OOC: Immediate reaction: OOooooooh, sweet writing dude!

That hadn't even entered into my mind!

But there are somethings that i want to get said....

IC:

Iulor: "Iulan, we didn't just find the blue guys out there. We found other things too, worlds, technologies you wouldn't imagine. But most important, we made a discovery. The edge of the galaxy doesn't stop hyperspace. It accelerates it. We made the jump to another galaxy."

Iulan: "Wha, how, wow, Grandad, that's pretty amazing stuff. What did you find?"

Luke: "Some of that you don't need to know. Most of it will be documented in due time. But there are somethings relevant to our mission. We're not alone. Or at least, we don't think we are. The Taskforce found traces of another civilisation, equally advanced, but using entirely biological technology. Steeped in violence, a warrior caste. It seems that their galaxy could no longer support them and they left for other galaxies. Their hyperspace sesms slightly different from ours. They couldn't jump out of the galaxy. Instead, they had to go at sublight. They went to several galaxies, with the apparent intent of conquoring them. They left two thousand years ago. They've almost arrived at their destinations. We're one of them. They call themselves the Yuuzhan Vong. They'll be arriving in this sector, but we don't know how soon."

The room fell silent.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: Plot twist alert. What would have happened if the Vong came early? During or just after the time of the Thrawn crisis. I say it's time to find out. I would suggest that certainly for the time being there be no alliance whatsoever between Rebels and Imperials. (Swarmer pay attention, because the effect of this will be available for hacking) However, the Rebels are about to start preparing to fight the Vong, and as such there will be fleet movement in preparation that will make no apparent sense to the Imperials, until such time as it becomes blatantly obvious or the Rebels let them know. Enjoy! :)

Iulan reassessed the knowledge he just acquired...

He had thought that he knew what the war was about, instead there he was now learning of another factor in the ruthless war. SWarriors, a race of warrrior, to be precisie, violent and unrestrainable. The Empire commited brutalities to fortify its philosophy of ruling by fear or force. Now a race that considered violence its lifestyle.

Iulan said nothing and looked at an empty point in space.

After few heartbeats, he turned to Elvis. "From where will this Yuuzhan Vong eb coming?"

"From beyond Bakura?" Elvis answered

"They will be probably taking advantage of out scarce deployment of fleets there. With the Ssi-Ruuk almost destroyed, no one considered that region a priority in the war agaisnt the Empire." Wedge offered.

Luke too, drew nearer.

"Our war agisnt Thrawn is fought in the mid Rim, in the SLice. Our main fleet is dispersed along the main trade routes trying to prevent the Imps from shutting intersteallar trade down. This fleet was currenlty the only one attacking Imperial space, Yaga Minor and Satirnaynia is too far from everywhere to prove of military value, the task force was parted in three. One remained near Yaga minor to make sure the Imps don't get cocky. Your is here on Tatooine, we deem it a safe place, while we find a way to devote more resources to repel the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, the last one wass upposed to join you, but today it was slaughtered by Thrawn."

Iulan nodded.

"How strong are those VOng?" Iulan asked fearing whatever answering was to be given.

"Too strong, if the galaxy were unprepared half the galaxy would fall within a year, Coruscant thre or four months later." Brandad said. "Anyway, I want to teach you how to touch the Force. In my times a twelve Jedi, and twelve fighters were enough to drive any enemy home. Let's hope that fourty-eight fighter and twelve Jedi manage to pull the trick."

"Yes, sir." Iulan smiled, the man sounded so confident of victory, but without arrogance. It was again the feeling of age that showed in the body of the Jedi. "Does our squadron have a name?" Iulan asked.

"Immortal Squadron." Luke said.

"Welcome to it, Immortal Five." Brandad nodded.

Iulan looked at Elvis.

"Transfer granted, I guess I'll have to find a way to tell Zag and your squadmates that you won't be flying iwth them any longer." Elvis shrugged.

"This meeting is dismissed." Luke said. "Iulan has learnt of too much in too short notice. You need to go to rest. Brandad, I still wish to discuss some things with you, the rest of you find something useful to do."

