Two stripped down Victory Class vessels exited hyperspace, right behind the two flanking Mon Cals. The collision was nasty, as the victories ripped their way through the engines. The gut wrenching sounds of crushed metal had the crews in a panic. The intense heat began to slowly melt the Victories, in time they would permanently be fused to the Mon Cals. The Victories then cut off half of their engines to try to direct the Mon cals into the "Huge" Mon Cal in the middle... Soon after, a coulpe of explosions could be seen in the backround toward the Imperial Fleet... It was the odd looking indeed. Was it Cloaked Rebel A-wings having technical problems?

"Disengage the cloaking field," Ordered Lord Markaine.

The ship was the Para-Buthus, an Imperial Interdictor, "Engage Gravity Wells." He gazed out at the Victories he deployed, "Inform the Victories to of their duties, Then deploy the new fighters..."

The war is on....

We got Deathstars, We got Deathstars....And you know that we got it, Deathstars!

OOC: Nice tactics, now who does that remind me of.... oh i know, Thrawn!! Anyways... i think we've both made our points.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sensors: "Sir, our sensors are registering an immediate doubling in the number of cloaked ships out there. It appears that the Imperials do have cloaked fighters... sir, um, what shall we do?" A note of panic crept into the young officers voice.

Elvis: "Okay, comms, signal the others to decloak."

Comms: "Others, um, Sir, what others?"

Elvis: "Send out the codeword 'Rancor' on channel alpha seven."

Comms: "Yes sir. All ships on this channel, codeword Rancor, i repeat, codeword Rancor."

Upon the second iteration of the codeword three regular Mon Cal Mc80b's decloaked. Two above and one below the Proud Order. The Proud Order was effectively clamped in the jaws of a Rancor.

Comms: "Sir, we have a response from the captain of the Proud Order."

Elvis: "Tell him i'll take it in my cabin."

...................

Elvis: "Well Admiral Loor, i would ask for a cessation in hostilities. We seem to have reached an impasse. As you can see i have withdrawn all my fighters bar a flight of decloaked Awings. Let us discuss this like the reasonable and sensible men that we are Admiral."

Loor: "I have given the order, no more attacks will take place. Now, i understand that you have some information regarding the attack on my forces over Endor. You may know that we lost contact with all three ships. We have reason to believe that one was taken whole."

Elvis: "Yes i am aware Admiral, and yes i do have information. I believe that there is a force user onboard your vessel along with my pilot. He will confirm what i tell you. Our source for this information is the remnants of the outward bound flight project. We located them some time ago, though i would, for obvious reasons, rather not go into all the details. The ten remaining Jedi on board returned with interesting news. It seems that they did manage to cross the void between galaxies. However what they found was not so appealing. They found the last remnants of a warrior race. Devoted entirely to violence and death, they have no comprehension of pain, they welcome it. Unfortunately their stopped being able to support them many years ago. So they emigrated. It seems that they are finally arriving."

Loor: "Interesting conclusions. My, contacts confirm that this indeed appears to be the case, or at the very least you all sincerely believe this to be the case."

Elvis: "Thank you Admiral. May i suggest that we reconvene on the planet surface along with a Jedi each and examine it, we believe that there is a ship there that belongs to the invaders."

Loor: "That is acceptable to me. Shall we agree to meet in one standard hour. Oh, one final question, you don't seem to have mentioned these invaders names yet. Do they have one?"

Elvis: "Yes Admiral they do. They are the Yuuzhan Vong."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: I hope that's all okay? Um, please, can i have my jedi back? I'll be bringing Luke down with me, i suggest we examine the ship together and then decide whether we fight together or separately. Or indeed if we still want to be enemies.

OOC: Since Iulan is nothing more than a bargaining chip at the time, I'll let Elvis, Untimely, and Igor deal with me. Igor might even want to pervert my scarce JEdi knowledge. I think I'll go Vong at the time. Boy, do I like this new implants, my dhyuram-yammosk brain is so cool...

IC:

Few Yuuzhan Vong commanders, allowed a priest to perform a careful operation like this in the bridge of a warship.

The situation, though, deserved it. Three white dagger ships, Star Destroyer, had been either destroyed or captured. The slaves, humans, some clones -what gives these heretics the right to toy wiht life?-. THye would be soon offered to the True Gods. Special villips, were now decoding part of the information stored on the white ships.

