  1. Evahe shook his head. What a disaster. How will I explain this to the Advisory Council? He looked at Garik for a moment. Can I really blame him? He was confront an unknown foe with no information... For a few moments they sat there in silence. At last Evahe spoke. "General you have failed terribly. What will happen to you because of this will be dealt with later. For now we have to deal with the Advisory Council. If it is there wish to remove you of command, then so be it." "Sir, but..." "I understand, you had no information, you were going in blind. Nevertheless you could have done better. This is a disaster. The Advisory Council will not be pleased." Once again Evahe was silent. What was going to happen? Was the galaxy about to break out into another huge war? Or would it be restricted to the Unknown Reigions? Evahe knew better than to hope for that. He had to be ready, perhaps even make the first strike. "Come Garik, our meeting with the Advisory Council is soon." With that he stood up and moved towards the bridge. It was time to go. Moments later, the massive ship entered hyperspace. OOC: We'll let the politicians deal with you
  2. Oooh I could be a Dark Jedi. Pm me details I'm intrested
  3. Evahe sat in his office wondering. He had heard what had happened to General Ioor's force and for a second, in the silence, a wave of fear came upon him. What if this no thread was more serious than the the Yuuzhan Vong? What if the GFFA couldn't defend itself? Was another war costing billions of lives about to begin? Or would they stay in the Unknown Reigions? He was scheduled to meet with Ioor soon. Only then could he learn how serious the situation was. In the mean time he had put all of the GFFA fleets on alert and shipyards were soon to be put at maximum production. He was going to take no chances. Hopefully the politicians would agree, and it wouldn't be like the last war. They needed to listen to Evahe. He looked out his viewport and saw a battered ship come out of hyperspace. The sight of it inspiried fear in Evahe. The threat was indeed real. It would not be long before he knew all. He waited nervously. It was not long before his commlink beeped. Or so he thought, in the silence he could not tell how fast or slow time passed. "Sir, General Ioor is here." "Good send him to my office" Soon the door opened. From the look on the man's face he could tell the news was not good. OOC: Sorry, I felt I should meet with Mad before we start the meeting
  4. A lot I assure you
  5. OOC: Oops, I decided not to kill myself. For a moment Evan could only sit there with his mouth hanging open, but he slowly began to comprehend what had happened. Shock turned to satisfaction. Norteo was dead. The Imperials had won, yes, but it had cost them. The Rebellion would go on. No matter how hopless it seemed, the Imperials could not crush the Rebel fighting spirit. The battle was over. It was time to pick up the pieces. "Alright, all remaining Rebel fighters back to your capitol ships. We have done all we can here. The war goes on." Evan turned his craft back to the Rebel fleet before realizing the Chronicle was gone. Merick was dead. He remembered him when they first met, saving him from the Imperials in an asteroid field...... A flare of fury ignited in him. Just when he had avenged one trajedy, Merick had died. He had a new motivation
  6. Alright Mad, report to me about what happened and I'll jump back in
  7. Woo yay! It's great to see our little website growing, sadly only about 100 of those members are active
  8. Evan smiled noticing the Chimera had been taken out of the battle. Norteo was likely to be dead. With their command ship out of the battle, the Imperials were shaken up a bit. They continued to attack but it took them a few moments to fully regain the offensive. Those few minutes had been critical. The Rebel fleet had been able to recover and the main group of Rebel forces neared ever closer. The TIE Advanceds had been a nuisance but the A-wings had dealt with them. With most of their torpedoes spent, the remaining Rebel fighters retreated to cover the Rebel capitol ships. Staying tightly together, the Rebel fleet had prevented the Imperials from moving to attack the shipyards. The golan platforms had also taken their toll, but now the Imperial's superiority was taking over. The Rebel fleet couldn't hang on for much longer. Evan darted around, diving upon TIEs anytime he saw them. Even with their heavy casulties, the Rebel fighters managed to keep the TIEs off the Rebel capitol ships. Some Rebel fighters were already returning to capitol ships to refuel, rearm and even conduct minor repairs. The Imperials still had more fighters, but their bomber force needed to repair and refuel. Most of the TIE bombers had been picked off earlier. Evan hoped that meant they'd keep their TIEs in reserve until they had a group of bombers which they could cover. It was a false hope. The masses of TIEs moved in for the kill, despite the casulties they took from the crossfire. The remaining Rebel fighters could only hold on for so long before the TIEs could do as they pleased and the bombers would then.... All hope was lost. He could not surrender, though. He led his fighters in and madly manuvered through the swarm of TIEs. The TIEs took a few casulties, but it was only a matter of time before they took control and wiped out the X-wings... Then there was a flash of light and several large ships winked into existance. The rest of the Rebel fleet had arrived.
  9. "Alright Commander Baumer, go for the TIE Advanceds on our tail." Evan gritted his teeth, could one squadron of A-Wings possibly deal with two squadrons of TIE Advanceds? Nevertheless, he couldn't spare any of his X-wings. A few had been destroyed, and others had to be sent back for repairs. He currently had twenty-four X-wings with him, and he needed every one of them to deal with the regular TIEs. He fired again and saw another TIE blow apart. There is more Imperial blood to be shed...