"Now, if we only had a cantina built-in in this sector of the ship," one of the Jedi lamented.

"We might not have it," Wedge said with a growing smug tone in his voice. "But I know of a certain general that does have some bottles of Whyren's around."

"Oh such a forbidden pleasure, it had been decades since I tasted that." Another Jedi added.

"WE are on duty, gents." Elvis said. "I do want to discuss other thign with you. Admiral Ackbar will have my head as a decoration for his aquarium if we don't prepare a report on VOng tactics. After that we can have the Whyren's".

Luke and Grandad left first, and Wedge, Elvis and the Jedi remained in the room, the holoprjector now humming into life, they started to consider waht move could an invader follow once arriving in the galaxy. The JEdi already knowing something of their tactics began to color purple dots corewards."

Iulan found that more interesting than sleep, and he would have remained, had Elvis not ordered him to go to his room at once. He left thorugh the corridors we walked earlier and found himself ever caressing the smooth form of the lightsaber.

OOC: 8O Oooooooooooooooh!!!! Way to go, Elvis. That was some unexpected plot development. Now that hadn't even crosse my mind. :D

Evaders stopped to ponder. I bet he was thinking what exactly it is I should do.

"Do whatever it is you deem necessary," he concluded.

"Even if that means breaking my cover?" I wondered.

"If that is your only choice, then by all means necessary; I will have the fleets in your region standing by should you need them."

"Understood, my Emperor."

"Farewell my servant, but know this first: Iulan and Luke aren't the only two voices; I can feel many voices, very many.. Some at dissent, some confused.. I am not sure as to what the meaning of this is, but I can safely say there are more than two jedi running amok."

"I live to serve -- Igor out."

The holocommunique stopped as subtly as it began.

I wondered as to what the meaning of this was; not only did the Rebels find a new cloaking technology, which they probably took off the V-38's plans, but also it seems as if they have more Jedi then we thought they had. This was fascinating indeed.

OOC:

That's my point. When the books introduce the Yuuzhan Vong, by their own admission, the Empire/Remnant is not in a position to fight, yet. But what if it had arrived earlier, while the DS Prototype was around, the Suncrusher, the Galaxy Gun, the Eclipse, several Sovereign SSD's. What if the Empire had power that the Vong could RESPECT, even if it is mechanical. What if Luke had still been young, not married and relatively aggressive. What if the galaxy hadn't grown complacent yet....?

Rjiuvan Shai stood next to his brother on the bridge of the Legacy of Torment. For hundred of years, had the Yuuzhan VOng traveled in teh void. At last his generation would be the first to see the gift of the Gods. A galaxy for them to conquer and colonize. The dream of a New Yuuzhan'tar would soon become a reality.

Rjiuvan barked a laughter as the vessel deccelerated, and the first stars of a new galaxy became clear to the Yuuzhan VOng.

Bugs from various glow intensities accomodated themselves to match the star pattern of this new sector of space.

The commander Sheado Shai touched a villip to communicate with their advance agent, a Yuuzhan Vong that was sent before the fleet, he was supposed to gather information on the residents of the galaxy.

Thanks to him the Yuuzhan VOng, knew which way to enter the galaxy. In a corner where three powers collided.

A Republic, an Empire something called Ssi-Ruuk.

There were oppposition was the weakest. This glaaxy would fall, to the Yuuzhan VOng. "Glory to Yum-Yammka." All the Yuuzhan Vong called in unison as the bugs recreated a planet few lightyears away from here.

OOC: Guess who's here? It's the Vong, apparently our Jedi masters didn't know that they were coming so soon.

Vonduun crab armor isn't that uncomfortable. My yammosk brains works pretty good.

I made them come from Bakura, not Tatooine. That means that the REbel isn't in the best position to defend their allies, nor are the imps. The Ssi-Ruuk are probably already dead at the hand of the Chiss. And since the imp don't know that the VOng are there, they can't conjure up the chiss.

