New model and new fighters, yoohoo!

And another one: the updated Mc80 Home One. The size is adjusted, textures were added and it has a lot less polygons.

 

Also I released two new fighters: the Y-Wing and the Assault Gunboat.

Just a clickerty quicky pickerty to say first class dude!! I guess every one will agree the best model in the game was the MC80 that shagged everyone's computers...and you dude have just repaired it! Wooo! It's just replaced the Bulwark Battle Donut in my game!

 

Gotta say to you Mask, and all you guys making models and additions to the game I love is a big thank you!

The guy, who made these models (Mc80b, Home one and some more) is really talented, although I think he retired from that business a while ago (dunno really), but he gave me permission to convert all of them, so I guess after the finishing touch to Pucho's Viscount, I'll take the Mc90.

 

Btw, what did that Bulwark taste like ?

BEAUTIFULL!! i never knew the rebellion engine could do something that nice. i doubt i can make models that nice. i need to go buy a book that has all the schematics of different ships, im a star wars geek but i dont know all the sizes of stuff, does anyone have a recommendation as to what book i should buy??

I've had a little time to finish work on the Viscount Star Defender and it's just been released.

 

This model was created by a model maker, who was/is working for Pucho777. He paid for the creation of this model and now he's donating it to us, the Rebellion community

 

I've converted it to have the right size and also put textures on it. The model's based on pictures from the XWA NJO site and should work just fine at about 4,800 polys.

For infos directly about Stardestroyers and MonCal ships I frequently use Adam Overholtzer's "Complete Guides" (http://www.hyperjump.net/swguides/) for questions of how big a ship is or how many fighters fit in. That's the most descriptive site I know on this topic.

Our man in Costa Rica I think said it on behalf of all us, thanks fellas; Mask, Pucho, and the guy who paid for it's creation and donated it to us guys at swrebellion.

The pic isn't that good, but it's based on that pics of wizards of the coast the only images on the viscount we have.

I think Tsunami was in charge of ships. Pucho, one thing though, as far as I recall from the list of ships for the TC the Overlord SSD wasn't there.

I'd like some images on that thing and some info too.

No no, Trej you got it wrong. Pucho's models are intended for his own TC. As far, as I know it will include non-canon ships (Overlord) as well as canon ones.

That doesn't mean, that these models can't be used in future TCs and such, since they'll be donated to our community as well.

Heads up people, two new models on the way

 

I finished work on Pucho's Overlord SSD and on a project of my own, the Dauntless cruiser.

 

They should be in the download section soon. No preview pics right now, since my site isn't online again, yet. But that'll change as well.

 

Have fun and I hope the conversion didn't too much out of the texture from Pucho's model (I had to make it brighter, so the ship would be seen in tactical)

 

More will come
