  2. I have tried it and the answer is no, you can not because with keys the unit will not accept the last abilitie.

I have corrected the hardpoints on all the new models and added the bump maps on all them less on three, I have problems with the family repair yard, shipyard, rebel plattform and Ion battery, with bump map they take a brown color. By the moment I have added these models.   6. I see a bit problem when I add bump maps, the team color, how can I delete it? I have tried adding on xml spaceunit the no colorization color line with a 255,255,255,255 but it has not effect. Any solution to it?

  8. I´m not god but many of the FOC Spaceaddon models have not bump map. I think that the fx from FOC does not need it. I think that the bump map make a model darker. Thanks by the hardpoint info, now I understand it. But.......how do I change this on 3DMax? Unfortunately there is only a few tutorials about make models on 3Dmax. Do you know how can I create only one geometry object with all the geometry objects from one model, lately I have found the group tool but I think that it is not perfect.

  10. Good there are a big true to all, by the moment you can not find these models on EAW, so they are the best type of models on EAW.
  11. I think that you are wrong because many FOC models have not bump maps, Are they worse? You can try put a screenshot from a XWA model on your computer.........
  12. 1024x768 with full detail the many of the models on my mod are smaller because many are freighters or fighters. Only plattforms are big and I see them very well. And yes Eclipse II is on FOC Spaceaddon.

It is the Evilljedi Eclipse with Spaceaddon same model textures, on few words it is the same model that you can see on Spaceaddon mod but it has many changes on hardpoints (Spaceaddon model has less hardpoints). It has only two habilities, a tractor and one gravity generator. The superlaser is one weapon more. I have added more of 30 Xwing Alliance models to EAW and I see them very well, some have better textures than some EAW models. Now I´m adding some fighter as the Tie droid. Why must I add a bump map? about shadow mesh.........good when I make it and I export the model on 3DMax, this told me that "shadowmesh is not a close volume". I did not add it to my models by it and because I do not see too neccesary it. I do not see problems on hardpoints if you use the correct arc. I have tested the new ships and they run well.

  17. I use original textures and I see very well them. The bump-maps are not neccesary.
  18. Sorry but you are a bit wrong, upgrade models can have a better geometry but their textures are very bad to empire at war. I only will import a few of them but they are a secret proyect to the future.   19. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX or XML Viewer version 3.0, the Macromedia Dreamweaver is a html editor but you can open and create xml files without problems. Xml viewer is very good to look for errors on code or take a fast look on it when you have files as a hardpoints.xml with 3.15mb of information and 60090 lines.
  20. Yes, it is. I will share it when I end the Alliance 1.5 version. Probably on two months, I have been working on it for 10 months, two more is not too time. I have thinking on add some neutral stations to add on maps and to it probably I will need more time.
  21. XWAUP models are worse, textures are very bad, I like more the original. By the moment I have converted 6 freighters and one cruiser, the Bulk Cruiser (it is not the Bulkwark). I have not done more because the past weekend I had not too free time to it and lately I have been doing some Eviljedi models with more hardpoints and some changes, not as you can see them on other mods, now I have a MC104 with 55 visible hardpoints, missile, torpedo and rocket launchers.
  22. I will try them, but by the moment I have many problems with textures, the bulkfreighter is crazy me. And they are to a mod, a free mod, please do not tell me about ilegal things when I have done many mods with things from other games.
  23. Oh no, I know, it is not perfect but the point was import Xwing Alliance OPT models to Empire at War models, now I want try it with some freighters to add them as neutral ships on maps.

I have tried import models from Xwing Alliance to Empire at War and as you can see they run well. http://www.clannomada.com/capturas/alliance0029.jpg Xwing Alliance can be exported to from OPT format to 3dstudio and next they can be open with 3DMax. Next you only need edit them and add engines, hardpoints, textures and more. Ah Xwing Alliance models have their own textures and you can use them on these model conversion.
  25. You will need upgrade you 3dmax 8 with the service pack3 and you will need the 3dmax 8 plugin, now I do not remember where you can download it.
