OOC: 8 ISDS?!?!?!? That's a little too much....let me modify it a little.... Evan turned to face the Merick. "Hello Commander, your plan was most excellant. Not only did your X-wings work perfectly, but we managed to steal 8 ships! Five ISDs, a strike cruiser, a frigate and a Victory class! Had you not been recently promoted to commander I would promote you know, but I guess you'll have to wait a little longer," Evan said smiling and obviously very excited. He continued, "As you can see this ship is has been very well kept. She's near completion and all we'll have to do is a little touch up. The same with our otehr seven bags. The effects off this assault will come as a HUGE blow to the Empire. We stole from one of their most defended shipyards eight powerful ships. Well anyways feel free to look around. This particular ISD is bound for another Rebel base so we're heading back to hyperspace for a while. Merick smiled and began to reply....

Green squadron came out of hyperspace at the head of the Rebel fleet. As the capitol ships came out of hyperspace, they began pouring out Z-95s and Y-wings. By the stolen ships were begining to move and were heading towards the nearest hyperspace jump point. Quite an impressive grab... Also the Imperials had realized what was happening. Everything the Imperials had was being thrown at the captured ships, but their temporary distracion with the shipyard would hopefully prove to be fatal. The defensive platforms and capitol ships in the area would not be able to cause any significant damage in time. However, the TIEs could prove to be problomatic. Imperial gunboats and ground attack TIEs were converging on the ships, with plenty of escorts. Let's see what these fighters can do... "Okay all squadrons you know what to do. Lets take out those TIEs." A few moments later both of the sides collided. The X-wings were the first one to engage and the TIEs they were up against were no match. The X-wings outperformed them in every way possible. Green squadron chewed through group after group. They scattered the TIEs and the Z-95s following Green squadron finished off the surviving TIEs. Evan then peeled off to strike at another wave of TIEs. Green squadron followed, ready for another slaughter. Using superior manuvering the X-wings prevented any serious damage. Then they were upon the TIEs again, with one pull of the trigger a TIE would blow apart. The TIEs were clearly unprepared for this new fighter and even when they hit once or twice the shields absorbed the damage. As Green squadron tore through the TIE fighters they found an undefended squadron of gunboats. "Launch proton torpedoes!" The entire squadron was soon redouced to floating debris. Evan saw a group of TIEs on his radar. He turned to saw them passing him and heading towards the captured ships. They were already being attacked by Z-95s and Green squadrons attacked from behind destroyed all the ground attack TIEs and soon forced the fighters to resort to desperate evasion manuvers. Seperated, the Z-95s picked them off one by one. More and more TIEs continued to launch but the captured ships were clearly escaping. Gunships and corvettes were now covering them from fighters. Green squadron and all the other Rebel fighter moved towards the capitol ships before they were overwhelmed, destroying any groups of TIEs in their path. Green squadron anihilated any group of TIEs that attempted to stop them. "All fighters return to your capitol ships. Destroy any TIEs in your path." Within a few moments the fleet was safely in hyperspace. The Imperials were clearly unprepared and that was obviously the key factor. A few moments more and the fleet might have been wipped out. I wonder how helpful our new ships will be...

Pretty detailed info, but I don't think it was mentioned in any "canon" sources. Probably just a fan creation I'd think...

I think we'll be ok with just discussing the fighters. So um...the Tie Defender ROXXORZ!

"Well commander its an all or nothing situation. I do belive that the Empire is going to be absolutly shocked, therefore we have a chance at pulling this off.
