card (if you have one and if you've set a fixed IP for that, of course) and the one above is the one, that identifies your PC in the internet for the time, that you're logged in. So that's the IP, that your buddy needs to have to connect to your pc.

fdisk /mbr should repair the bootsector on your hdd. The last time I had to try this it didn't work for me, though. If you have physical errors on your hdd, in other words bad sectors, then your OS won't install because of these, IIRC. Although flagging them with scandisk should allow you install. But either way you should better get a new hdd, cause these errors have the habit of spreading over the time and they might get to some important data sooner or later

This wouldn't be a problem, if Hastings would finally send me his patch he modified for me to change the movies and music in the TC. Then you can put whatever music and movies you like on your hdd and it'll play these instead of the original ones. -Hastings, if you read this: I'm talking about the modifications I asked of you in that last email. So far I exchanged the music in the cockpit with the metal-version of the Imperial march from Force Commander. A bummer, that this one could not be used in the TC.

A broader definition would be, that the dll contains resources. These resources can contain a lot of things (dialogs, music, pics, drivers),... although I've never seen a driver dll with other resources in it. You can try other dlls, than just those of Rebellion for finding these kinds of resources as well, you'll sometimes be surprised what you'll find.
