Oh, great. Everything's all dandy then. Well, Fondor's defence fleet is quite powerful... The Fourth Fleet is on its way

Eh, I think this battle will end up being a "draw". Once we get it over with, we can start doings things in an orderly fashion again, heh....

We'll assume Stellar and my post's are reversed, order wise.

Evahe sent half of the Fourth Fleet ahead to Kuat. They wouldn't arrive in time for the battle, but they would hopefully be there to reinforce a weary GFFA and UDA force or to catch a tired Raporan force. If they came across the second, they would likely flee and wait for the rest of the Fourth Fleet to arrive. Evahe and Kyp boarded a shuttle and went down to Ossus. Kyp wasted no time. From there, they took an air taxi to the site. They went deep underground into a complex system of tunnels. Inside were dozens upon dozens of strange looking fighters. The discovery was amazing but it did not seem to warrant the Supreme Commander of the GFFA. During peace time, yes...but when he needed to run a war? "Kyp, this is an amazing find but I don't see why I'm needed here. Certainly these fighters are interesting but there is no way they could possibly function. Even if they somehow could, they would certainly be obselete, no?" He paused for a moment. "Why have you called upon me to investigate this? There is a crucial battle going on. I cannot waste anytime..." Kyp began to reply. OOC:Well, I didn't want to make it two sentences long and I'm not sure what you have in mind so....

Well I edited my post. I brought in BS's fleet. If there is any problems with my post, I'll go edit it again, heh. I'm getting used to it. The Eclipse better make it out of there in one piece, we may need it in the future...

OOC: Bs, I'm bringing in your fleet to save us... General Ioor was reluctant to continue the battle. The UDA force was moving to assite the Eclipse, but even that seemed too little, too late. Salvaging the Eclipse was more important than keeping Kuat with only some of it's shipyards left. Yet he could not just leave... The decision was made for him when the rest of the GFFA force arrived. The new force of fighters would be able to keep the Raporan fighters back for a time and the capitol ships were a good screening force. The massive ship continued to belch out hundreds of green lasers. Despite it's great damage it was still a force to be reckoned with. Onboard, General Ioor spoke. "Concentrate all our fire on the supercruiser. The rest of the fleet should be able to take on the Kar Lurs and Salvas." The orders were obeyed to the letter. The Eclipse instnatly began concentrating its fire on the Raporan supercruisers. The two ships now faced off, almost one on one while the rest of the ships squared off with each other. *** It wasn't long before the battle over Ossus was finished. The Rapora took a few casulties and retreated before they were completly overwhelmed. They distracted the Fourth Fleet for enough time to prevent them for arriving at Kuat, so they left. However, the interdictors prevented their immediate jump to hyperspace and they took most of their casulties on the way out. At the conclusion of the short battle, Evahe turned to Kyp. "We'll be entering hyperspace soon. I assume you want to stay on Ossus. Before I leave, what is it you wished to inform me of?" OOC: Just listening to Stellar...

Stellar, I'm not sure about the second half of part four. I'm taking the Eclipse out ASAP...

Yeah, try to bring your fleet in heh. I guess we can't use our Eclipse alone... I'll make it my new flagship and give the Guardian and the Third fleet to Mad.

Well, I'm taking the Eclipse out of there. You can take on the Rapora alone, BS...Heh... Maybe the Fourth Fleet will arrive in a few days...

Whoa, a ship designed to be able to willingly ram other ships without taking damage is knocked out by a wave of proton bombs. Your fighters were untouched by our three wings btw?

How strong is the supercruiser? I was under the impression it was similar to an SSD...Could it withstand a planet crushing superlaser blast? I want to fire upon it, but Fury is kind of on it... I think I could fire upon a Kar Lur immediately after entering the battle, before they realize what's going on...

Well, if you're going to destroy the superlaser I'll edit my post again. Let me take out two Kar Lurs first.

No resurrector? Very well then, I'll edit my post so it doesn't fire it's superlaser...yet.