Well, maybe my miniyammosk brain, wasn't working that good.

Supreme Overlord Shimraa embraced the pain, let it flow over him, through him, piercing his very core. The Most High Priest stood by, uttering language long forgotton by all but a few, but the words barely pierced his conscience. The Master Shaper was pulling and tugging at his arm. So far the operation had taken two hours. No one had survived this long, not even his father had managed this without passing out.

The Radank claws were being grafted to his ribs. A second pair of arms, as lethal as the first, blood red in colour, serated and highly poisonous. Shimraa had himself helped engineer an implant to his kidnys that would immunise him. One scratch from these arms would kill a Vong warrior in his prime in just under as minute, combined with the lethality of his twin amphipikes Shimraa would be virtually invincible.

Half an hour later the process was done. A new legend had been created. No one had ever undergone a shaping like this without passing out from the pain.

For now Shimraa would rest, regain the use of his arms, and learn to use his new ones. Reports flowed in from one way villips. His servants could not see him, but he could see them, their reports were all positive. Glowbugs floated through the air, showing the positions of all his worldships, and all the forces the Gods had put in his charge.

This galaxy would not have a chance. His new arms were a sign, the grafting had been succesful, the Gods favoured him....

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the galaxy......

Elvis pondered for a time and then went to the Jedi.

Elvis: "As you can see gentlemen we've had simulators installed for your benefit. Obviously you have your choice of craft, but i would recommend that you go with the A-wing for the time being, it the mosty similar starfighter we have to your old ones, Delta Sevens weren't they? I'd also advise that you train on the X and E wing simulators. Iulan, you should be able to help put them through their paces."

Iulor: "It will also serve as a good start to Iulan's training, which Elegae A'Kli will handle."

Iulor indicated the Camaasi Jedi in the group, a tall rangy figure, whom Luke had assured him would make an excellent tutor for Iulan.

Elegae: "Indeed good sirs, it will be an honour to aid my friend's son in discovering the ways of the Jedi."

Elvis: "I'm afraid i must leave you now to make further preperations."

Elvis strode from the room as the Jedi climbed into their new simulators. He wondered how surprised Iulan was going to be when he discovered just how good this bunch of geriatric Jedi were. Elvis reached the primary bridge deep within the ship.

Elvis: "Order the Mon Mothma and the Reliance to accompany us, along with their escorts, we leave for our destination in three hours."

Two Mc80a's swung out, along with several corellian gunbships and carriers. A small but lethal fleet.

Elvis then left the bridge and proceeded to the comms suite.

Elvis: "Get me the commanders of all our shipyards"

A multitude of holograms swirled into being. Elvis addressed them all.

Elvis: "Okay, due to classified orders i'm stepping you up to full capacity, we've avoided this in our war until now so as not to exhaust our workforces, but now it's imperative that we gain as many capital ships as we can. A storm is coming people, and you're the only ones that can help us weather it. Starfighter production is to move into phase two of the Ewing production, i want every manufacturing plant moved over to the Ewing model 3 by the end of the weeker, sooner wherever possible. Gentlemen, i realise that you have questions, please, take it on faith when i tell you that your success will asve the Rebellion and probably the glaxy, in the coming months it will become apparent why, and you will receive your recognition. That is all."

Elvis left the comms suite annd headed back to the Jedi's quaters to see how they were coming along.......

Rjiuvan Shai's heart was pounding violently, today would be the first conquest in the name of Yun-Yuuzhan.

He felt the deccelaration of the Dovin Basals as the yorik coral warship exited dark space.

The world below him was a lush green world. Few clouds covered it and the azure seas could be seen from orbit.

"We are here. Glory fo the Gods." Shedao Shai cried. "Yun Yuuzhan, we offer you the world of Endor for your protection in the void. May you ever be the greatest of all the gods."

Endor, the green forest moon looked at the Yuuzhan Vong Legacy of Torment, ignoring the fate that awaited.

"Does Endor have any local species?" That was Marteh, the priest of Yun-Yammka.

