The Chinese were a nusiance. I don't think they ever posed that terrible a threat to the Japenese other than distracting them. They were a divided country and the nationalist forces were the weaker side. Without the United states in the war, the Germans would have had more manuvering space and could put out more troops. With nearly everything concentrated on the Russians, could they really have sucessfully drove to the end?

20 Sounds likely, 10 is a little shabby but if they had 20 it's easy to imagine them decent sized operations before ROTJ and keeping a foothold after ROTJ

Heh yeah, but they did begin building their own after they finished modifying the star liners or whatever they were. They lost 2 we shall say durign Endor, they had to have like 6 left to continue to keep a foothold I'd imagine and I'm sure they had already lost a few....
