hehe.. my favorite team of all time is the blackhawks, only because I was raised in Illinois... all my all time fav's are from chicago.. Bulls... Bears... Cubs.. I know.. I know.. not a good track record.. anyways.. but now through my many years of growing up i have learned to love those which are not only from my old stomping grounds.. now i love the Spurs for basketball and the Calgary Flames for Hockey... with a close second being the New Jersey Devils... but I still am a die hard Cubs and Bears fan...

GO FLAMES!!! :D

Day I snorted my father's ashes, by Keith Richards

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=446543&in_page_id=1773

The Rolling Stones guitarist has told how he snorted his own father's ashes in a drugs binge.

"The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," he said.

The 63-year-old detailed in a magazine interview how he mixed the ashes with cocaine and inhaled them.

I was reading about that on the way in to work!

Email I just got:

Hi I am trying to help a researcher (*********@yahoo.co.in) to locate a copy of the original description of the copepod Paracalanus brevispinatus published in Acta Zootaxonomica Sinica 3 : 215-223 : 1966. I note that your holdings of this journal start at volume 3 but are "imperfect". Do you have the relevant issue and would you be able to supply him/her with a copy? Thanks, ******** (Zoological Record)

My day has begun..

The funniest thing is that the journal in question is entirely in Chinese, besides the title year, and volume number.. some kind of insect by the rather scientific illustrations. If i'm bored enough I might scan it later for want of being completely pointless.

Haha, nice JH. I got 7 out of 7 and a score of $2,456. I was kinda surprised .. seeing as I don't know anything about Dick Chainy (Heck when they said his name, it took me a while to register who he was - and the first thing that came to mind was the American politician that shot his friend  )

OK, the NY Rangers ended up losing the game two nights ago in overtime, thus giving them only one point. If they either win tonights game, or get an overtime loss, they will clinch a playoff spot. Im nervous...