"Small Ewoks, unworthy of sacrifice to the Great." Rjiuvan replied.

Shedao nodded his agreement.

"Instead of slaves, we give to the Gods a planet to be shaped in the manner of the gods. Endor, where thee greatest infidel victory was achieved, will become a tribute to the Yuuzhan VOng."

Rjiuvan barked an order to another warrior at the bridge.

From the warship a jellylike missile was shot to the surface upon impact a dark stain appeared on the surface, and eventually it began to grow.

MEanwhile the warship continued on the orbit.

The bugs then reformed on a white dagger shaped object. It was almost of the size of the LEgacy of Torment.

"The heresy of techonology," Marteh cried. "Capture the occupants of that craft, and allow me to sacrifice them to the Yuuzhan Vong.

Shedao barked another order and the ship moved to engage, coralskippers already leaving the warship.

A world for Yun-Yuuzhan, a triumph for Yum-Yammka. This galaxy would crumble.

OOC: The vong will engage an ISD, might be the Imps or Rebs. Up to you.

These guys can fly. Iulan thought for himself as he focused on the simulation.

Elvis had insisted on the X and E-Wing simulators. Bad thing was that they hadn't faced any Yuuzhan Vong starfighters until now. Which meant to run Immortal Squad thourgh standard simulations. Each flight had had prodigious results in the dreaded Korolev mission, missions with changing objectives and conditions hadn't prov a challenge at all. And flying, well, they had taken on wing of TIE Interceptors and had lowered the numbers of enemies down to twenty with only three losses for the Immortals. Now the sim consisted in facing the three flights in an all against all situation, all flights in X-Wings.

Luke lead One Flight, Iulan Two Flight, and Iulor Grandad Three Flight.

His Jedi training was proceedig well enough, with the Caamasi he felt an omnipresent soothing peace around him, which helped him on most exercises. He had learnt to move small objects and expand his "sphere of responsibilty."

FOcus. That was Elegae.

"Two Flight on me. We'll go head-to-head agaisnt Three FLight. Dual bursts, keep shields leveled."

Iulan ordered. SOme fighter from One FLight swarmed around.

Iulan's finger rested on his trigger as his newly developed danger sense kicked in.

He reacted and evaded to the left as a burst from Luke's X-wing heated the space he had just been.

Iulan that his flight had started the head-to head against Iulor targeted Luke.

He sped towards him as the simulator turned black, and his cockpit opened.

In the intensely lit simulator room.

General Elvis Miggell stood tall.

"We have a mission for you."

He lead the immortal to a briefing room.

The holoprjector came to life and focuse on a planet Iulan already knew.

Krall.

ooc: Sorry i've been away for a while - school's a bitch. Interesting plot developement.

Ic:

As Garth worked furiously on the file that had thawarted him earlier. He was determined not to let the rebel coders win this battle. He tried everything that he could think of but to no avail. Just as he was about to give up (15 hours later) He remembered the man that taught him his coding skills. He had an Almost un crackable code. But Garth had cracked that code. It was a series of basic encryptions, all backwards. Garth had heard the He Teacher had gotten caught and the Rebels had enlisted his skills.

Garth tries that code and it worked Perfectly. Perfect He thought I Am still the best

As he was looking through the file, which contained two files - one labeled project Invisible, and the other contained orders for a HUGE number of ships to be sent to the Outer Rim. Curious, it looks like the empire has won, the rebels are Fleeing. Loor will be interested in this developpement, which means i get paied BIG.

Just in case that Loor doesent pay up he takes the files that he had hacked from the Imp database about Cloakers in the imp fleet (That took at least 10 hours of hard hacking) and sends them to a secure account of his, to be sent to the Rebels on his Death or Code. Just in case

ooc: I know this didn't hash out the detailes of the hacking but i'm short on time. Sorry.

OOC: No worries SWARMER, finding the facts is what the Imps need you to do. By the way, obviously there's no way we can hide the fact that the Rebels are going into overdrive on starship production, although you will be able to find the bulk of the details, there will be several 'projects' for which all you can find is anomalous funding but no details.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IC: Elvis walked into the briefing room.