The priest growled in joy. Rjiuvan Shai, now possessed a radank arm where his left arm had been. Too had the priest implanted the right ear of his dead brother to him. SO, could he always hear what his borther had heard.

Rjiuvan recitated a prayer to Yun-Yammka, the Slayer. The God, that had given Domain Shai its natural resistance to pain, and its embrace.

Meanwhile smaller ships were seeding the newly reshaped planet, while grutchin-yoriks, where enjoying a meal of dead hulls of Imperial ships.

The blaze bugs of the glory room, changed to reveal the state of the galaxy according to the latest information on battle.

Not far away was a world that could be useful, to breed new worldships. Hoth. He would consult Overlord Shimraa on this.

OOC: I know exactly what you mean!

Everyone please check out the summary post for this story, it seems there's been some confusion about Iulan and his grandfather, turns out i misunderstood some posts and his grandfather is actually dead. My bad. :(

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Supreme Overloard Shimraa embraced the waves of pain, piercing his core. He focused on it, embraced it, let it purify and wash him clean. Good, the nerve endings on his second pair of arms had melded correctly. The Most High Priest had done a good job.

The planet called Endor had fallen. Knowledge had been garnered from the planet itself, and the strange vessels caught above it. The knowledge included reports of a conflict, a battle where a warrior emerged victorious. The story had elements of patricide, something Shimraa was familiar with, but also the bad taste of forgiveness and reconciliation. Still, this warrior sounded like the one greatest threat to his invasion, a pitiful threat though it was.

Shimraa laughed, startling the priest who monitored the Embrace of Pain. His plans would come to fruition, the Gods would be satisfied, and Shimraa would have a new home for his people.

Pain was such a sweet nectar. Rjiuvan Shai savored all he could from the Embrace of Pain, each perception opening new dimensions.

Word from the greatest of all Yuuzhan Vong had come. supreme Overlord Shimraa had agreed to his plan, the Yo'Gand's Core woudl be executed on Hoth. The sixth planet and the fifth would provide the Yuuzhan Vong with more resources to breed warships and worlds ships. So would the asteroid field.

Rjiuvan uttered a prayer for Yun-Yuuzhan, the God who had sacrifices parts of his body to create the Yuuzhan Vong.

A tongue-twister, childish in its rhymes, but of profound religous meaning, he dedicated to Yun-Harla, the twin of Yun-Yammka, the Slayer. To the Slayer he had given a world and the prisoners of the strange dagger ships. They, who had been broken by the pain.

Pain flowed, it was almost a liquid he could swim in.

Rjiuvan Shai barked a laughter just before the Embrace of Pain released him.

"Commander," spoke one of the warrior. "We are in Hoth. The dovin basal is ready for deployment."

"Good." Rjiuvan Shai the taste of sweet pain fresh in his mind. Hoth, an icy planet, Rjiuvan, had of course chosen that planet because of the knowledge that was captured on board the ships, there had been a battle. Not as dramatic as the battle of Endor, but just as important. Battlefields, were sanctuaries to Yuuzhan Vong, sacred to Yun-Yammka, to raise morale of the warriors, he would offer the battlefields of the infidels to the Gods.

Rjiuvan laughed again.

Aloud he spoke a blessing from Yun-Yammka.

OOC: Igor, you're going to need to let me know you're a Dark Jedi...remember, you've never told me. 8O

IC:

"Yes Admiral they do. They are the Yuuzhan Vong." said the Rebel commander, and the transmission ended.

Loor spoke the name again, knowing he would never forget it. Any fleet capable of taking out three of the best Star Destroyers in the Imperial fleet must be truly powerful.

The discussion with this Rebel had brought out many things. First and foremost, the Rebels had many Jedi. The Rebel had only mentioned the "ten remaining", which meant there were more.

But, even more importantly, the Rebel said there was a Force user on board the Proud Order! Loor didn't know who it was, but this was going to be a priority.

OOC: I meant for my last post to be longer, but I got called into a meeting at work... :x

IC:

Loor watched as the Para-Buthus pulled alongside the Proud Order. The timing of the attack was just right, and Markaine would certainly get a commendation for that.

Imperial Fleet Command had been informed of the alien threat, and had sent all available ships to fall under Loor's command. It seemed odd to see countless Imperial and Rebel ships facing each other, but not firing. This cease-fire was a bit un-nerving and Loor could see it on the crews' faces. But if this Vong invasion was really as bad as the Rebels thought, it would certainly require at least some cooperation between the two enemies.