Well, I guess you guys know what was being built at Gorath now. I figured since the Rapora had like 6 Resurrectors we should have a toy of our own...

All was going well so far. The UDA force had disengaged and was returning to their destroyers. They had fought valiantly, but they were no macth for the entire Raporan Fleet. If that was alll that could be mustered to defend Kuat, the battle would soon be over. If that is all they can muster to defend the biggest shipyard in the galaxy, the will be over. Fury doubted that. The ships were all of UDA design, the GFFA fleet was oddly absent. It was possible the abandoned Kuat because most of the shipyards were gone. However, why would they call in UDA forces then leave? It was obviously a trick of some sort. If they need to rely on tricks and traps, then their fleet is obviously no match in a head to head fight. We'll just be cautious and force them out. As he thought, the UDA ships were nearly in range.... *** "Have the Ackbar and Mon Mothma turn on their gravity well projectors and move to engage the enemy fleet. The Jedi starfighters can join the rest of our fighters. Their capitol ships are no match for the entire Fourth Fleet. The fighters may cause trouble, however." The Rapora were in a lose-lose situation. Stay and die or leave and allow the Fourth Fleet to reinforce Kuat. However, Kyp seemed bewildered. "If you trap the Rapora we'll have to fight them..." "Precisely." "But...what about Kuat?" Evahe winked at Kyp and turned back to managing the battle. The fighters of both sides were about to engage each other. So the Rapora are going to stay and fight eh? Excellant, we will win here and at Kuat... *** A massive black ship came out of hyperspace behind the Raporan fleet. The Rapora realized it was hostile and began deploying mines to delay it. Fighters were launched in an attempt to slow it down. It fired it's superlaser once and two Kar Lurs disappeared. The massive ship then opened fire with all its batteries... The Genisis had arrived. OOC I'll assume you had a Resurrector....

OOC: Stellar, you don't mind losing, do you? Darth Fury waited patiently. He would waste no time starting the battle. The main attack would soon begin after the probe. The plan was flawless. From what he had heard, the Fourth Fleet had been moved to Ossus along with Supreme Commander Evahe. Tuvax's diversionary strike was unnessacary. Nevertheless, it was to occur. With such a large fleet there it would only be a small hit and run but if it distracted the entire Fleet it was well worth it. Without assistance from the Fourth Fleet, Kuat was doomed. The other GFFA Fleets were either too far away or assigned critical posts they could not abandon. The plan seemed perfect. All was set now, the probing force was in position. The meger opposing force would be crushed as soon as the main armada arrived. The time was coming for the Raporan Fleet to jump into hyperspace. Kuat would fall. *** Down on Ossus, Evahe had exited his shuttle. Kyp was there waiting for him. "Admiral we discov-" Suddenly, Evahe's comlink beeped. He montioned at Kyp to stop and stepped aside. "You are sure of this?" A pause. "Very well, I'll get the Fourth Fleet over there immediatley. Evahe out." He turned back towards Kyp. "Well, I apoligize. It appears the Rapora are expected to invade Kuat any moment. I need to get the Fourth Fle-" Once again, his comlink beeped. "SIR! A fleet of unidentified ships has entered the system. We expect they are Rapora." "I'll be right there" He turned towards Kyp again. "Well, you heard. I'd love to hear about this discovery but I have some work to do. Perhaps you'd join me on the Guardian?" Kyp nodded. "Alright, you can inform me of this discovery on the way there. One second, I need to contact someone.? He stepped aside again and pulled out his comlink for the last time...

So we're starting this Kuat thing? Ok, I should be able to post later today...

Venom would go and kill Shren and Evahe? Heh... 1. I don't think Stellar wants Shren to die 2. I don't want Evahe to die 3. Venom was mooping around, I didn't think she'd do anything...

...Think about the old days? Kill someone? Cry to her mother? Become a goodie? Throw a tantrum?

Hah, I never liked Venom from the start! I knew she was up to something... Perhaps she'll be captured/killed....