Elvis: "Okay, i have to keep this short, i'm rather pressed for time. We've received an alert from Krall, they've picked up something on their longrange scanners that you're going to check out. Cloaked A-wings all the way gentlemen, we don't want anyone to know you were ever there if it turns out to be a false alarm. Questions?"

There were none, the Jedi knew exactly what he wanted, telepathy is a usefull thing Elvis pondered.

Elvis: "Alright then, get to your ships. We'll be in constant touch, though i have to make some calls i'll be on a remote. We'll be relocating our fleet and spreading it out. You will meet me at Clack'Dor IV."

Elvis sped out of the briefing room straight to the comms suite to brief the tech crews.

Elvis: "I want channels to every single world kept open at all times. I want to know as soon as any of them go down."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: Trejiuvanat, on this mission you're going to discover the hulk of a smallish Vong corvette. You will have to make a call back to Elvis detailing it, and he'll be providing a hastily, but effectively cloaked transport to tow it back to the fleet where convenient research will be done.... :)

Nothing could happen on Krall. That was something Iulan S'Tor firmly believed.

Krall was the homeworld of Iulan Stora his grand-uncle. he had visited the planet before. Fair beaches and forest everything teeming with life. A sanctuary of the Force much like Endor.

So when his A-Wing dropped out of hyperspace he felt a soothing feeling coming fromt he planet.

"Immortal, remain decloaked. The sensors we use while cloak may serve well in dogfights. But for scanning the surface they aren't that good. Any sign of danger and we cloak and get out of here. Five, you know this place. Lead the way." Luke Skywalker ordered.

"Yes, sir."

The mission details had been sketchy. Elvis had mentioned that there were rumors of a strange meteor crashing on the planet. Given the Outbound Jedi description of a Yuuzhan Vong ships a strange meteor seemed to fit that description. Elvis had trusted them to find it by chance, which had resulted in Luke's comment of there being no luck or chance. Only the Force. Iulan thought that it would be pretty hard for Elvis to work with a dozen Jedi. Well, eleven and a Jedi wannabe, which was in it's own way very dangerous.

"Immortal, Elvis said that the meteor probably had crashed near the poles, looking for it in ice should be easier." Luke commented.

"Five, nine here. I have its location." Iulor noted.

"Yes, good." Iulan said not sure of how the elder man had known.

"Reach out Iulan, you'll sense a black spot in the Force, a void. That is characteristic for the Yuuzhan Vong." Iulor said, as if reading his thought.

Iulan lead Luke and the rest of the squadron to the position Iulro had pinpointed.

Luke and Iulan's Two Flight did a flew more flyovers while the squadron landed.

Luke, meanwhile put a call on Elvis.

"Elvis, we have found the ship, small, warship class. Corvette analog. Some of the Immortals are oging to check it out."

"Good, i will send a ship to retrieve it."

Luke clicked the transmission off. The Republic didn't have enough money to run that many relays from Krall to Clak'Dor.

"Lead, five here. New ship in orbit. Star Destroyer."

"Yes, Immortals get back to your ships, let's draw the imps away from the Vong ship." Luke ordered.

"Lead, Five. You might want to put a call for Elvis. There are more ships coming in."

Luke checked his scopes and didn't doubt of putting another call for Elvis.

Elvis: "Okay people, battle stations, we're full alert. Nav, plot a course for Krall." Elvis thumbed his transciever. "Luke, can you tell me the make up?"

Luke: "Yep, looks like one ISD II and an ISD I, plus a couple of Vics. 3 Carracks, and, uh, hang on, Immortal engage cloak now! Sorry Elvis, they've managed to dig out a Lancer from somewhere. Recommend you bring Mon Mothma and Reliance as well as yourselves."

Elvis: "Recieved Luke, i'm also bringing along a couple of gunships and some carriers, plus out three Nebulon B's. Did your guys get anything on the Vong ship?"