"Of course, the Rebels' delusions of grandeur in wanting to spearhead the defence will work in our favor." thought Loor gleefully. He had ordered a special fleet to await word in a hidden system. When the time was right, the Rebels would be crushed forever.

"But for now, we're all going to be allies. How ironic."

Loor allowed himself a smirk.

Quietly, a cloaked figure approached Loor. Loor could not see his face, but knew this must be the Dark Jedi the Rebels had mentioned. At last, he would know the identity!

Guest JediIgor

As I approached Fleet Admiral Loor, I noticed a smirk in his eyes. He was wondering who I was. The Rebel Jedi already knew; there was no use covering it up anymore.

I took off my hood, and I saw Loor gasp.

"Lieutenant Mabak?" he exlaimed.

"Fleet Admiral Loor, it is with utmost importance that I reveal to you my true identity. I am Supreme Warlord Igomu Samos. The Emperor Evaders himself had sent me to watch over the cloaking project," I said.

Loor took a few moments to think it out, then with a blithe look replied, "It is an honor Supreme Warlord." Loor slowly got down one one knee and continued, "But why not continue to hide your secret? Why tell me now in front of all these people?" He gestured at the stormtroopers and officers walking by.

"The Yuuzhan Vong have finally paid us a 2nd visit, the Old Republic Jedis have rediscovered, is that not reason enough?" I watched Loor, a bit uncomfortable of him kneeling to me after months of being on the receiving end. "You need not kneel before me; stand my loyal servant," I said, gesturing for Loor to stand up.

"and what should we do with the Jedi prisoner? You are the master of the force, we will do as you say." Loor asked me graciously, as he was now standing up again.

"Put him in the brig, rotate security every 10 minutes, and get a yaslamari transferred to the Proud Order as soon as possible. Should anything happen out of the ordinary you are to contact me right away. I will expect the camera controls to be slaved to my quarters so that I may watch him at any time I wish to do so. That will be all."

I saluted Loor and retired into the shadows.

A dark, cold place... yes.. yes that is what I fill the world with. Darkness filled the walls of this room, with a view watching from his throne on the Imperial flagship.

Emperor Evaders looked up at the darkness.. the space covered in evil darkness. Come to me... fill me with anger.. let me see what this galaxy has to offer.

"LEAVE ME!" he ordered his guards, shining with crimson flowing robes of a Royal Guard, to leave.

The force is my strength.. the fear, the anger, the hatred.. IT IS MINE!

He shuttered suddenly... a prick that filled his bones... quaked with power and defiance. Bend to my will.. bend! Break! BReak! BREAK!

It did not break... he could not turn this power..

What annoyance is this? My servant, connect with me... I desire your service, my friend Samos.

Stretching out his mind, he followed his servant through the darkness of space.. Show me what this entails.. this power, this richness. It will be ours.. it must be ours!

OOC: Interesting, of course I know nothing of this 'special fleet' of yours, but any great leader would be, prudent, to do so.

IC:

Elvis: "I call this meeting to order." Said Elvis, sitting down at the table. Around the table sat Luke, Wedge, Elegae and their respective staffs.

"The first item on my agenda is Iulan. Luke, any news?"

Luke: "I'd like to defer to Elegae on this, he is the teacher of Iulan, and thus, at this time, closest to him."

Elegae: "My student is essentially sound. The Dark Jedi on the Proud Order is extremely powerful, yet I sense that he means Iulan little harm."

Elvis: "That's good then?"

Elegae: "No Elvis, I fear it is not. When a Dark Jedi means a student no harm, there is usually only one reason for it, and I fear for Iulan. It usually means that the Jedi will try to turn him. Which in this one's opinion, is something worse than death."

Elvis: "Can anything be done?"

Elegae: "Very little I am afraid. The Imperials need something to keep them secure; thus they will not let him go easily. Soon they will bring in a Ysalmiri, and then I will lose all sense of him. A turning is, painful, in the extreme." A deep note of long distant pain slipped into Elegae's soft voice. Luke winced. "I suspect, and fear, that whilst the boy is strong he will not be able to resist the powers of this Jedi. There are elements at work here that I do not know of. The boy has much pain in his past that may be used against him."

Elvis: "So you would say all we can do is wait and see?"