  10. The arrival of the Mon Calamari cruisers was a great help. With more ships on the way, they'd be able to hold off the Imperials until the rest of the fleet arrived. However, Evan had problems of his own. Although most of the Imperial TIE force had been smashed into space debris, another wave had arrived and was causing problems. Suddenly, a TIE scored a direct hit on Evan. His X-wing spun wildly out of control. At that moment, he thought about giving up. The TIE closed in for the kill and the craft refused to stop its out of control spinning. Behind that TIE were more. Looking around, he noticed he had been seperated from the rest of the Rebels. Is this how it ends? But it was not to be. His destiny had yet to be fufilled. The craft stopped spinning and Evan instantly fired, blowing the TIE to pieces. More dived upon him, but Evan met them all to eagerly. He manuvered wildly, juking and jinking. In between his manuvers he fired. Sometimes he destroyed a TIE, others he merely scared one away. Evan knew they would not kill him, his time had not come. He continued fooling with the TIE pilots for a little while. At last, his X-wing pilots had a moment of free time and came to save him. Seeing even more X-wings arrive, the remaining TIEs quickly retreated, but now Evan outnumbered them. He had no intention of letting them escape. He moved to pursue. The Rebels seemed to have gained the uper hand in the Fighter battle.
  11. That's true, but then how would Yoda pay for it? He's one of the greatest Jedi, but I don't think they get payed that large a salary...
  12. Yeah, the theory that Sidious did it makes a lot of sense. Hopefully Episode III will clear it all up. Why would Qui-Gon order an army?
  13. Evan fired again and watched the TIE fighter blow to pieces. What kind of pilots were being sent out here? These Imperials couldn't hope to kill the elite of the Rebellion. "This is General Merick requesting fighter support!" Two squads of Y-wings, along with Evan's X-wings immediatly reacted. Surprisingly, most of the X-wings were still in good condition. They had been truely ready for this final battle. "Green and Blue will cover you guys, Orange will join the proton torpedo run." Groups of TIEs tried to stop them on their way, but they were no match. When they finally got there, Evan saw the three Star Destroyers covered by groups of TIEs. More inexperianced and unprepared pilots, may they all die. Evan moved to attack the nearest TIE. It juked and jinked and managed to escape to the safety of numbers. Other TIEs, however, did not. Suddenly, the Chronicle released a laser canon strike at the mass of TIEs. They were forced to scatter, and the X-wings closed in for the kill. They tried to reorginaize, and in some cases they formed small groups, but it was not enough. The X-wings picked them off, one by one. After Orange had completed their first torpedo run on a VSD, Evan decided it was enough. The Y-wings could handle the rest.
  14. Qui-Gon is Sifo Dias? Qui-Gon was never part of the Jedi council, and how would you possibly know that anyways
  15. Looking for targets, Evan saw the "Junkyard Group" in trouble. Groups of TIEs were moving on them and they had scattered. Evan led his squadrons towards them. Time to shed more Imperial blood. The freighters were in danger of being overwhelmed, but Evan's strike put the TIEs on the defensive. As Evan vaped one TIE after another, they hastily retreated and moved to regroup. Suddenly, a group of odd looking and extremly fast fighters darted in and came in for a run on the retreating TIEs. A few more TIEs exploded and any hopes of regrouping the TIEs were lost. The Junkyard Group could finish it from there. The odd looking fighters must have been Commander Baumer's A-wings. Evan then noticed two squadrons of Y-wing, they appeared to be moving to attack one of the VSDs. "Blue squadron, cover Green group. Orange squadron hunt down TIEs threatening our capitol ships. Green Squadron with me." Blue squadron covered the Y-wing and Green squadron moved with them on their torpedo run. Blue Squadron did an excellant job of keeping off pesky TIEs and the fighter sucessfully released their TIEs. The huge amount of torpedoes launch at once sealed the VSDs fate. The groups then broke up, the Y-wings looking for another large target. Out of the corner of his eye, Evan saw a carrack cruiser. An easy target...
