Imperial officer Evahe Litok caught up with the fleeing Rebel. The Rebel swung his blaster around and pulled the triger....and nothing come out. Evan grinned and shot him square in the chest with a stun bolt. *** Evahe waited while the Rebel slowly came back to full consciousness. It took him a moment to realize he was captured and about to be interrogated. "If you coperate, this will be easy. If not....Let us begin with something simple. What is your name? What do you do for the Rebel scum?

The Victory class star destroyer Triumph came out of hyperspace in the Ord Trasii system. It had been Zarin's grand prize during his first raids. Now, it was to carry out the most important mission of his first campaign. His other missions were regular raids, but the goal of this mission was to steal two ISDs from the heavily defended shipyards. The plan was complicated, but it would work. The Triumph was badly scared. It went into the shipyards, requesting repairs and stating it had been damaged by a Rebel raid. The ship was taken in and Imperial personel boarded and began inspecting the damage. Meanwhile, the rest of the plan was set in motion. Not far from Ord Trasii, Zarin's other VSDs, four in total, began conducting a raid on a routine Imperial convoy. It worked perfectly, drawing off some Imperial forces from Ord Trasii. The Iron Grasp, along with two other ISDs and numerous support ships, came out of hyperspace in Ord Trasii. Zarin immediatly sent a transmission to the planet. "The is Grand Admiral Zarin, surrender the shipyards to my forces or die." The response, of course, was negative. Immediatly, the planet's defense forces began moving towards Zarin's small fleet. That was when the final part of the plan begun. Stormtroopers aboard the Triumph quickly moved to arrest all of the Imperial personel aboard the ship. At the same time, shuttles launched from the VSD and moved to take over two nearby nearly complete ISDs. In the chaos, it was not noticed until it was too late. Three more ISDs, also with support ships, arrived to escort the Triumph and the newly captured ISDs. Zarin smiled. The plan had worked to perfection. His original group of three ISDs and support ships immediatly withdrew. The other group, along with the Triumph and newly captured ISDs, quickly followed him. The loyalist Imperials were surprised and defeated. They could not react to each new threat in time. Two large Imperial Star Destryoers joined his ever growing fleet.

Zarin looked through the latest reports. TIE advanced and advanced gunboat research was going well, with the first fighters soon to be ready. However, the TIE defender, his true miracle weapon, was looking quite expensive. Mass producing them would require resources he just didn't have. He needed to acquire resources...but how? Raids would work nicely for some time, but how much could they really accomplish? They could give him supplies, but not the resources and manpower he needed. He only had six Imperial class star destroyers and four victory classes. How much could he really accomplish with them? How to get more with just them? He was a Grand Admiral! He would figure out something. He would come up with a flawless plan. He had to exploit everything to it's fullest. He needed men, resources, supplies, ships and shipyards. How would he get them all? As he thought, he knew he needed to contact the Rebels and see what they thought. "Get me on with Admiral Umic ensign."

"I guess I could take him in, but I'm still suspicious of him. We might as well give him a chance, but we can't put too much trust in him. I'd perfer not to put him directly into my squadron, we're not that desperate for pilots. Our casulties in the last battle weren't too bad, just a lot of disapled X-wings and astromechs. We should bring him in slowly." Merick nodded, it made sense. He too didn't trust the Imperial yet. Suddenly, a young officer came running towards them. "A smuggler had hailed us, he claims to be carrying astromechs and medical supplies. Shall we let him land in hanger two?"

One of these times I'm really gonna hit you hard Trej....I will...my last stunt was merely warming up. Even though I am just a starfighter pilot....

You do them quite quickly, so I don't think we'll have to wait too long. -
I'll assume we got three VSDs, two frigates and two strike cruisers then. More than enough to make up for one ISD. Can you actually lose a battle once without having immediate revenge? Please? I'm gonna keep playing these dirty tricks on you until you do Oh yeah and drunk smugglers are bad.