Luke: "Yes, Elegae and I have spoken before and decided that this is the best course of action for the time being. Let the force take its natural flow Elvis, and we will work with it, not against it."

Elvis: Okay, I will defer to you on this. Second on my agenda is a matter for Wedge. I want you to lead our 'reserve' fleet to our rendezvous spot. The old old one. As we can we will siphon off forces to you and you will find that all the supplies you need are already there."

Wedge: "Okay Elvis, who's my second in command for this?

Elvis: "I'm going to give you Dury on this. He's fully qualified in the cloaked fighters, and like you has a head for starfighter combat tactics. Its time to see if he can manage capital ships too. I think you're the guy to teach him Wedge, and I think you'll get along."

Wedge: "It'll be a pleaseure Elvis."

Elvis: "Finally I'd like to propose that once Luke and I are down on the planet surface we arrange a full joint staff meeting between ourselves and the Imperials. That is all gentlebeings."

Minutes later a small unarmed shuttle left the ship and dropped to the surface to rendezvous with Admiral Loor. Luke piloted while Elvis sat in the back mentally preparing himself for what might prove to be a pivotal discussion........

OOC: Untimely I'm guessing you'll be bringing 'Mabak' with you. It's down to you guys now as to what you want to do. Though I would ask that you don't kill us please. :)

IC:

Loor watched from the bridge of the Proud Order as a shuttle departed from the Rebel's flagship. He had wanted to see if any escorts were sent, especially cloaked ships.

"Sensors on maximum. Are there any escorts?" asked Loor.

"Negative, sir. Apparently, the Rebels are keeping their word." replied the Ensign at the scanner.

"Excellent. Supreme Warlord Samos, will you accompany me to the surface? The Rebel commander mentioned Luke Skywalker would be with him, and I would feel more comfortable under your protection."

"You have nothing to fear from the Rebel Jedi...they are weak and only use the Force for protection. That is their downfall." replied the Dark Master.

"Still, I would like to have a regiment of stormtroopers with us." Loor said, with a hint of worry in his voice.

"There is no need. The Rebels will keep their word and will be alone...I sense it." answered Samos confidently.

"Very well, Lord Samos."

And with that, the Dark Lord and Admiral Loor headed for the hangar. Slowly, the shuttle drifted from the bowels of the Proud Order, on what Loor knew to be a most interesting meeting.

Iulan could not help but feel angry.

Angry at himself for not being the superior pilot he should be, angry for not being the Jedi he should be, angry because he was born and fate brought him to face this...

This, though, was not only the camera watching his every move from one corner of the room, it was neither the rest of cameras hidden in the most nonbvious places of his room. It was very much beyound that.

he had lost the Force. He didn't know how, that dark Jedi could hardly have been able to shut it off, or could he?

Iulan contracted his hand into a fist and slammed it into the wall.

He repeated it two more times, blood began to come oout of his knuckles.

His anger did not diminish instead he began to perceive it as somethign almost tangible... Perhpas if I get more angry I'll be able to touch the Force. But didn't that speak against all of Elegaie's teachings?

Iulan let out an outraged cry. Stormtroopers wouldn't mind him screaming.

Gone was the regal young man that flew an X-Wing, gone was the Jedi in training. In its place was the young man who had survived in the lower levels of Coruscant, fighting and killing humans, and things that once were humans. He was a slayer, nothing more. His mind had reverted to the mind of an animal, relying on instincts to survive. Instincts that had come through the Force. The Force he had lost. The Force he could recover with his anger.

Another angry cry echoed int he detention level of the Imperial Star Destroyer Proud order.

**************************************

Somewhere in the Hoth system.

During the war Rebels had chosen to build an outpost on Hoth, not the ice planet, instead just a small platform in orbit of the fourth planet. From here they watched Bespin during the Imperial occupation plannign raids, to capture valuable Tibanna gas.

From there they had forged alliances with the Ugnaughts.

From there they had witnessed the collision of two planets. Hoth V and the sixth planet, memorable for the battle that had cost so many lives.

Now Trukas Jahl, the commander of this outpost, knew that he was about to die. First he had fulfilled his duty and send the footage through the proper channel to the sector headquarters.

The black rock-vessel that had come, had stripepd the stations of its shields. And plasma and strange creature, which devoured the metal, were weakening the structure.

There the world ended for him.

The last thing he saw was a big asteroid moving towards the station. And Trukas could imagine a booming laughter, arrogantly boasting this defeat.

