  1. OOC: TIE bombers? Evan sat in his room when suddenly his comm beeped. "Merick is that you?" "Yes, sir." "Ok we're here in orbit around the Sullust system. We're not going to be leaving for a while. We still have many holes in our intelligence and need to wait for further reports from our agents. Get here ASAP though, you can complete repairs here." "Yes, sir my strike cruiser will arrive in four days." *** A powerful fleet was amassed in the Sullust system. Two dreadnoughts, six corvettes, two ISDS, and a Vic. Most of the ships were still damaged from the last encounter and completing repairs. Personel were busy at work patching up the ships in preperation for the next encounter. General Hechtman stood in the hangar of the Valiant, overseeing last prepares. As he watched, a young ensign ran towards him. "Sir the strike cruiser we've been expecting has arrived." "Ah yes, Merick is here at last, prepare our staff for the briefing...."

  5. OOC: Ok a little recap of the battle here......Well it's pretty long The battle had been saved. The Rebel fleet's offensive had nearly become a total disaster, but now it could almost be called a victory. It had been saved only by the tactical genious of Merick and Helos, Imperial overconfidence, and individual valiancy. Somehow the Alliance fleet had escaped without terrible damage. The Alliance casulties were a victory, a frigate and four corvettes in addition to almost every other ship being damaged. The Imperials had lost 2 ISDS, a carrack, a strike cruiser and an interdictor in addition to a few ISDS being damaged. The Imperial fighter force had been devestated. Many Rebel fighters had been lost but they had clearly won in that area. So how had the Rebels won? The Imperial's had underestimated the Rebel Z-95s. Put in the hands of experianced Rebel pilots the TIEs, andled by well trained yet green Imperial pilots, stood no chance. Green squadrons X-wings had been murder to the TIEs. The Imperial fighters had come in waves, they had underestimated the amount of Rebel fighters. The Imperial fleet had been relativly thinly spread. That and the manuvering of the Rebel fleet prevented the Imperials to bring enough fire power on the Rebels to anihilate them. Lastily, the Y-wings had performed excellently. Their proton torpedoes had damaged ISDs, destroyed one and surpressed others. Clearly Alliance operations would now be slowed down and more cautious. As the ships were repaired Evan would likely be assigned back to routine raiding operations, but one day the Alliance would return over Denab.....and anihilate the Imperial forces there. OOC: Ok Mad it would nice to get someone else to do something now but I guess we'll have to figure out some other scenario.
  6. Nice to see you back too, Stratus
  7. I didn't know he had acess to nukes though.....
  8. Thank you! I can post again!

  13. I don't think the E-wing was specifically meant to attack capitol ships. I think it was designed to eventually replace the X-wing
  14. I'm sure you can Mad...
  15. The E-wing is good, but not as good as the defender...
  16. Is there some kind of comical Star Wars picture website?
  17. OOC: 15 ISDS? Well here we go... The Alliance fleet of three ISDS, two victories, two dreadnoughts, a frigate, a strike crusier and eight corvettes began pouring out fighters. Admiral Helos looked desperatly at the situation. The Imperial fleet greatly outgunned him but it was thinly spread, it was divided into three groups. One in the center, and one on both flanks. Seven ISDS were in the center group guarding the interdictor. Four ISDS with two carracks were on the left and Four ISDS with a strike cruiser were on the right. "Let's move quickly. Dive through the right flank and make sure the other groups don't have time to jump onto us while we're occupied. Ok here are my order to the fighters, begin transmiting now..." *** Evan quickly look over the orders before the dogfight began. All Z-95 squadrons sole worry was the TIEs. Green squadron was to surpress the TIEs, then escort Gold squadron to destroy the interdictor. The rest of the Y-wings would escort the fleet in their daring manuver by surpressing all Imperial capitol ships. Perhaps we can turn the tables on this trap... Twenty two squadrons of Z-95s followed Green squadron. Seven squadrons of Y-wings were also following. The Alliance had amassed almost all their strength in hopes of destroying the Imperials around Denab painlessly. Here we go... "All modified Z-95s and Green squadron launch your concussion missles and proton torpedoes." The wave or warheads did precisely what it was intended to do. Many carefully organized groups of TIEs were forced to scatter. A few attempted to stay coming straight on and paid the price. "Hunt them relentlessly! Finish them off!" Green squadron dived down and destroyed as many TIEs as they could. The TIEs never fully recovered from the first blow and the Rebel corvettes destroyed any attempts to reorganize. Within a few moments the TIEs remaining TIEs retreated and joined the nexd wave.....[/i]
  18. He has some kind of indetification radar gismo in his helmet I think...
  19. We shall wait patiently
  20. True, but things like Vader's TIE Whatever-its-called had been out for a while and the Empire could have produced a decent amount of those which could stand a chance against Rebel fighters given to capable pilots...instead they got the shieldless interceptor
  21. The Empire at its height could have gotten a decent amount out, but they didn't think it was that important...
  22. OOC: Ermm hink up? I was just intending for you to start the battle...
  23. NOOOOOOOOOOO! Ok so lets get back on topic before on of our two Emperor gets angry. So the TIE defender is cool and it anihilates the inferior E-wings....RIIIIIIIGHT?
  24. OOC: It describes the situation well. "Commander this is Admiral Helos. We have a....well I'll let him tell you while you're here." The Admiral nodded and wasted no time in begining: "Commander for your part in the Fondor operation and your latest raiding operations we have decided to promote you to Lieutenant Colonel. However, we will deal with that formally after are latest operation is complete. Due to the fact that you were busy with raiding operations, you missed the official briefign for the mission, but General Hechtman has insisted you be apart of it." A holographic image of Denab was once again lit up. Soon the naval base too apeared. "This is Denab....." *** The Rebel fleet came out of hyperspace around the Denab system....
  25. Jahled might have something diffrent to say on the matter...
