That's basically the fear I have. I mean, we have seen stranger things happen in Star Wars, but I'm basically worried that it'll be a series where Luke and Leia keep running into each other as kids, but never actually meet, and if they do meet, they never happen to talk about thier pasts. I can't think of the name of the TV series (or maybe it was a movie), but I watched something way back that sort of rung of that same idea and it really sucked. Basically, if it becomes a "What adventure will those two Jedi children get into this time?" sort of series and Vader is in it as the 'bumbling bad-guy' (wow, this sounds like Splinter of the Mind's Eye)...well...you know.

That's true, but then again, it's not known if there truly is a sphere of mass there...if there is anything there, for that matter. Quite simply, physics (both Newtonian and Quantum) can not explain it, so quite simply people can speculate and make educated guesses, but they're regardless only theories, nothing more. If you've ever seen the 1998 anime series COWBOY BEBOP, they too incorporate jumpgates and what-not, but to a far lesser degree, only using them to travel within our Solar System and only as far as the moons of Jupiter, specifically Ganymede and Callisto. They also refer to the "Gate Accident" where sometime before 2081, apparently, they were testing a jumpgate on the Moon when it exploded and sent enormous chunks of our rocky satellite raining down on Earth. The subsequent Deep Impact scenario it caused forced humanity to really push immigration (which had already begun at least twenty years earlier) into space, so that people live on Mars, Ganymede, and Callisto (with an attempt to terraform Titan, but it failed and two subsequent wars were fought there). Well it would be very hard to make it. You see to creat a black hole you would need an imense quantity of energy in a very small space. But I guess in the end it could be possible. Why a black hole? I mean, I've heard of the theory you could travel through time and what-not if you could travel through a black hole, but that's if you could travel through it.

I don't know what you mean by we disagree because I'm not disaree with you on anything. I merely asked the question of whether StarWars.com can actually be considered canon by official-standards. I understand the idea of "to each his own", yes, I got that the first time, what I'm trying to figure out is a truly honest question of whether StarWars.com can be considered canon in the same light the movies are. Again, what I wrote has absolutely nothing to do with disagreeing with you, and has nothing to do with the "to each his own" as far as SW canon goes, it was merely a question.

Again, the problem would be that, although we would think the inaccuracy is statistically different, we would never know this to be true until something happens that proves the inaccuracy, by some occurance, proves to be statistically essential...You're right.
