  2. One question, what code allows to the units garrison on a building? I have tried to change the landbehaviour and add the category garrison without success.
  3. I must say that I have started the creation of the FOC Alliance mod.
  4. I would like know if I can open text dat file with more tools that EAWDat editor because it only let you edit strings and I would copy a many and add them to other dat file.

Good I wait make all the Alliance mod on FOC adding the new FOC characteristic, changing the gold colour to be possible because I hate it and making a different side with underworld, I will change all the heros on FOC. About maps they will the maps from EAW Alliance, I think that they are better with the 98 planet campaign. The unique problem it when I will end the conversion, I would like make it fast but I think that I can be making it one year.
  6. I add the model on one eaw mod, I have the original max file waiting to one Alliance FOC.
  7. The HAG is only a AAT with as Droid tell with a artillery gun. If you have a visual comparation with the AAT, it has a smaller gun. And if you compare the AAT and HAG from other mods with the units on Alliance mod, you will see more changes. And speaking about these units, the MAF has a different fly movement, I have not seen some as it on other mods, this model has not a turret but the main hull is as a turret and when it fly as a fighter, it rotates to fire the best weapon on target, I find it some very interesting, I made the CIS Gunship not as LAAT gunship, I made it as a fighter. And the UTAT, I deleted the back turret barrels because on EAW I do not know create multiple turrets for weapons, on mod UTAT has 7 different weapons, 3 are heavy and the rest are anti infantry weapons. And the HAG........good it has a very fun main gun with infantry. About combat speeder, it is a very light vehicle. Ah I do not wait that one man out Spain play the mod but you can add the things that I have done on it on your mods, only with the correct credit, be careful because I have not done all the mod.

  12. When I end it, I will release it on the mod. I was thinking on make it as a LAAT Gunship but lately I would like try if it can flight as a land fighter, on Episode III we can see it flying very fast.
  13. -I would like make my mod on FOC and I would like know what files must I change and what files can I use from Alliance mod. I have seen the Space add on mod on FOC I see that they are use EAW files. -Other question is what file must I edit to change the spawn side flags on land battles. -And the last question is if I can make bigger the limit of units on combat, the reinforcement panel is a bit small and when I attack on a land battle with 20 different teams the icons do not load well, on it the game is a disaster. Can I make the reinforce panel bigger?
  14. Yes, I have it but I do not go to convert FOC models to nobody. And Why do you want the foc eclipse and vsd? they are a disaster. And lately I´m working on two Clon Wars models more, they are the Cis Heavy Artillery Gun HAG and one air vehicle named MAF Gunship, this last is a very experimental unit that we saw running on BF1. The first is a CIS artillery vehicle as the AAT but with a big gun. I will put screenshots on night probably when I have some ended. And I do not go to make the Protoshuttle, I do not know where use it.

And.......I repeat again, where have you read one Lucasarts public message telling that we can not import FoC models to EAW? or where have you read one Lucasarts public message telling that we can make mods from their games? I have give you all the EULA information and you......what have you give me? nothing of official information. And I´m a bit tired of this.......and I go to continue with the Alliance mod.

  17. Looking the tutorial I do not see problems more problem to add them on EAW than on FOC.
  18. I do not see difference on make a demo as a game with take models from FOC to EAW or ripped a game. Sorry by my words but you are been a bit hypocrite. Lucasarts made the demo only to test the game and people that mod the demo make it as the game, with it many people could not want to buy the full game.

Lately I have been thinking about the import models from FOC and why you tell that it is ilegal and I have remembered that when EAW and FOC demo were release many people on this and other forums and on file front ripped the demo to put things from the full game, was it legal? because it can answer many of your spiritual questions.
  20. Ah Ovi, you should ask to Doofi about use the UTAT model, he is a good man and probably you will have not problems. His email address is derDooFi@gmx.de About Protoshuttle, very probably I do not go to use it because I do not know make animations or make a landing model, and as a space model it is not very good. Probably I will release today the Gunship and the UTAT. I only must change on them the muzzle flash and few things on weapons, I have done the code and test them without problems. I made it. And I think that the legal problems should be from Ultimate Unwrap 3D creators because they make one tool to convert models from games. And Why nobody have answered it. Because nobody can.

  22. I would like add C, these games are from Lucasarts, I did not nothing bad because I´m working with materials from the same company. PD:Language barriers where are you from, Droid? I´m from spain and to me is very difficult understand english sometimes (but I have a spanish copy of EULA on my home).

Yes but I do not see more rip on it than take the Warlords Homeworld 2 mod from Evilljedi, and I at least I have ask to Evilljedi about use their models on my mod, one thing than many modmakers have not done probably, I have seen on this forum Evilljedi models as free models but I think that he has not let a full use of them, when I ask him about the models, he requested me a complete list of the models that I went to take. I want say with it that many people on this and other forums are calling me a ilegal but many people more are really hypocrites with it. Sorry if my words are hard but it is true. But it is not by you Dr Nick, you are a fantastic man, your answers about 3Dmax questions have help me too more than many tutorials on the net.
  24. Yes they do not come directily from battlefront and my cis gunship is very very different to the bf2 gunship. And the Protoshuttle.........good the bf2 model I suppose that it use animations that I have not because it has the wings closed and my model has them open. And the UTAT, it is a model from one bf2 modmaker named Doofi. As you will see they are not a rip.
  25. My mod is not as this example, I give the correct credit to all and I always say that I have not done the mod if not the creators of the models. It is on the readme.txt on mod but you probably can not understand it because I write it on Spanish. They rip the models to Lucasarts, They did not invented their own models. And this thread is becoming something crazy because all we know that Lucasarts never wrote that we have permission to make mods on their games. And you can accuse me from rip models but I have only copied the desing, my models are on ALO format and not on MSH or other formats. And the CIS Gunship is from the film SW Episode III, the same than the Protoshuttle or the UTAT created by Doofi. I do not see more rip on it that put a Star Destroyer on Homeworld 2, one game from other company as Sierra. And the big problem from me was give the correct credit to this because I could have done as many modmakers and only release the models and tell you, "I have created one cis gunship" but I very honest and I do not know tell lies. :