OOC: Sorry to screw you here, but it had to happen at least once. Evan gritted his teeth as he recived the order not to withdraw. What a terrible failure. He had been ordered to take his time, what was going on? How could he take his time and try to move slowly with overwhelming forces closing in? What was Ackbar thinking? A few Rebel fighters had been disabled! Nevertheless, the Rebel fighters had been busy. The Y-wings had moved to cover the Chronicle. With the mass of the Imperial TIEs yet to come into play, the Y-wings had destroyed one of the Nebulon-Bs. That left the Rebel strike cruiser in favorable terms. It could fend off the TIEs, thus allowing the Y-wings to take out the second Nebulon-Bs...at least until the majority of TIEs came into play. The X-wings and other fighters had been fending off the the TIEs, including the odd looking ones. Now huge amounts of TIEs were arriving and the Evan had ordered the Rebel fighters to retreat to the safety of the Rebel capitol ships. Not like that was safe anymore. The trio of Rebel frigates had moved against the lone Imperial strike cruiser and it's shields were already collapsing. The suicide attacks had taken their toll on the Centauri. It appeared to be retreating! As it prepared to jump to hyperspace, it took a few shots at the ISD engage with the Liberty, providing a great help. With the rebel ISD gone, the Mon Calamari Cruiser moved away from the ISD and looked like it was going to soon withdraw also. Something was funny though, the Imperial reinforcements had arrived...but the Rebels had already begun manuvering as if they were going to withdraw. It appeared as if the Rebels knew what was going to happen, and had come in preparing to lose. Why would they do that? It was no time to wonder though. The mass of TIEs was approching and Evan appeared to be doomed, due to Ackbar's order to continue to delay. "All ships withdraw, staying will only increase our loses." Well at least he had finally realized it. The corvettes fired upon the TIEs, causing a few to collide and general chaos. It was just what they needed. That prevented the TIEs from overwhelming and destroying the Rebels. The Rebels then retreated in shambles. At the last moment, a medium transport came out of hyperspace and collided with one of the Imperial strike cruisers, which colided with another. It was a last definance, one which gave the Rebels the few moments they needed to escape. *** On the bridge of the Chimera, Noreto was pleased. The Rebels had managed to retreat, but that would not save them. Intelligence knew their emergany retreat point, and the Imperials would follow them and eradicate them. Suddenly, a young ensign came running towards him. "SIR! We have a report from Yaga Minor! The situation is critical! They needed reinforcements immediatly!" Noreto could only stare in shock, he had fallen into the Rebels trap. He could not possibly have predicted this. How could they know Yaga Minor would be vulnerable? *** On the bridge of the Valiant, Admiral Helos arrived at Yaga Minor. The small Imperial defence forces attempted to defend the shipyards, but the Rebel fleet was massive and the Imperial forces weren't as large as they should have been. He smiled as he saw the shipyards at his mercy. The Imperials could not possibly arrive in time to stop him. Soon enough he was leaving. The Imperial facilites had largely been destroyed and the Rebels had taken a few ships. They hadn't taken to many for they didn't have time, but they managed to destroy the facilites and all the ships they didn't take. OOC: Sorry about that, we didn't take that many ships, but we smashed a major shipyard.

Zarin inspected the Rebel base. It was a good base, too bad it had to be evacuated. Nevertheless, he had a powerful new ally. A pawn really, it was an Alliance that wouldn't last too long. Neverthless it was an alliance. As Zarin boarded his shuttle to leave the base, he knew his ultimare goal would be accomplished. He would return to the Unknown reigions and keep in contact with the Rebels. He would plan his next move very carefully. His next series of strike had to be perfect, to give him supplies and some defections. He would have to think very carefuly. Very carefuly indeed. It would all be planned out, with only one result. Zarin's ultimate victory. He smiled evily. His plan would be perfect. OOC: Have a little romance and then I'll start striking...
-
Well go ahead and post then, we'll see what you have to offer
-
Go ahead and post now...But we have a few tricks up our sleeves...
-
OOC: Lets get this over with quickly so we can get to more evil things Grand Admiral Zarin explained his situation, which was quite complicated. He had conducted a failed coup against the Emperor, then fled to the unknown reigions with his rather extensive forces. He had plans for experimental Imperial starfighters, but needed more capitol ships to provide a threat to the Rebels. "And so that is why I have come to you, to form an Alliance. Do you accept?"
-
The Rebel fleet came out of hyperspace right on time. Evan and his X-wing were leading the charge. Behind them were numerous Rebel ships, including the Centauri, Chronicle, and Liberty. The Imperial fleet, consisting of one ISD, two strike cruisers, two frigates and six corvettes, would be no match. Around the fleet were numerous freighters and various other supply ships. TIEs began to pour out, but the amount of Rebel fighters was massive. They knew what to do and, with the help of Rebel corvettes, would easily be able to disable the TIE threat. The Y-wings were also moving to do their jobs, disabling the freighters and attacking the Imperial capitol ships. With the Y-wings supporting them,. the Rebel capitol ships would be fine against the Imperial ships. Everything appeared to be fine, but Evan had no time to think. The first TIEs were about to come into range.... OOC: Off to someone else.