Rjiuvan Shai laughed arrogantly. He had destroyed two planets. He had destroyed another base of this metal-loving infidels.

The Gods must love him, glory had been waiting for him in this new galaxy.

He signalled his controllers, to send the ships over to capture the survivors, and allow the villips to download further information on the sector.

Caressing a villip he open a link to Overlord Shimraa.

OOC: Embrace the POWER of the Dark Side! :D

Actually, I think with his background, it would be very easy to succumb to the Darkside! Besides, you've got so many Jedi...you won't miss one more! 8)

IC:

As the shuttle descended from the heavens toward the planet, Loor noticed Master Samos shudder, then slowly smile. For a moment, Loor thought the Dark Jedi was dreaming.

Suddenly, Samos opened his eyes and spoke.

"Admiral, have you ever met Emperor Evaders?"

Loor looked startled, but spit out "n-n-no."

"You will soon have your chance. Our Rebel prisoner is closer to the Dark Side than we imagined. Emperor Evaders has decided to intervene directly. Soon, this Rebel pilot will know the true power of the Dark Side!"

Loor suddenly felt a wave of calm wash over him. His fear of the Force had always been a nagging issue, but for some reason, he suddenly felt content about it. As if he knew the Galactic Empire and it's Dark leaders would emerge victorious in the end.

Loor smiled. Not just a grin, but a genuine smile.

"My lord, I await the Emperor's arrival with anticipation!"

"Of course you do..." murmured Samos.

There were no more outraged cries in the prison cell of Iulan S'Tor, at least for a while.

There was no laughter either, there was silence, icy and absolute silence.

For a heartbeat the stormtrooper believed that the young man was dead, but the movement of his chest revealed that he was sleeping.

Reality was such an abstract term. So, that when Iulan S'Tor found himself on top of the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, he thought it was real.

Coruscant was at his feet, pillars ofblack smoke rose from where building had been evaporated by a storm of fire.

The reamins of Rebel ships fell to desintegrate on the planetary shields, the image was so beautiful.

But there was more beauty to it. He ahd the FOrce with him again, it was like a divine nectar that made him stronger and powerful.

Next to him where the robes of Evaders, greatest of all masters of the dark side, Samos, the Supreme Warrior and right hand man, too was dead.

As were multiple other men and women and aliens.

Even Yuuzhan Vong. Elvis, too, and Elegaie, Luke and countless other faces that dissipated in the wind. Open yourself to the dark side

He looked at them with satisfaction, they were his kills, his. Only his. his power that had opened so many opporutinities.

The power that would kill the Yuuzhan Vong and the EMpire, and the Rebellion.

For he, Iulan S'Tor, heir to a generation of Jedi Masters, now wielded a power beyond imagination.

The Dark Side.

Iulan S'Tor woke up. In outrage he charged against the door of the cell. He cired words and curses in defferent languges.

He was angry, he had seen his destiny, he had felt the Force again. But as sson as he woke up, they robbed him. They robbed him his power.

Focusing his anger, or rather allowing it to boil he could get it back, he knew that. The dark side is stronger. Dark lightning erupted from his finger and burned the door. The Force!

The door opened, either because of alarmed stormtrooper or his own power.

One stormtrooper was burned by the blue lightning. The other in exchange tossed blue lightning on him. Lightning that came out of his pistol.

As the stunshot began to fry every nerve in his body, and Iulan writhed in agony. One thought blossomed. What am I doing?

"Sir, you realize by now that Iulan has escaped his jail cell?" directing his ponderings at me, said Loor.

"Of course.. with the ysalamiri removed he will feel the true dark side of the force." replied I.

==================

Iulan felt as if the world was at his control -- he knew deep down the feelings were wrong, yet they felt so good. To choke the necks of the stormtroopers through the force as one after another as they tried to prevent his escape from the detention block. Lightning emerged from his palm and bathed over the troopers, only the ones that ran had lived, all others he would destroy.

Suddenly it was as if he awoke from a dream. He could still feel the agony and the smell of charred stormtrooper armor, but the force was gone. The pleasurable feeling of the dark side... Gone all gone!

He could see a stormtrooper regiment up ahead, marching down the gloom detention block, obviously to escort him back to his cell.

There was but one clear thought amongst the ravaging battle going on in his head; ysalamiri.