  16. The boy took his time. He would not rush home and cause panic over what was likely nothing. He stayed where he was and relaxed, watching the ships in orbit with his electrobinoculars. He knew he should eventually go home, if the Imperials were here it wouldn't be safe to wander. So it was he began his journy back, but it was already late and the walk took a while. Out in the distance, he saw a destroyed house with several figures around it. He nearly paniced and began running. Was his family okay? When he got close enough he could see only a squad of Imperial stormtroopers, led by a young officer. The house was so badly wrecked nothing inside could survive. He nervously spoke: "Wwwwhhat happened? The young officer leading the group looked at him, perhaps thinking of something to say. His mouth moved, but no words came out. Before he could speak, his commlink beeped and he turned away. "Noreto here." One of the stromtroopers then gestured at the boy, "Scram kid." The boy ran into his house and gathered all the credits he could find and a few sentimental items. The first fourteen years of his life had disappeared in a moment. Some time later, after the Imperials had left, he emerged. Taking with him what he needed, he then torched the house and left. Destroying the Empire and killing Noreto would now be his life. *** It was the moment he had waited for so many years. It all came back to him, a boy standing by a burning house...and the young officer's face. For years he had worked his way up, now he was ready. If Evan thought he would die during the battle, he didn't care. Noreto was going to pay. Vengeance would be his. He saw a TIE and furiously targeted it. The TIE wildly manuvered to evade him, but it could only last so long. Soon it was just more space dust. He looked around and found another one. He quickly sent a barrage of laser at it and clipped it's wing. It wildly spun around, the pilot was certainly doomed. Evan's rage and thirst for vengeance now controlled him. After so many years he now choose to let it out. To free himself of all that had happened. Every last Imperial would pay. They would all die for it. He saw another TIE and moved at it. It evaded for a few moments, but another X-wing, a pilot from Blue Squadron, saw it and vaped it. One less piece of Imperial scum in the universe. Evan saw another TIE, this one already being pursued, wildly trying to evade. Evan anticipated it's manuvers and blow it to pieces. He looked for another targeted and saw a group of Imperial bombers. "All right Green Squadron, we have some vulnerable bombers. Blue group, protect us and we'll send the Imperial scum to their deaths." His pilots cheerly followed his order, they wanted to kill the Imperials almost as much as him. Almost. The masses of TIEs were difficult to break through, but Evan's X-wings managed to make their way in, and once in Blue Squadron was more than capable of covering Green group. The bombers neared a Rebel cruiser and were about to fire, but they got no further. Once in, Evan's pilots had a field day. The slow bombers struggled to evade and not one survived. Evan set off in search of new targets.... Meanwhile, the Rebel fleet was hanging on. Ever more ships were on their way and the defense platforms were a great help.
  17. Scath you're really taking over for SOCL aren't you?
  18. The boy of fourteen years sat peacefully in the fields. It was another peaceful day on the beautiful planet of Naritus. The Empire was a powerful menance, but why would they waste their time with such a small backwater planet? There were rumors of Rebel supports on the planet, but with so many more important planets, why would the Empire waste their time? The planet was clearly no threat. The boy had heard about the Empire and was quite certain they were no threat to his life on Naritus. They were power hungry and the small planet had nothing to offer. Or so he thought, for he was very wrong. The Empire had heard the rumors and had decided to investigate them. The Imperials wanted to make an example that no planet was beyond their reach. The boy raised his electrobinoculars to the sky and saw numerous ships. Among them was an odd looking triangle ship. The ship looked familiar, but he had never seen it in the sky's of Naritus... Then he realized what it was, a cold chill coming up his spine. It was a star destroyer, property of the Empire. The arrival of Imperial forces could not mean anything good, but what would they want at such a small planet? His family would need to know about it. But he was far from his house, and he was certain his family would have already seen it. He didn't immediatly move... *** Evan heard the alarms and immediatly ran for his fighter. All around him other pilots did the same. The hundreds of pilots under his command were all up on their feet and running for their ships. It wasn't long before Evan reached his fighter and launched. All around him dozens of Rebel fighters joined him. It was a huge swarm, ready to swallow up the Imperials. Once out in space, Evan saw the Imperial force was quite a large armada indeed. The Rebels looked as if they might be in deep trouble, but the Rebels were confident. The capitol ships were forming together and sticking by the golan platforms for cover. The fighters were moving to greet the TIEs and hopefully attack the Imperial capitol ships. X-wings, Y-wings, T-wings, Z-95s and fighters of many other kinds all formed together. The pilots had all known what was coming, they were prepared to die if need be. They knew that losing this battle could destroy the Rebellion and winning it would greatly further the Rebel cause. Evan himself knew he could die, for he was certain the battle would be the decisive battle of the Galactic Civil War. Evan's three squadrons were the most ready of all the pilots. Evan had been putting them through endless simulator runs and training excercises. He had thrown them into impossible situation where victory was hopless. They knew what to do, there was no retreat, no surrender. There would only be death. The first TIE came within range...
  19. Yes I am back to secretly spam up these boards I really would have like to seen allying with planets rather than conquering them with planets having their own defence forces.... Ah well
  20. Intresting idea, AA. Looks pretty good, I'd definatly enjoy reading some more.
  21. Heh, that's a pretty intresting find. An eight year old page about Rebellion... It would definatly have been nice to see some of those features.
  22. I agree with Mad on this one. The prequels weren't that great, and the guy has his points but it is a bit harsh
  23. OOC: Sorry, I probably should post this somewhere else but I'm back.
  24. OOC: I'm going to be gone for a week so.......
  25. Also, I'll be gone for a week or so. I'd perfrer to be able to take part in the final battle, but do what you want.
