As it has been repeated on multiple forums, The SSD will be full size, 11-12 times the size of a ISD, which will not be as gigantic as you think. The Rebel Level 5 Space Station is about the same size. About the differance between the mini mod and LoW, the mini mod extends from current time period to Ep. 6 while the full mod extends from current time period to "The Unifying Force" and will include Yuuzhan Vong and hundreds of other things the minimod wont.

How about giving planets multiple maps?

For Example in Crismon Empire Colonel Shevs forces had control of the one city and the Mirit Sin's forces had a base in the mountain outskirts.

 

Space maps could only be controled by 1 person since ships have sensors to detect any ships that come with in the planet.

 

Another thing is what if ships collided between a route of two planets?

Petro already stated that 2 fleets would just pass each other.

 

As for the multiple maps per planet, it may be possible.

what i personaly realy would want to see is multiple bases maps on a planet like said above. I mean it isnt realistic that there is only 1 militairy base per map. but then again, how would you choose wich map to attack, and also would they be able to influence each other for example if you attack base A and base B would have units, would base B be able to send extra reinforcements to the battle?

I personaly dont like small maps, and also i would like to be able to place defenses around your base,

for example if your base only have 1 entrance, you should be able to put several defenses on several places where you want it not where there are buildpads, because thats unlogical...

hm since the full game is in the stores and hit the shelves now,

there is no map editor in the game

and

i doubt you can have multiple bases p/map

also since you dont have 'free base building, there could be some limits

Cant get any more Texture on the SSD then that Mega lol, thats exactly how the SSD looks right thier.

The model is buitiful, but the texture is fairy blank

Remember how far away that thing is. A texture (like Star Destroyer armor) on a ship more than twelve kilometers long (we see the whole thing, think about how far away in space we would be) would only appear as a solid color. I'm sure up close the texture is probably less uniform.
