D803, I didn't use multiplayer structure markers, I only put the Pirate Asteroid Base (not the one under secondary structures, I think) and set it to Hostile (not Black Sun Pirates) - same thing with the other hostile units that are pretended to be the planet's defense fleet, or some local faction fleet.

MajorPayne, like I said before in the PM, I liked the stuff and how will be your mod, but why the Venator is available to all the factions? If it's because the Venator is out-dated, the Acclamator should be available too. I think you should put the Venator only for the Empire, and some out-dated CIS warship to the Alliance and the Consortium (it's only a suggestion)... -

Thanks! So, here's my first question: I was wondering to make an Utapau map (having at least two sink holes - it would be a large map), but I get stuck in how to make slopes. Do I do slopes with the Additive Brush, rising and lowering the land until it's good (spendind a lot of time), or there's a special tool that makes this and I don't know?! Because, come on, make the slopes is boooring, I'd prefer to see a SSD death clone exploding lol ...

Hello! I'm new to this stuff too, but I think you can sure modify the game's stock maps, just download the Meg Extractor (I got mine in EaW Nexus) and then open the maps you wish to modify. After you did everything you wanted in the map, save it (can be with the same name), and if you want it to replace the stock one, put it in Data/Art/Maps and they should work. I agree with you, there are a lot of things that can be improved in the stock maps, since in terms of details to things like Secundary Structures placements and base placements. If you want any suggestion...

I CAN'T BELIEVE! For the first time ever, I *coded* something that isn't a prop and it works!!! I made copies of the Mining Facilities, but changed it's names and models to Gas Collectors, they don't have a building animation, but they works fine, in the way that I wanted... It's very easy to most people here, but, uh, my first time doing something *big* in the xmls, so you know... Now I still need to change the icon. Does someone know an icon that's already in the game files that I can use? Hm... Perhaps a limit of 2 or 3 of them by player? Oh, and I have another idea of structure that could provide extra credits, the Orbital Resource Container (Stygium Crystal storage container to Aeten II) and the Drydocks... The drydocks should provide extra credits in GC too; especially in planets with orbital shipyards (Kuat, Mon Calamari, Sullust, Hypori, Mandalore, etc)... -
I'm working on my first map pack, I think it will be released soon, just need to fix some bugs in a few maps and finish others. Here's a preview of some of the space maps: Bespin: Tibanna Wars (space skirmish - 8 players support) Needing more resource of the precious Tibanna Gas, you planned an attack on one of the largest Bespin's Tibanna Gas refineries, the BesGas H-47-K. Watch out to the refinery defence ships, they appear to have some Interceptor Frigates and some Venators modified into light cargo ships (but still well-armored) and most important: we intercepted a transmission that another faction was wanting to take control of the refinery, so hurry... Thanks for both suggestions, I'm gonna test the Construction Pod ingame in a few minutes. Vaders_Legion, start with a bit more credits is good, but start with unlimited credits makes the game boring, I'm my opinion. Unless it's a deathmatch (without space stations, just starting units!) Edited: Bhaalshad, the Orbital Construction Pod trick worked, but it gives a very small ammount of credits (and I changed Base Income Value to 400 instead of 200. The ajor problem is if enemy units stand near it, you lost the pod. Is possible to code this special orbital pod to be buildable in the space stations and you put it into the battle as reinforcement (like any other unit - but it can't move from the it's position)?? : -
Aren't you guys tired of that Asteroid Mining Facilities in Space Skirmish?! Sometimes you plan to make a map that won't have asteroid fields, but you will need to put the damn Mining Facility to have a bigger credit incoming! And it looks like very strange a single, medium-sized asteroid mining facility floating alone in the space without other asteroids along it... So, my idea it's that could have another ways to receive credits, like a trade space station (using the Orbital Construction Pod, Bespin's Tibanna Gas Collector or the Dathomir Nightcloak model). Could someone code it into the game, please? : (Since I don't have the necessary mod skills to do this - I tried and just made something that stays floating and doing nothing in the space )

Hi guys! Since the FoC Map Editor is out (I waited 28 minutes in a line in FilePlanet to download it ) I'm going to make some maps and finish some that I was making for EaW. Here's my first release: Endor: Death Star II Construction It's a small and very simple map, that allows you to play a three way space battle above the Death Star II construction over Endor... It doesn't have so much details, but I'll make a more "beautiful" version soon. The Consortium only salvages from enemy destroyed units if: in GC the planet was corrupted using racketering, or in land skirmish you buy the salvage feature at your Palace.