Luke: "Yeah, we're going to need to talk about this, along with Wedge and some of our tech guys. For now we're going to stay hidden intil you get here, and then engage while cloaked."

Elvis: "Recieved, we'll be with you shortly. Nav, you got our co-ords? Okay, make the jump. The fleet leaves in five...four...three...two...one...

The fleet of Imperial vessels looked at the cloaked fighters threateningly, despite the fact that they couldn't see them they knew they were there, they had been sighted immediately after the Imperial fleet had left hyperspace, cloak shileds were effective but had some weaknesses, it took almost a minute to cloak the fighter, this had given the Imperials a chance to spot them, hyperspace wouldn't work when cloaked, and shields would only raise up to twenty-five percent, and communication would work badly.

Imperial TIE fighters and interceptors had already left the hangar bays and came rapidly towards the lone Jedi squadron.

"Immortals," Luke's voice heavily distorted cut the momentary silence that had been gnawing at him. "We'll tackle the fighters, keep away from the cap ships, especially from the Lancer."

Each member acknowledged with a double click of the comm.

"They're at three klicks, each one take a TIE. Two missiles." Luke ordered, while Iulan targeted one TIE, the reticle was yellow and thenthe continuos tone and the red box indicated that he had a lock. He pulled the trigger.

Two invisible missiles raced towards the TIE. It exploded, as did eleven more TIEs.

"Lead, Four. There are Scimitars coming."

"Lead, Six. not only bombers, but lambs too." Iulan's Twi'Lek wingmate reported. Apparently the Imps had launched everythign flight-worthy into vacuum.

"Leave them, we'll deal with them later." Luke replied.

For a moment Iulan looked at the fighter that were coming on them. Iulan considered the deaths of the first twelve TIEs, slaughtered by invisble fists. Was that the Jedi's way?

It probably isn't, but otherwise we would be slaughtered. The Jedi would die. If this guys were so important why where they flying after all. No time to worry about that.

"Contact." Luke said, as the squadron broke to engage the TIE fighter.

The TIEs obviously in disadvantage looked pretty stupid evading imaginary shots. more than a fighter squadorn it looked like synchronized disorder. Some of the TIEs, though, despite their erratical and irrational maneuvers were killed by invisible laser shots desintegrating in the cold vacuum.

Iulan lead his flight into different maneuvers, they weren't meant to pursue the imperials fighter, but more to evade the dancing TIEs, one of them may get lucky and ram one A-Wing. Al lof this while achieving precise and precious kills.

"Two Flight break." Iulan ordered, a flight of enemy squuints was racing to their position. "Reform on m-" Iulan looked at the sensors, he hadn't been rammed, but he had been hit.

There he realized what the lambda shuttles and the scimitars were doing. The Imperial commander was better schooled than Iulan had thought. Ion mines now flooded the battlefield, some TIEs had already been hit by the ion cannons. Probably focusing on gravitic distortions the ion mines could diable the A-Wings.

"immortal, out of the furball. There are Ion mines here." Before he could turn away from the battle a new ion hit decloaked his shit.

Big trouble. Iulan didn't even consider to restart the cloak shields instead he pumped the shields to 100%, and hopefully get out.

PArtly he was relieved that no other A-Wing had been decloaked, which was good. On the otherside the only way out of this system meant flying thourgh the Imperial capital ships to get free of Krall's hypermass.

The navicomputer beeped reported the IFF code of an Imperial Star Destroyer. Iulan already knew that he was close to them.

Proud Order was the name. Iulan recalled it from the ambush after his promotion to Captain, on the Pride of Chandrila.

Iulan juked and made his A-Wign dance in space, but that wasn't enough. Enemy greeen fire had reduced his shields.

One more ion shot had disableed him partially. The momentum now drove his ship towards the planet.

My granduncle was born here, and I die here. Fitting. Anyway, there are worst thing than death.

As if controlled by his thoughts a tractor beam leveled him and drew him to the hangar bay of the monstrous Star Destroyer.

Iulan grabbed for his lightsaber and considered igniting it in the cockpit and kill himself there, somehow he did not find the courage to do so.