==================

"All goes according to the plan, my Emperor. Tempting Iulan with the force om time to time will drive him mad; he will join us or feel the true dark side of the force!" I said as I bowed to the Emperor in the holoprojection.

"You have been trained well my servant." said the proud Emperor, signing off on his last words.

The hologram disappeared into the mist that it came from. I directed my attention to Loor.

"What about that meeting we were supposed to go to?"

The entire universe was erratic, as was the Force, everything was erratic. Was he erratic too?

Perhaps.

The Force had come at moments, allowing him to gain the power he knew was already his. Days, or weeks or months or eternities earlier, Elegaie had mentioned creatures that repeled the Force, ysalimiri. Iulan suspected that the Dark Jedi, who was certainly weaker than Iulan, had brought those creatures on board to annoy him.

He would enjoy killing him.

Killing? Murdering in cold blood? Is this Iulan S'Tor?

Anger seized him and he slammed a fist against the bulkhead.

Shut up, shut up, shut up.

There was a war in his mind. Light versus dark, regardless of the outcome Iulan knew that the battlefield would be ravaged beyond repair.

Damn Luke Skywalker, who verified my Force powers. Damn Evaders for creating an Empire. Damn Iulan Stora who died fighting Dark Jedi.

Again he screamed in uncontrolled anger.

Somewhere in the Proud Order the Supreme Warlord Samos savored the pain of Iulan S'Tor, his anger so raw, uncontrolled, more an animal than a man. The dark side is so sweet.

Fleet Admiral Loor, lead the Supreme Warrior to the shuttle.

Elvis and Luke touched down lightly on the planet surface. With a hiss the shuttle's hatch opened and Luke and Elvis clambered out. Barely 100 yards distant lay the alien ship. Like a crafted asteroid it lay on it's long axis. Conical, with irregular protusions all over. Elvis felt a wave of revulsion. Ships were supposed to be sleek and angular, this was anything but. The only exception he made was Mon Cal ships, with their smooth lines and lack of symetry they were beautiful craft, but this, this was something evil. He could taste it on the air.

Luke advanced to within 50 yards of the ship and then waited.

A sonic boom rippled through the ari as Admiral Loor's personal shuttle zoomed in to land. Loor ewmerged from the shuttle. But it was the other who emerged that sent a chill down Elvis' spine. Samos. Supreme Warlord. A Dark Jedi, with power unimaginable. Elvis felt the soothing prescence of Luke and smiled, nothing would happen, Luke would see to that.

Elvis: "Well Admiral Loor. Here she is, the first documented ship in our galaxy that we have access to. A Vong ship."

As Loor walked down the ramp of his shuttle, he got his first live view of the famed Luke Skywalker. Imperial propaganda had made him out to be a madman and bent on anarchy and revolution. From what Loor saw, Skywalker was much more thoughtful and calm...more of a tranquil sea than a troubled tempest.

Standing near Skywalker was the Rebel commander, Elvis. Loor thought he looked rather young to be commanding a fleet, but knew the Rebels counted on success in battle more than the Empire. Promotions in the Imperial Navy were commonly given to officers who had served a certain amount of time or who had buddied up with a ranking officer, not on battle experience or command merit. That was one thing that always disturbed Loor, but he had always felt pride in knowing his promotions were based on battle success and tactical expertise.

"I am Admiral Kirtan Loor, in command of the Imperial fleet in this sector. This is Supreme Warlord Samos, personal advisor and administrator of Emperor Evaders himself. So this is the alien technology that destroyed three of my ships...it's not much to look at, is it?"

For a moment there was balance.

At the speed his thoughts and feelings raced, the whole universe slowed down to an eternity. A moment, a eternity constrained within a heartbeat. There were no differences between eternity and instant, and in this moment there was no difference between light and dark and void and existence.

The Force was all, and he was the Force, he was everything.

As he streched out with the Force he could sense not only the people on board the Star Destroyer, he could sense the fighter escorting the fleets, the Mon Calamari cruisers.

And Krall, below. There he sensed the coming together of the Force. Light and Dark, which opposed the void. In the Rebel ships he could sense Jedi, traing specters within the Force, and far away he sensed the Emperor Evaders.

And far away in the distant corners of the galacxy he felt nothing. A void, much like the void on the planet, but instead this one was like a pest coming and destroying, everythign at it's wake, like a blacktide that swallowed entire populations, and left behind a dark patch.

Then the screaming started again.
