Evan looked at the image, even more surprised then he thought he would be. A fighter capable of wiping out TIEs and attacking capitol? With a hyperdrive making it capable of groups of it striking with hit and run missions alone? A thousand questions raced through his mind. High command needs to be told of this! "Well how do we go about getting some of these?"

Evan sat down in his chair as the others filled in the meetings room. The two hours he had taken to rest had helped him very much, but he still felt over worked. Surely he would get a decent rest. He had yet to report this new development to high command yet, waiting for more information to be gathered. This should be intresting... "The commander here has told me you have plans for a new starfighter..." This drew nods from many of the scientists. Evan eyed the one who seemed to be the leader. "Well what can this fighter do?"

Yeah but a lot of the Rebels at the town I used to hit were newbies...So I could smash a few before I got helplessly slaughtered, and sometimes they were all cowards.

OOC:Anyone else going to join in? IC: For a moment Evan silently thought over what he had just been told. It seemed a little much, but it was belivable. Also, being a General in charge of fighters, hearing of a new fighter naturally intrested him. What could it be? "Well commander it sounds like you've had a rough time. I liked it a lot...tons of bugs, but it was fun. I started playing Battlefield 1942 and it sorted of died. I'm gonna try to play once a week just to stay a little in until the expansion comes out, at which point I'll probably play a lot more. Only problem was the developers wanted the Rebels to win everything apparantly, so the Rebel outnumbered the Imperials and every advantage the Imperials had was ruined by the developers.

Now begins the game of cat and mouse...That death star might prove problematic. If the Empire had half a brain it would exploit the fact you're overstretched and begin a hit and run campaign....but it doesn't.

and Vice-versa?

OOC: Where on earth is Scath?! IC: Admiral Helos stood on the bridge of the Pride, in awe for a moment by what he saw. He wasn't stunned for a while though, he knew what to do. "Sir we're reciving a distress signal from a Rebel corvette, it states they are taking up escape pods. "Ok it appears the Imps have found out one of our bases. Get the alarms on, alert the other ships and launch fighters. Shields up and open fire on the carrack and the dreadnought. Send two of our corvettes and green squadron to secure those escape pods and the area around them. Everyone else on those two Imperial ships and their fighters. Plot us a course to the nearest Rebel outpost and be prepared to leave. Get the Vic out of here, she's useless. Do this all quickly, lets get a move on!" *** "Green squadron's away!" "Ok men we have to clear a path for those two corvettes and save our comrades before the rest of the Imperial fleet pounces on us. Lets give the Imperial's some hell for destroying one of our outposts!" The Imperials, too, were clearly stunned. Their two capitol ships were taking a pound and were clearly doomed. The carrack, which was the first concentration of fire, suddenly explode. unable to take the concentration of fire. The Y-wings were about to take the dreadnought out and the other three squadrons of Z-95s were slaughtering the scattered TIEs. The corvettes Green squadron was escorting were dealing with most of the TIEs threatening them and all Green squadron really did was look pretty. Eight TIEs escorting five ground attack TIEs moved to attack the corvettes, this time a real threat. "Ok move to intercept." Green squadron peeled off and attacked the TIEs with a vengeance. Aggresive fighting prevented them from organizing. Another group of underexperianced pilots... They tried to stay together, but Evan's pilots were clearly superior in every way. The shields of the Z-95s prevented the TIEs from doing enough damages. The remaining TIEs scattered in every direction, but Evan decided not to pursue. "Ok back to our corvettes, do not pursue, I repeat do not pursue." Within a few moments Green squad was back with the corvettes as they finished picking up the last escape pod. "This is the Pride we're leaving now, too may Imperials to wait around. We've destroyed the Imperials in the immediate area and are transmitting cordinates to the nearest base now. To victory!" Green squadron and the two corvettes could not stick around either, Imperials were also advancing on them. "Ok we're out of here..." OOC:Ok Mad do what you want now.