He was not scared instead he made himself confortable in the cockpit as the hangar grew bigger.

He could already see the stormtroopers waiting for him.

A sudden flash behind his ship and information from the navicomputer reported that Elvis had arrived. he was fiteen klicks away. he was too late and too far. Iulan took a deep breath.

He was in the hands of the Empire.

Guest JediIgor

The battle was turning towards us. With the battlefield flooded with ion mines, it would be only a matter of time before the Rebel fighters would either retreat or be disabled. This would be a great victory for the Empire indeed.

"But what's this?" thought I, as I noticed an X-Wing slowly landing in the hangar, all the way across from me. Caught by a tractor beam perhaps?

The Rebel pilot jumped out of the cockpit; I knew he did not stand a chance against a legion of stormtroopers, but I could always call for reinforcements should the need ever arise. Now was not the time to blow my cover.

The Rebel had a lightsaber. "How interesting.. a Jedi," I wondered.

A thousand different thoughts crossed Iulan's mind. Run from the hangar steal a TIE and leave. Run from the hangar use his lightsaber to cut his way thourgh the Star Destroyer and sabotage it. Crouch in the cockpit and act as if he were demented.

None of them, though, seemed reasonable.

In the hangar two dozen stormtroopers had been waiting for him. An imperial officer too stood there regally.

Iulan walked out of his cockpit.

"Surrender weapons," the officer stated.

Iulan handled his recently acquired lightsaber.

"All of them." He repeated.

From his boot he took out his vibroblade and gave it to the imperial.

"Thank you, come with us." He added politely.

Iulan followed them. There he saw a dark imposing figure in the shadows of the hangar building.

He came closer to the officer.

"You will allow me to take the REbel."

"Certainly, I will allow him to take the Rebel." the officer responded, Iulan certainly felt something in the Force.

"Give me his weapon."

"Certainly, I will give you his weapon." The officer, his mind absolutely absent, gave the dark figure the lightsaber.

"Good."

"I'm pleased to serve." And he walked away.

Iulan was alone with the man.

"So," Iulan asked, carefully, "How it's like to serve the Dark Side?"

The man smiled.

Luke: "Elvis, i'm going to need everything you've got. Iulan's been captured, and there's a Dark Jedi on board that ship, i'm certain."

There was no response, Luke's call echoed out unanswered, until, yes, he felt the rending of the fabric of space, Elvis was in system.

A huge Mc80b sped in, flanked by a pair of MC80a's plus several gunships and frigates. The Imperials were outnumbered, but had a prisoner. This wasn't just going to be a turkey shoot.

Elvis: "Comms, raise me a channel to the Star Destroyer. I wonder if they know why we're here...."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: Well Imps, this is your cue, think about how you respond to the next few posts, Untimely, would you as an mperial even listen to a filthy Rebel...... Igor, would you be too obsessed with breaking a single Jedi to care, or even believe stories of an alien menace....... The Vong don't care what you do.... but it might affect the Rebels and yourselves.....

OOC: Yep, it's time for our Imps to wake up. I had the Vong take on an Impstar earlier (although, I hadn't decided at that time whether to make it Imp or Rebel)...

OOC: Someone give me a recap of what has happened. Perhaps a new topic with a summary and personae dramatis would help. Then I can see where I fit in.

OOC: Roger wilco sir!

Elvis' fleet has no ISD's so unless there's another Rebel fleet that i don't know about then it's an IMperial ISD being engaged, which might provoke the Imps into at least talking if Untimely has recieved a frantic distress call. In fact.....

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

IC:

Comms: "Sir, take a look at this, some sort of distress call."

Elvis: "Can ou tell me who it's from and where they are? I don't like the sound of this."

Comms: "They are ISD Bellicose above Endor. It's garbled and loops but it sounds like theu're under attack from some sort of alien craft that looks like a large asteroid, their weapons are having negligible effect on it, yet they judge it to only be a couple of hundred meters long at the most."

