I outlined in another forum my idea about balenced characters. Thrawn and Palleon woud make excellent leader characters, good with fleets etc. C'Baoth and his henchman Luuke make the mission ready Jedi. Luke and Mon Mothma would make a good team as the two Republic leaders.

Maybe when they are first recruited their stats should just be a bit lower. e.g, as Thrawn fights more battles his leadership goes up, and up, until he carries the respect that we expect of him. Instead of it starting at 100+, start it at 30 odd and bring it up.

Especially on a planet with 10 shipyards. Grrrrrr

Mass alteration:- My guess is that it was something to do with Death Stars. I don't know how RebEd originated, but my guess was that someone hypothesised that by changing the mass of a Death Star you could get more than one into the same fleet. I'm only guessing, and i think that if that's what somebody tried, they would have found it didn't work. Any ideas people?

Yeah, navigators get better at taking calculated risks with more experience. Not quite as good as the Kessel run, but it kinda works.

Yeah, maybe the recruitment missions should just be used to speed up a natural process. If you have someone on mission then you're more likely to recruit someone than if you let the come to you. Say maybe it halves the time or something?

Hard, but not impossible. How about something related to experience, as a ship or its crew gains experience, it gets a better hyperspace rating because they can plot better courses. Not exactly what we want, but it would have the same general effect.