Elvis: "You'd better get me that ISD Proud Order, they're going to want to hear what i have to say."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: Well ladies and gentlemen of the Imperial persuasion, this is your chance to hear about the Vong, and decide if you want to create an unholy alliance, or not! I shall post a summary of what's already happened in another topic.

OOC: Sorry I've been away...once again RL rears it's ugly head. Anyways...

IC:

Loor stood with his hands clasped behind his back. The battle was going as planned, with an unexpected bonus. The capture of a Rebel pilot, and with a lightsaber no less! He looked forward to his chat with this Rebel.

But that would need to be later. The events at hand were enough for Loor to concentrate on. A Rebel fleet had just entered the fray, and though they were doomed to failure, Loor knew he needed to focus.

"Sir, the Ion mines are keeping the cloaked fighters busy. They shouldn't cause us too much trouble for the time being." said Loor's tactical aid.

"I want to be sure of that. Assign the Cruel Talon and the Rebel's Misery to keep an eye on them, and move Alpha and Bravo flights over to harass."

Loor was just about to assign an attack run on the oncoming Rebel cruisers when his Comm officer gave a nervous report.

"Sir...this is very...odd. We are getting a distress call from Bellicose. They are reporting some difficulty around Endor...and they are broadcasting the distress call on all channels...including the Rebels'. Also, we are receiving a hail from the Rebels! They are requesting acknowledgement from our Commanding Officer. Should we inform Admiral Nevit back with the fleet?"

"Negative...acknowledge the distress call from Bellicose and inform them we are sending reinforcements. Send word to ISD II Heartless and their escorts to aid Bellicose." Loor ordered. He then jotted something on a datapad and handed it to the Tactical Officer. The Tac looked at it and hurried off to Communications.

"Now, then....let's have a talk with the Rebels."

OOC: Ooooh, secret plans huh? Btw when i say Justice is a HUGE Mc80b, i mean it's about 3 miles long, and much more heavily armed than Home One, take it to be somewhere in the middle of an ISD II and an SSD. It's better than Mon Remonda. That said, she'll need to hang back given her precious cargo, which of course you don't know about......

OOC:

3 miles long, huh? I guess if it's that big, then it would take some heavy firepower to damage it... I wonder if we can muster that up...

BTW, I've not commented on my last few ranks, but since I'm now a Fleet Admiral, I'm kicking Nevit's arse out of command of my sector!

We'll just say Nevit made too many mistakes and was re-assigned to an Imperial Garrison on some little Rim system. He's now in charge of hauling rubber dog s#!t to Coruscant. :P

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Elvis: I'm willing to listen to your Rebel ramblings...remember, I'm an old fighter pilot so I'm willing to listen to reason, especially if Bellicose, Heartless, and my reinforcements are lost! (Hint, Hint)

Rjiuvan Shai allowed a quck smile to show. he was after all the commander now, shedao had died when a part of the coral ship had broken and was now incrusted in his chest.

The battle had been a thriumph for the Yuuzhan Vong, the dagger shaped vessel, what these infidel called a star destroyer, had been rendered defenseless. Their little fighters slaughtered by the overwhelming coralskippers.

Two slaveships had gone over with an escort of warriors to capture the vessel.

The slaveships docked, using a tamed grutchin to open a part of the hull and enter the vessel, the dovin basal of the Legacy of Torment was holding the Bellicose.

The blaze bugs representing the BEllciose in the Glory Room separted themselves, the infidels have destroyed themselves.

So they do know how to die.

The priest next to him shivered.

"Commander Shai, the gods will not pleased to see these enemies offering such a worthy death."

Rjiuvan said nothing.

The blaze bug rearranged showing two more dagger vessel in the area, modified vilips identified one of them . Heartless. had these infidels, much like themselves had severed parts of their body to their Gods? Impossible, yet they had offered such a wothy death. Maybe they were not so stranged to the Yuuzhan Vong.

He would destroy one vessel, the other one he would capture for the sake of the true gods.

He smiled as the blaze bug depicted the planet below burning like an inferno. Their biological agents had worked...
